I had the pleasure to have Blanca from Spanish Connection Edinburgh as a Spanish teacher and I can definitely recommend her as a professional teacher. Not only is she very calm and patient but also a nice and funny person to be around that is able to explain even difficult topics in an approachable way. She was always on time and well prepared for our lessons and never failed to make me feel welcomed and understood. After my lessons with her I gained the necessary confidence to talk and interact in Spanish. I would always choose her again as my teacher! :)

The favourite part of my week is my Spanish class with Blanca! I love my classes with Blanca, they make me happy. I really recommend her because of her passion for Spanish, she likes to talk, her patience, of course her knowledge of Spanish, and her sense of humour. So my classes are fun and relaxing, which is the only way to learn anything - having fun and being relaxed, this is so important, otherwise you're wasting your time and learning is hindered.

Blanca at Spanish Connection is a fantastic teacher. She works exactly around your needs both with timetabling and by focusing classes very specifically around your goals and requirements. Blanca is extraordinarily likable - as both a teacher and person. She is always positive, friendly and encouraging. She's got a great sense of humor and judgement about how to best work with students, and she effortlessly stays casual and positive while building on language concepts or guiding the conversation in a way that benefits the student. I think this is really important in a teacher. Studying language can sometime feel intimidating, and on days where I felt stressed and busy with work or life, she made it easy and even enjoyable to show up for my Spanish lesson - even when I felt like I wasn't very good, she made it no big deal. I started taking lessons with Blanca over 6 months ago, and plan to continue. I highly recommend working with her.

Communication with Blanca, the course organiser, was really good throughout and Raquel, who taught the group, was an excellent teacher who gave us a very good grounding in the language.
