I went to Glenwood in the mid to late 1950 after graduating from
John Whites in Matchett Street. I remember Mr. Harold Wilson (Grade 5), Miss McCauley (Grade 6 -the Scholarship Class). She was offer met by an Royal Air Force Officer after school. All the boys were most impressed to see an Officer in RAF uniform.
Mr. David Gamble was the Head Master in John Whites and Mr Bradshaw was the HM in Glenwood. Mr.Stewart (nicknamed "Stewarty") was the Caretaker. After leaving Glenwood I went to the College of Technology (the Tech) on a Scholarship. I lived in 15 Dewey Street.
