I have worked at Lowmoor for about 8 month now, I enjoy coming to work at a happy, clean and supportive environment. I love my job and enjoy coming everyday. Management are good and always helpful when I need help or advice. The care team are always going above and beyond to ensure all the residents are safe, well looked after, happy and have the best quality of life. We look after each other and our residents like our extended family and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Lowmoor Nursing Home is a care facility that provides excellent care for the residents. The care is person centered and delivered to a high standard. The Management are approachable and will listen to any concerns raised by staff, residents and family and react to these concerns. The management often work 60+ hours a week to ensure quality of care. The carers are well trained and deliver a high standard of care. The kitchen staff provide food to a high standard. The housekeeping team ensure the home is clean and comply with infection control policies. The home has a small dedicated maintenance team who ensure the home runs smoothly. The home has an activity team who ensure that the residents are entertained. The owners attend the home 2-3 times a week at a minimum to offer advice and guidance. Lowmoor Nursing home is a well run home that puts the care of our residents first and foremost.

I have worked at Lowmoor for around 8 months now and I can confidently say that there have been major improvements. All of the staff support each other and we have an amazing management team, you can go to the manager about anything and she will give you the best advice possible. It is a really positive and supportive place to work. Everything is person centred for the residents and they are all respected and cared for well. I couldn’t be happier with the job I am in at the moment, it is an amazing place to be!

I have worked at Lowmoor for almost 3 years. I have worked my way from care assistant to senior care assistant and I couldn't see myself doing anything different. The unit I work on Is lovely, the residents I look after are a pleasure to care for and the staff I work alongside are all brilliant. Lowmoor has had its challenges but it has picked itself back up and where we are now is a good place. The management team are brilliant, always happy to help and the door is always open to raise any concerns and they are always dealt with in the correct professional manner. Maxine the current manager has put in so much work to get lowmoor to where it is now. It now looks and feels like a loving, well looked after home and an amazing environment to work in too. The teams are growing each day and getting stronger as time goes on. From the Admin team, kitchen, nurses, domestic, management, maintinence, seniors,carers, families and residents.I thank Lowmoor and all the staff in it for making work life enjoyable and rewarding. And all the residents for letting us into their home to care for them x

Lowmoor is a lovely place to work it is clean and well maintained it is well managed the manager is extremely supportive and friendly she will support the staff and is approachable. The staff at the home are very knowledgeable regarding the care of the residents they are highly skilled and trained to the highest standards. There is a homely atmosphere within the home and staff work as a team. The manager and the deputy ensure that staffing levels are above what is required they will come in to ensure the staffing is appropriate and safe they will work with the staff on the floor if needed. I would recommend the home and would place my own relatives in the home

I have found Lowmoor to be a very caring home. You can see there has been a lot of investment in the place with all bedrooms and living spaces being recently refurbished as well as the them creating a pub for the residents and family which is lovely. I think it's quite obvious the new management team have let a lot of the old staff go hence all the negative reviews. The residents at Lowmoor have a lot of complicated needs and I know quite a few of them have been served notice from several other local homes so I think the team are doing a great job!

I had volunteered in the pass with certain activities and I highly recommend this care home with working there or living there. The home has come on because of there being new management recently I have seen the work that has been done such as the pub, the ship, the tea room, potting shed, the change in decorations and how friendly all the staff are no matter what title they have when working in the care home, how all work as a team no matter how difficult tasks can be. I have also witnessed how much thought the carers put in looking after the residents and families even though it can be a challenging job for everyone at times. The hygiene and cleanliness is superb throughout the care home. Everyone at the care home puts 100% in when looking after the residents by involving them with everyday life. The residents are made to feel like it’s there home with personal comforts, activities and general day to day tasks. This care home is fantastic!

I have visited Lowmoor Nursing Home many times and it is quite clear from the moment you walk in, how dedicated all the staff are to the residents that live here. The staff are well supported by the Management Team, Maxine has an open door policy for residents, relatives and staff. They offer a number of support services to families and staff, such as bereavement counselling, advice and signposting to other support services. The wellbeing of the staff team is a high priority. The staff go above and beyond for the residents. THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE TOTALLY FABRICATED. Keep up the great work you all do. You're all amazing!!!!!

I have recently started working at Lowmoor the last month, I was really nervous to start working here as I have anxiety and panic attacks. But the support I have received from management and staff has really helped me settle in and feel a part of the team. I didn't know any of the other staff members, which made it tougher for me, but these staff members were really helpful and supportive of my condition as well as always giving 100% commitment to the residents as well as the staff. I have worked at lowmoor for quite a few years,and in my experience, it is a place that I wish to continue working for. I have read certain reviews, just recently published, I might add, that I strongly do not agree with The residents and their families are and always will be treated with the up most respect and dignity. At the end of the day this is the residents homes and we come into their home to work. The staff are all dedicated and very professional, no matter what their title is, they all work as a team, and do their up most to interact with all of our residents and families, they will go the extra mile to put a smile on our residents faces, we have professional working team that adapt to all of our residents individual needs, and expectations, from dietary needs, activities, personal touches, decor.. Our manager has worked hard at changing lowmoor and since she has been at lowmoor alot has been put into place, we do now have a pub, a shop, a beer garden, a tea room. The decor is always being updated, we are always trying to achieve the up most for our residents and their families

