My Daughter has been attending the riding school at Fir Tree for close to 18th months now. The owner and the farm staff are exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My Daughter was extremely shy and nervous and had no riding experience, they helped her overcome this and she is now developing into a confident and competent rider. At 11 years old all she ever wants to do is to be around horses, to care for them as well as ride them. I genuinely think that she will now grow up through her teenage years having Fir Tree Farm as part of her life. Highly recommended.

Fir Tree Farm really is a fantastic place to learn to ride and have that horse and pony experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and patient and the horses and ponies are all very well taken care of. With their help, I have got back into riding after many years off and I've done a range of riding activities. My Son and Daughter have also been learning to ride here and we wouldn't go anywhere else. I can highly recommend to all.

I have just recently returned to Fir Tree and have had some hacks out and a refresher adult lesson. My instructor was very kind, knowledgeable and patient with me. The horses are well cared for and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fir Tree is a lovely place to ride. The horses are happy and the instructors are all super friendly and professional. It's a really welcoming stables whether you're a beginner or already have some experience. They're very good at matching people with ponies!

My sister and I spent most of our childhood at fir tree we have very fond memories of the farm and loved every visit now 15 years later my 2 girls have just started lessons here and they already love it as much as we do...the staff are really friendly, relaxed and extremely knowledgeable anything these guys don’t know about horses isn’t worth knowing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a riding school with a professional but relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic opportunities for young kids interested in horses and riding. My daughter cannot get enough at 2.5 yrs old. Absolutely fantastic services and the staff are amazing. Cant wait to get in again for a toddler experience.

Great 'Starter Experience' location for the first time / novice / young children rider. The kids love it, & the young staff were great. Well worth you checking it out.

Friendly staff to all age groups including patents and spectators. I take my 4 yr old there and I have also ridden there myself. They accommodate any reasonable request ( for example my 4 yr old with lead rein experience and myself who has been riding years in the same lesson) They have reasonable prices and hold events through the year that you can join in without paying silly yearly membership fees. You just pay on the day. Would recommend to all age groups And abilities. They will take children from 3 years up yet many riding schools will not allow children under 5yrs due to not henning correct insurance.

Our family rode with the Bennett's when they were at Crossfield House in the 70's and then again when they moved out to Moss in the 80's. Lovely family, great instructors and would recommend to anybody for starting horse riding lessons
