Fantastic! After months of trying to get an appointment with NHS audiology to remove wax from my ears. A friend recommended the better hearing clinic in Radcliffe. The best £48 I've spent. The audiologist I saw was Harfah. From blocked ears to clear ears in 10 minutes. Can't rate her highly enough. Thank you 😊

I went in not being able to hear anything in my left ear… I was worried sick… Harfah the consultant showed then showed me via camera probe in my ear an enormous build up of wax, not only in my left ear but also in my right… She explained everything that she was doing, and as soon as she removed the wax from my left ear, the difference was amazing… She was very professional, patient and kind, an amazing asset to your team… I am certainly a very, very happy client, and would highly recommend anyone with hearing difficulties to not hesitate and visit this clinic… Thank you Harfah… made my day…🤗

After attending my GP with pain in my ears I was told that I needed wax removal in both ears, unfortunately the waiting list was 3/4 weeks. Over the next two days it got worse, leaving me unable to hear from my left ear. I simply called Bernard, who fitted me in with an appointment the next day (& on a Sunday) and he discovered from the consultation that both my ears were completely blocked, he used the micro suction removal which was quick and pain free. Thank you so much Bernard for helping and explaining everything to me as you went along. Kirsty :)

I found the BHC online and phoned up to make an appointment assuming that there would be a long wait. I spoke with two women on the phone who were extremely helpful and very friendly. They organised me an appointment for the next day which was brilliant. Upon arriving at my appointment Bernard was nothing but outstanding. He clearly knows his stuff when it comes to hearing / ears and he talked me through the procedure before beginning. The equipment Bernard uses is state of the art and he operates in a spotless and clinic environment. Whilst I hope that I don’t have any further troubles with my ears I will definitely be returning to Bernard if I have any further issues in the future. Lovely man and an excellent service. Even more Bernard is mobile across a few sites I was still able to make payment on card (which is brilliant considering I never have any cash!) Oh and it’s £10 cheaper than Specsavers and you’re guaranteed to get a better service! Thanks again Bernard!

I booked a complimentary visit to see Bernard as I've been concerned that my hearing wasn't perfect for a while and wanted to get checked out, more for peace of mind than anything. Firstly I would like to say that I would definitely pay for this service but this first visit was free which was a bonus. Secondly what a great experience. It was a nice environment, everything explained to me, Bernard is really nice and the test was simple. It was interesting to see the inside of my ears. I will not be using earbuds anymore! Luckily for me everything is working fine. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is concerned that their hearing isn't quite right.

I managed to get a quick appointment with Bernard only having used Google as a reference - I did not know him. I have found that people who are outstanding in their work are often passionate about what they do and clear on why. Bernard is all of these things. Gyelaine was absolutely fabulous. Had had this treatment done twice before but by someone else, so was a little nervous seeing someone different. The Better Hearing Clinic is located on the upper floor of The Village Optician. My mother and me went to see Bernard at the Better Hearing Aid clinic, after she was given a Starkey hearing aid from abroad. Bernard was very knowledgeable and patient with us. On the technical side, we did a full calibration of the Starkey hearing aid and we found that our previous technicians set some of the settings wrongly. Upon recalibration, my mom is much more comfortable and the hearing aid performs much better. He even provided us advise on controling the different settings and profiles and maintaining the hearing aid. We will definitely be going to the clinic in the future. Thanks Bernard!

Unfortunately, my right ear was blocked just before my exam period was due to begin. I called Bernard and he fitted me in for an appointment on the exact same day. Within half an hour of him arriving, I could hear again from the ear. I cannot thank Bernard enough for the treatment and his exceptional customer service.

Been struggling to hear since before lockdown .I thought enough was enough even been using Olive oil drops for weeks . I phoned up at 11 AM & had an appointment at 2 PM. Bernard was very professional in every way ,explaining what he will be doing & even shows you a photo before and after . I attended the hearing clinic with my partner. Appointment easy to book and on line questionnaire straightforward to complete. Brian micro suctioned my left ear very successfully snd advised me to see the gp with my right ear. Very happy with the professional advice i was given. My partner has his ears syringed every few months at his gp and admitted to being very cynical about having them done privately. Brian cleared both ears with a combination of microsuction and irrigation. The relief was immediate and my partner told Brian they have never been that good. He could not praise him enough and we have already passed Brian's number onto a friend. We will be going there again when needed.

Very happy with the service here - friendly and professional and mindful of Covid precautions. They show you the feed from the camera in your ear so you can literally see what it's like before an after to see the difference. Phoned up at about 10am this morning and had my appointment at 2:30pm. Would be happy to go here again.

A very friendly and reliable service. I had a tremendous amount of wax build up in both ears. The NHS told me I would have to wait 6 weeks to get them looked at. I found out about better hearing. Bernard Fitted me in quickly, and syringed my ears, so back to fully normal hearing. I highly recommend Better Hearing. Also go back for a free check up 3 weeks later.

I have suffered from wax build up on a regular basis for a number of years. Having become fed up with waiting over two weeks for treatment, when booked via NHS, decided to investigate other sources of treatment. Phoned Better Hearing Clinic on Thursday afternoon, had a home appointment with Bernard for 09:00 hrs the next day. Bernard's approach was very professional he examined my ears confirming both needed treatment. He recommended utilising the micro suction method and explained the whole procedure, which was very reassuring. The procedure was very quick, easy and completely painless, quite unlike the irrigation method I have previously experienced. Needless to say I will be utilising Better Hearing next time I have to have treatment. Bernard was also able to offer some advice regarding overcoming a problem I am experiencing with my hearing aids, which I will be discussing with the company who recently supplied the hearing aids. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Better Hearing from initial contact to the successful completion of the treatment. Richard

I looked for a private audiologist after I was given a three month wait for my ears to be cleared on the NHS. I found several but the “Better Hearing Clinic” seemed a good place. I rang at 10am on Black Friday and was in there at 2pm. I found BERNARD to be an approachable and likeable fellow. He worked on my ears conscientiously and efficiently until the job was done and I could hear perfectly again. I knew he was happy 😃 when he could see I was too. Bernard fitted me in last minute today because i couldnt clear my blocked ears before my holiday. Did a home visit and half an hour later i could hear again! Life saver.

Went to get my right ear cleaned and unblocked. I usually do it at my usual doctors but the wait in Wigan is 4 weeks at the least! Got a quick appointment and got my ear unblocked there and then as I'd already loosened the wax with olive oil drops beforehand. Not only does he remove the wax, he'll also check both your ears just to make sure everything is okay! Super friendly guy would highly recommend!
