Village created for the over 50s... with many beautiful prefabricated houses. It's also camping, large gravel and grass pitches, clean bathrooms, with toilet paper and soap, equipped with washing machines and dryers, there's even soap for washing dishes. It is approx. 12km from Glasgow, in the village of Stepps but has the railway a twenty minute walk away with trains running every half hour. The last train back from Queen Street station is very late, around midnight in the summer. Truly recommendable.
