My daughter attended the teens summer class and absolutely loved it. Each day they worked with different mediums and were encouraged to use their own expression. Caroline was lovely and made my daughter feel totally at ease in the class, highly recommend.

Having not painted properly since higher Art decades ago, I was looking for quite a laid back beginner's art class where people didn't take themselves too seriously. I got so much more than that. The course really brought an old passion back to life and I have thoroughly enjoyed every class, taught expertly from a talented and knowledgeable Caroline, who is approachable, relaxed and fun in her approach. The studio is small but great for the number of students and makes for a familiar environment where I felt at ease. The class time was also ideal for me, being an evening, weekday class and it was great value for money too. Can't wait for the next course. Thanks Caroline!

My daughter has been attending this class for several months and absolutely loves it. She has always enjoyed art, however Caroline has really nurtured her talent and I love seeing my daughter’s creations. My friends and I just spent a lovely few hours at The Wee Art Studio with Caroline weaving willow Christmas decorations. My son also attends Caroline’s art club on a Friday afternoon and he always enjoys his time there learning new skills to develop his art. Caroline is a great teacher and her classes are a great way to spend time with your friends and learn a new skill. Would highly recommend

Caroline is a legend! Not only is she a wonderful person but she is the most talent artist and talented teacher. She has a true passion for art and that it should be accessible and doable for all. She is particularly fantastic with non artie types , those with asn needs or any kind of doubt that art is for them. I CAN NOT recommend her classes enough. The 8 week beginner adult art class was fabulous. Caroline is very attentive, and while she teaches a range of techniques to help you find your style, she’s also happy to support you in trying the things you enjoy or are more suited to. The 2 hour class is really relaxing, and also represents good value, as all materials are provided. I look forward to a new block later in the year!

I signed up for an Adult beginners art class with Caroline last year whilst still in lockdown. The class started in January this year and was the best decision I have made. I am a total novice and have learned so much from Caroline in a short period of time. The greatest thing about the class is the sheer relaxation when painting. The 2 hrs flew in and you can get lost without any worries or stress which is priceless. I now have the confidence to use acrylics and watecolours and come up with some of my own creations. Whilst I will never be an "artist" the taking part in the class was a joy. Caroline makes everything look so effortless and is very kind and patient teacher.Caroline always encouraged the class positively and over the weeks you can immerse yourself in the tasks . I am very competitive by nature and after the first week didnt really care so much about the finished work it was the process that really was great fun and therapeutic. The other members of the class were able to produce amazing works also from novice in a short period of time and Caroline nurtured this brilliantly. The great thing you can go with the flow without any judgement. I will continue to use Watercolours as a hobby and transport myself from the daily grind to wherever I want and in my dotage will be able to enjoy this great pasttime. Thanks Caroline really enjoyed meeting you and the whole class was an amazing experience and nore than met my expectations.

I had wanted to be able to draw and paint since I left school several decades ago! After joining Caroline's Tuesday afternoon class just 3 months ago, I have made a number of paintings and drawings (in class and at home) in a wide range of styles which I am proud of and people who have seen them are very impressed with. Caroline is a great teacher and the small group session means almost one-to-one help. It's just great fun and two hours fly by. I would recommend a course or drop in session to anyone with a desire to try painting.

A lovely wee shop & art classes run by a lovely lady. Caroline has been brilliant with my 17 year old Higher daughter & 12 the old boy. Nice things to buy in her shop & also great for quick school art supplies. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Signed up for a block of classes with Caroline and I've never looked back! The classes are very relaxed with a lovely friendly atmosphere, mostly due to Caroline being an excellent tutor . Thoroughly enjoyed my wee course and hope to get on the life drawing course in the New year .
