Alhamdulillah, I feel very fortunate to have seen an Al Qalam advert in a favourite take-out place! This is exactly what I was looking for. The classes are well structured. It is evident that a lot of thought has gone into the materials used. The teachers are very knowledgeable, engaging and patient with students. Good communication from the team regarding any announcements. I'd really encourage anyone who sincerely wants to learn Arabic properly to enquire about classes. Daytime and evening classes available to suite everyone. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Al Qalam is a real breath of fresh air! Traditional knowledge taught in an innovative and most engaging way, empowering its student with a true confidence in the Arabic language. It welcomes all, my husband, children and I are all benefiting immensely from the classes; which have been well structured and planned, with each lesson being 30 minutes, keeping everyone engaged, focused and wanting more by the end! Well-organised and very professional institute providing a structured approach to learning the fundamentals of the Arabic language. Highly qualified teachers guide students from an introduction to Arabic grammar and work towards an advanced level to understand the language of the Qur'an. I have just finished year one of the sisters arabic course and it was so good! The apas and molanas are so nice and they make everything so easy and understandable. I am 13, in year nine, and it was great experience. It was a lot easier than i thought it would be and there isn't too much work, and whole thing was made really enjoyable by my classmates and apa. I have learnt so much and am so much further than where i was last year.

Excellent institution to master and understand the Holy Quran. Being in full time employment, its a pleasure to switch off and attend the classes everyday from 5pm to 7.15pm. It has had a profound effect on revitalizing my eemaan, alhamdulilla. The setting is extremely professional and the teachers are in my humble opinion, second to none.

I was fortunate to study Arabic and many different kitabs under Maulana Hashim since my first arrival in Leicester in 2012. It is difficult to write a review since a few lines can't make justice to the 'ilm I was taught, but to just mention one main point I believe Al-Qalam institute was founded on taqwa and has sincere concern for the progress of its students.
