Highly recommend Stephanie/Talking Steps. She has supported both our son and us on such a rewarding journey. Stephanie has provided us with tools and strategies to help our son who had severe speech delay. We had previously tried to get support from external agencies but no-one would listen to our concerns. 'Stephanie didn't just listen - she helped and supported' Stephanie works brilliantly encorporating strategies through play which works wonderfully. Without her help we can honestly say we would probably still be banging on doors and getting little help. We are so proud of our beautiful boy - who is as confident and chatty as ever, which is wonderful to see and hear. Last week Stephanie discharged her service due to his continued improvement which is fabulous but at the same time we are so sorry not to be seeing you. Stephanie you are a star!! Thank you for everything ❤️❤️ x

Steph has been amazing in supporting us to help our 2 year old with his speech delay. Her strategies were effective immediately and we’ve seen an explosion in language and a massive improvement in his attention span. Two months later, our little boy is saying little sentences and communicating much better and we understand his issues and how to help him much better too. Steph helped my son 5yr old with his speech delay. It was tough with my son to have him sit at one place and focus on any activities. With Steph's help he slowly started getting interested in the activities she did with him to help him understand and speak. We are now on a writing board and PECS to help him communicate effectively. Steph has been helping our 3yr old daughter with speech and communication. Steph was an absolute revelation with her - speech has developed and her communication skills have progressed from a tantrum when she couldn't tell us what she wanted back at the start of 2019, to today where she pointed at the cupboard and asked me for a drink. Steph's skills, help, and advice has been invaluable to us and we certainly couldn't have achieved much of what we have achieved without our weekly visits. Thank you so much Steph.

Steph helped our two year old speech-delayed son to gain some fundamental understanding of the purpose of communication. This has enabled him to ask for what he wants rather than getting frustrated, which has led to a rapid expansion of his vocabulary and comprehension of language. She also provided valuable advice on introducing adult led games, which has helped our son to understand the requirement for structure in some activities.

I was very fortunate to find Talking Steps. I was struggling to find anyone to help me with my sons speech difficulties as he is so young but Talking Steps therapy came to my aide when noone else would. She has given me amazing and detailed suggestions and advice which is greatly recieved because I realized my partner was doing the exact opposite. I can’t recommend Steph enough... she was fantastic with my little boy (aged 4) and kept him engaged during his speech therapy by playing lots of fun games. Before Steph’s help, he struggled to say a lot of words and most people that didn’t know him struggled to understand him. With only 6 months of Steph’s weekly sessions his speech disorder has now completely gone. For example, my little boy could not pronounce the “S” sound through his mouth. It was always through his nose. After a couple of months of working with Steph, he managed to say it once through his mouth for the first time ever. 4 months after that, his speech is now perfect, better than other children his age! Steph managed to teach him the “S” sound along with other various sounds that he was unable to make such as “T”, “Sh”, “Ck”. The speech therapy with Steph was worth every penny and more! We cannot thank you enough.
