Bavant Road Hopscotch has truly changed our lives. My daughter has been going to the nursery for nearly 6 months and since starting her speech has developed, her play skills have expanded beyond belief and she is becoming very independent. The nursery has been incredible for her overall development. The nursery itself is well equipped, the staff are lovely and incredibly competent and the whole building is very organised and feels safe (there is even a soft-play area!). Highly recommend for all children!

I can't speak more highly of the entire team at Hopscotch. And, more importantly, my daughter absolutely adores it. I have been so impressed with how they continue to manage the sensitivities and challenges involved with the pandemic - it is thoughtful and effective. From our first viewing of the nursery to today (>1.5 years on) I can't fault Hopscotch. The nursery is spotless and the children are well entertained and cared for. If you can get a space, book it!

My little girl is flourishing since she started at hopscotch bavant road. She’s always smiling and happy to go to nursery and is very quick to wave good bye to me. The staff are amazing and the way my daughter responds to them at the door speaks volumes to me. They know her very well and even picked a very thoughtful Christmas book for her, knowing it was a favourite of hers. The small details matter and their compassion for my child shines through that. They really do care and work so hard in installing strong foundations in my child’s development. I was very emotional on her first day, handing her over at 7 months old so I could go to work was a big thing for me. The worry, the guilt and not knowing if I was doing the right thing. I didn’t doubt the care would be the best because I had that trust built from my settles with her key worker and meeting the nursery manager who made me feel completely at ease on my visit. The team they have is superb and the level of care is exceptional.

Our daughter attends Bavant road nursery and we have had a fantastic experience at each age group. Special mention must go to pre-school though as we have been amazed at the range and quality of activities offered every day alongside the level of care and attention each child receives. During lockdown the nursery team were brilliant at balancing all of the competing issues to provide the best level of care in extremely challenging circumstances. We went with Hopscotch as it was recommended as one of the best nurseries around and our experience has entirely validated that recommendation

My second son to start as a baby and go all the way through to preschool. Thank you to all the amazing staff who have looked after him over the years. Who are mostly the same staff who looked after his older brother too. We would say we will miss you but our third son has just started and can't wait to see him progress just like his brothers. Before choosing the Hopscotch nursery I have had a look at around 5 other nurseries in Brighton and the Hopscotch appeared to be the best! I was impressed how clean it is, how everything is well organised. The staff is extremely caring, kind, supportive and attentive to details. Every holiday parents are receiving something hand made by their kids and this creates unforgettable memories for the rest of our lives. Any favour from parents will be accepted with enthusiasm and support from careers. I'm confident that my little one is happy, safe and developing properly together with her lovely friends. I will recommend the Hopscotch Nurseries to every parent looking for the best place for their little babies.

Our daughter started at Hopscotch in the summer 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. We have always been kept up to date about necessary changes and the staff have clearly been working very hard to maintain their high level of childcare through these tough times. The communication and feedback via Tapestry has been great and enabled us to get a sense of what nursery life is like, even though we haven’t been able to observe this directly due to covid. The team have been really understanding about our frequently changing circumstances and flexible around things like start dates. Our daughter really loves going to Hopscotch and we have always been reassured that she is in safe hands. The staff are wonderful. We really could’t recommend it enough.

My eldest daughter loved her time at Hopscotch, and now my youngest is following in her footsteps. As a family, we cannot fault a single thing. Returning to nursery post-lockdown in Summer 2021 was incredibly smooth for our family, and it's all down to the hard work of the Hopscotch team. The communication we had was first-class, we were informed and consulted regularly, at a time when things were changing daily. This was not only impressive, but enormously reassuring. With so much uncertainty in many other aspects of life currently, knowing that the children have gone back into such a wonderful, warm, safe environment has been so comforting.

Both of our daughters love Hopscotch. The team are great and they've made some little friends. Every member of the team that I've met at Bavant Road and at the Hove branches have been lovely and caring. Our daughter has been at this nursery for little of a year now and we can't speak highly enough of the team at Bavant Road, she absolutely loves it there and it feels like a really well oiled machine with a great team across the board. Our son (now at school) also went to Hopscotch and he seamlessly transition into school life, they really do prepare the children well for primary school, both in terms of social, soft and educational skills.

I actually went to this nursery myself 25 years ago! It has modernised a lost since then and my sighted has been going since she was 6 months old and is now nearly 2. She loves it every day they have new activities and experiences and they focus on helping the children to develop all their different skills. They give lots of feedback and will often update you with pictures and comments on what the children have been up to which is really helpful. All the staff are friendly and my daughter has bonded with many of them in the time she has been there, I would recommend this nursery to anyone who needs great childcare.

Both my daughters have attended Hopscotch Bavant Road and what an amazing experience they have both have had. Two very different children who both started at 10 months old in 2014 & 2017 and moved their way through the nursery to the final pre-school setting. At each stage my children have been loved, looked after, had fun and flourished. The final pre-school room ensured they were ready for the emotional & physical side to school and have also helped them with the early years curriculum also. I cannot fault Hopscotch as a nursery. All the staff are professional yet caring and willing to support children. The communication from management is prompt and concise. Overall my experience has made going to work that much easier, I have no mum guilt and when I pick my daughter up I get a very enthusiastic briefing from my daughter of all the great things they have been up to... Yoga, Painting, Messy play, Soft play, Role play, Reading etc. They also provide hot organic meals so again making working life easier, I have nothing to prepare in advance. Thank you Hopscotch for making mine and my children's life a happy one :-)

The staff at Hopscotch Preston Park are outstanding. The nursery environment and atmosphere is fantastic. The staff focus on development with fun alongside nurturing and motivating my son who has been attending since he was one year. I cannot recommend Hopscotch highly enough or praise them enough for their absolutely incredible work during COVID. They have given us the utmost confidence in their keeping our little boy safe in the nursery environment in what has been an extraordinarily stressful time for all. The staff are unflappable and every single one of them is a delight to deal with. There is not a single thing I can fault them with. Their communication with us has been excellent and I have every confidence in their abilities in not only coping with COVID but also generally as childcare professionals. We have already had our eldest child go through Hopscotch (pre COVID), and have always been very happy with the service they have provided us and our children. Like I say, I cannot recommend them highly enough. An absolutely excellent nursery, and excellent management.

My daughter is three and has been at Hopscotch since she was nine months old. We absolutely love it. They are really nurturing and the all the carers know what’s going on with each child’s development. They put lots of pictures on the Tapestry app, with comments on how each type of play relates to their development and what they/we can do to nurture different skills. My little girl is really happy there.

We are so glad we chose Hopscotch on Bavant road for our 2 year old. Not only does he love attending but the staff are so good with him.
