B. M.I started working in Loganberry Lodge in September 2021. I felt welcomed from the day I stepped into the home. Loganberry Lodge team quickly integrated me into their big family. Loganberry Lodge is a lovely place to be and an extraordinary workplace. All staff are very carrying and friendly. I love all about Loganberry.
J. R.My husband passed away in Loganberry Lodge in February 2020. He was only there a few days, having been transferred there from the hospital. He had advanced vascular dementia. When I went to collect his things, his wedding ring and signet ring were missing. He'd worn that wedding ring every day for 46 years so it was precious to me. When I reported it, I was told 'there are people walking round with dementia. Things go missing'. They said they would have a look but I've heard nothing from them at all. I am very disappointed and hurt that they were so cavalier about something so precious.
T. H.I felt it was very important to let you know how overwhelmed I have been by the dedication shown by your staff during the last few weeks/days of my dad’s life.
They were all without exception absolutely fantastic with both me and my dad, and in my eyes went over and above what was expected of them in caring for him. So this is just a short note to express my appreciation for all that everyone has done for me and dad during this extremely difficult time.
my dad had been at Loganberry Lodge for over 4 years, and as a ‘one off’ has I’m sure presented staff with the odd challenging moment during his time there. However, I guess because of his ways, his wit, maybe even his singing he clearly made an impact to life at Loganberry and endeared himself to staff.
Obviously Dad’s passing has left me with a huge void in my life, which at the moment seems impossible to fill, but I am comforted by knowing that due to the dedication of everyone at Loganberry Lodge, my dad always felt safe, secure and part of the ‘family’
