James is an excellent drum teacher. He pays great attention to the student. His experience and musical education get the students being able to play the instrument quickly and show a fast learning curve. My son, Stan, started drumming lessons with James almost 3 years ago and he has been extremely happy with the experience. His patience and commitment to teaching allowed Stan to develop a wide range of drumming techniques, as well as skills to read the music. His enthusiasm for drumming and music in general are contiguous, allowing him to make the lessons fun and positive experience!!! He is encouraging, inspirational and dedicated tutor and it is needless to say, we are amazed with Stan’s progress, as well as the confidence he gained through this experience. I have tried a couple drumming lessons with other local teachers, but I found I made the most progress with James. He is really friendly and easy to learn from. He always replays the same beat for me for the 473738th time (thank you) and he knows how much to target on each lesson. I really recommend him ! He is also really reasonably priced :-)