Well I don’t even know where to start with this!! When I first joined the team at lowmoor they welcomed me with open arms like I had worked there for years!! All the residents are cared for and looked after and loved by all of the staff we are one massive family in there. The manager Maxine is the best manager any home could wish for she has an open door for anyone that needs it!! Not only does she keep that building running she is amazing with her staff we always stick together in lowmoor and the love that is felt in the building it is bursting through the walls. Lowmoor Nursing Home is a warm and welcoming place for residents and family members. The home is focused on residents well-being and quality of life. The staff are well manured and always have time for any questions raised by family members. It is nice to see meaningful and productive staff/resident interaction. In the past six months the home has gone through a radical transformation with an ongoing renovation and redecoration program along with the introduction of a shop and bar to aid in residents independents and to promote a sense of community. The home holds family meeting to gain input and discuss any concerns, issues and ongoing works, allowing the home to be shaped by the residents and family's. The home is a great place and seeing the ongoing transformation helps to promote a healthy atmosphere of which is noticed and well received by the residents.

I started work at lowmoor nine months ago and have found lowmoor to be a very friendly and homely place the staff are very welcoming and the manager is very approachable and friendly. The staff at lowmoor work very hard to care for their residents and many with complex needs.staff always act professionally and put their residents needs first with dignity and respect. The home is very clean thanks to hard working housekeeping staff. Lowmoor is under going many changes at the moment and all for the better and I am looking forward to helping lowmoor be the best.

I have worked at lowmoor for 10 years over time things have changed for the better. It's more centred for each person living at the home. Major changes are underway and it's looking fab. Doctor lidder the owner of the home comes in quite a few times each week to make sure the home running smoothly he takes his time to say hello to everyone and you can go to him with anything. Maxine doing wonders to the home and each member of staff keep up the hard work you are doing a great job

Every time I visit this home, the first thing I notice is how homely it is and how the Residents appear happy and content. The environment is homely and clean and the staff, in everything they do, work with a person centred ethos. The manager is very approachable, kind, caring and extremely supportive, (She has recently helped me through a very difficult time). She puts the Residents first and foremost and will always go above & beyond for all of her team.

After my aunt being moved from 3 previous care homes, to hospital and then Community hospital, we were determined to find the right home for her. After recommendations from both staff and a residents wife, we visited Lowmoor. We were instantly impressed with both the management and care team. We knew straight away this was going to be the right place. The facilities were very impressive, there's even a bar, shop and potting shed. The residents all looked clean, tidy and well looked after. My auntie arrived via patient transport and by the time we arrived (within a couple of hours) she'd been given a bath, had a meal and shown around the whole home. Her room was newly decorated with brand new curtains, bedding and a welcome basket full of treats and toiletries. She was made very welcome. She has now been there over 5 months and I cannot say a bad word against the place. She is very challenging at times but the staff are very supportive and treat her with dignity and manage her very well. She has gained weight and enjoys her meals that are freshly prepared daily. The staff even organised a private birthday party for her in the bar, they provided a little buffet, refreshments and a birthday cake. Which we all ENJOYED! (the cake was beautiful!) We (my aunties family) cannot thank maxine and her team enough for the support and care they provide to both my auntie and us. Well done!!! IGNORE THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS!!!!

I visited this nursing home during events such as the Summer Fair and other various events and parties. Even so, I noticed particularly how the residents were very happy and well cared for. I found the staff were very welcoming and they treated me as part of the family as soon as I stepped through the door. Overall, I would recommend this nursing home as it is a very caring and overall great place, and I would certainly consider taking older relatives to here if it came to it.

I would like to thank all the residents and relatives for making me welcome. I have been working at Lowmoor now for a few weeks getting to know everyone and the staff here have been excellent. Dr Lidder and Mr Lidder have also been very supportive and together we will be a great team. Dear staff team I am so sorry that you have read the malicious review posted today by you know who- you are the best team in the world and compassionate kind and friendly and you look after my residents very well keep up the good work and be proud of what we do here. Making a real difference to people lives and working so hard. I really do appreciate all of you and so do our wonderful residents and families. We are privileged to be working with such amazing residents and their families. To the perpetrator of the malicious review I am taking legal action and you will be hearing from my lawyer. Hi team the other one is at it now-Just remember remain polite and professional like we always are and remember how amazing you all are. Take some time to think how these people are riddled in guilt and that's why they become so defensive and have to blame others for their decisions. Its really sad and I feel sorry for them as they are not getting the help they need. I can assure you this much the legal team will be contacting them. Hi Team we did it CQC have awarded the service GOOD in all areas. You are an amazing team and have worked so hard to achieve this. I am extremely proud of all of you. To the doubters we knew we would do this and its our turn to shine. Well done Lowmoor family we did it whoop whoop.

I started working at lowmoor nursing home in may this year and I have found it a warm welcoming place to work all the staff are supportive and the care of the residents is of no exception brilliant I’m a carer and we meet every individuals needs to a high standard we do everything to make sure residents are looked after they are part of our family and we are there’s the management is very supportive and understanding a lot more approachable than my other manager at my old work place please don’t hesitate to look around our home it’s full of warmth and determination from our care team and management this is a lovely home and your loved ones will always be well looked after .
