I am writing to say thank you to the new Acting Home Manager Anne Gaffney. I had struggled for nearly a year to access the Higher Rate Attendance Allowance for my mother. I spoke to Annie approx a week after she arrived. Explained the difficulties I had due to lockdowns, covid backlogs, and ‘brick walls’. By the end of that day she had discovered I had been given the incorrect information last December. She pointed me in the correct direction. She then put aside time to help me complete the forms, and also with the appeal letter for back dating the Higher Rate. I am delighted to report mother now has the Higher Rate, and it was backdated to April 2021. I am impressed with her making time in her very busy day to support and encourage me to the finishing line. Thank you again Annie.

Brampton View is an excellent care home. It has been much improved since it has been taken over by Barchester. The staff are kind and conscientious to all the residents and family members. My mum is well looked after, and although she can't do anything for herself, she has plenty of food and drink given to her throughout the day. If she has any problems the staff call us straight away , which is very kind to let us know how she is. We do visit her 4 times a week , and call frequently to check how she is when we are not there . We are always given plenty of time to discuss anything we may like to ask about her with the staff, they are very supportive of everybody. I would recommend this home to anybody who would be looking to find a brilliant care home with kind staff.

I have been the Hairdresser at Brampton View for over 5 years, after all this time I still value my job in making sure the residents hair needs are met. Staff and Management are always welcoming with a cheery smile, staff always dedicated and more then happy to assist me if needed. On two occasions my mother has been on Restbite at Brampton and on both times she could not fault the homes great food, Activities every day which was fun and interesting, she would be happy to return in the future. I would definitely recommend Brampton View to anyone looking for permanent care for there loved ones. B V Hairdresser Sarah.

The Nursing & Care team went above & beyond what we expected in both the care for my mother & there understanding of our families needs, they were amazing. The Management team unfortunatley did NOT demonstrate the same empathy and understanding towards my family in such difficult times
