The teachers are amazing! They are so patient and positive. They are passionate about what they do. My lessons are completely tailored to me and, as if by magic, I can already speak French more fluently than I could ever have imagined! Fun, friendly, and effective - I would definitely recommend.

The motivation for learning a language, either from scratch or from a basic level of proficiency, differs from person top person and the teachers at Bond Street Languages are experienced at adapting their teaching methods to respond to each person’s objectives and individual learning styles. One core objective pervades: success. Success comes in many forms but for me it meant that, within 48 hours of starting the immersion course, I was instinctively thinking and speaking in Spanish with increased confidence and a smile on my face. My advice to anyone wishing to learn a language would be to enrol at Bond Street Languages and trust the process. Success is waiting for you!

I recently spent an incredible 5 days on an intensive Italian course with Bond Street Languages. I've noticed a massive improvement in my ability to communicate with my partner (who is Italian), and my confidence has massively increased since. I travelled to Milan the weekend after the course and my partner's friends were commenting on the improvement. It was a real challenge to find the time to do this course as I"m so busy with work, and it wasn’t easy... but I’m so very glad I did. My teachers Gioele and Sara were incredible and they really are both an asset to this company. Lovely people, wonderful teachers. With sincere thanks to all at BSL for a truly bespoke and valuable experience.

The method and teachers here are excellent. Their process is very relaxed and intuitive - and quite a lot of fun - but you end up learning an extraordinary amount in a very short space of time. I went from zero Italian to being able to hold basic conversations and understand simple documents within a couple of days. Meeting with estate agents in Italy, more than one assumed that I'd been studying for at least a few months.

Excellent course that was well worth the investment. Across eight days with Gioele, Sara, and Anna, I went from a very rudimentary ability to speak Italian to being able to hold a converation in mutiple tenses. The teachers are structured and deliver a high-quality learning experience, and are also completely adaptable to different learning styles; for example, they slightly tweaked the order in which they introduced new subjects to match the structure I was using to understand them. I would recommend this school to anyone seriously interested in making rapid language progress.

After doing a 12hr/5day intensive Spanish course with Vanesa and Max, I could feel myself thinking in Spanish more and more as the course went on. Each day was entirely in Spanish helping me rapidly improve my listening and speaking skills, growing my vocabulary and picking up some idiomatic phrases, all whilst experiencing great food and seeing the sights of London.

I've just completed a live intensive training course in French with Bond Street Languages consisting of seven days of 12h per day one-on-one tuition. The training was covid secure and involved three 4-hour blocks of face-to-face training with three different native French tutors. Despite the long days, each tutor did a fantastic job of keeping the training engaging and relevant to my professional role and life, to the point that it never once felt tiring. All three tutors were were warm, professional and patient and did a fantastic job of explaining everything. All the credit to them, my level of French rose from B1 to C1 in the space of just a week and from the start this was obviously a far more efficient way of learning than all the other methods I've tried in the past. If you want to become fluent in a foreign language quickly, this is the only way I would recommend!

High quality, engaging language classes. I've taken 50 hours of French and am currently learning Spanish - both have been delivered in an excellent manner, taking into account my level, progress and preferred ways of learning. Like all the other reviews here, I rate BSL 11/10!! While the lessons are intense, such that you take a lot in and quickly, they don't feel intense – they are enjoyable. Both teachers were patient and found ways of teaching the various elements in a way that was easy to understand and remember. The course was very much tailored to my abilities and ways of learning, and the teachers took the time to learn about me and my life to make the lessons relevant to me and my experience. Ana, who runs BSL and set up the lessons, was very attentive and checked in several times over the two weeks to ensure I was happy and had everything I needed. If you're thinking of learning/brushing up on a language, this is the place!

I spent 4 weeks with the lovely team at Bond Street Languages. I started with zero Spanish and finished with far better ability than I ever imagined I would. The teachers are incredibly empathetic and sensitive to your learning style and ability. They run at your pace, while encouraging you to progress as much as you can. Bond Street Languages was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone learning a language. I extended my course many times and I’m sure I’ll be back again. I had never learnt Spanish but now feel comfortable living in Mexico! The teachers were amazing, I had beautifully organised notes and speaking 1 on 1 helped my accent, vocabulary and grammar infinitely. I particularly loved walking around this iconic area and commenting on eg art galleries, putting into practise my newly-learnt Spanish, it was a wonderful way to change the working environment, explore Bond Street and have a break from the classroom. All my teachers tailored the classes perfectly to my level and I learnt more Spanish in a month than I learnt French in 10 years at school. I did and intensive 4 hour day program, which I would highly recommend because it allows your brain to retain and build much more information than less frequent classes. By the end of my time as BSL I wrote Ana this letter; Querida Ana, Espero que estes bien. Me gustaría decirte cuanto he disfrutando mis classes. Cuando empecé, no se nada pero ahora siento que he aprendido mucho☺️. Tengo ganas de hablar más español y poder comunicarme con más personas en el mundo. Recently, I was guided through the 10-day Italian Immersion course, by two of the school’s wonderful tutors. The experience proved to be invaluable. From the start, Ugo & Elisabetta expertly curated tuition; I was challenged to push past zones of comfort, without ever feeling overwhelmed. Going into the course I had expectations, goals if you will, centered around the acquisition of Italian. My skills & confidence improved significantly. More importantly, I emerged with a passion for the culture and its arts. Elisabetta, in particular, beautifully contextualised lessons taught. Grazie! I recently completed a 5-day immersion course for French at BSL. I would recommend this course for anyone who is serious about learning a language. Unbelievable -- I cannot recommend highly enough. I entered this course with zero French, but aspirations of holding an everyday conversation (ordering at a cafe, getting around, etc.). The immersive week I had with Mireille and Rafael completely changed my life. I was blown away by how much those two incredible professors could cram into my tiny brain in such a short space of time. They put an extraordinary amount of effort into tailoring each lesson so it was not just instructional but also enjoyable. Each lesson moved at my pace and was completely tailored to my needs and challenges. After a week at Bond Street, I can do so much more than just order food. I can hold meaningful conversations, albeit slowly and with a terrible accent. I suppose courses like this are all about the teachers. In this regard, there are no better instructors than Mireille and Rafael. There isn't enough time in the day to recommend them highly enough.

Very intense and useful training courses which i strongly recommend. I have chosen a 4 days + 1 day with 8h each. This is a good way to revise lessons and see on the last day if it worked. Teachers are dynamics with very complementary teaching approaches. Having 2 teachers over a day is a good way to maintain the dynamic for the student who remains under pressure (positive pressure). The best language learning experience I have ever had. Never have I learnt so much, so quickly and so enjoyably! By the end of the first week I went from not speaking a single word of Italian to holding a conversation. It was like magic! By the end of the first three months I had Italians saying how good I was at speaking. I could also read and write, and understand other native speakers. Ugo and Elisabetta are a dream team, and Ana has helped our sessions to move very smoothly online. We use both zoom and skype and Ugo and Elisabetta include many different activities and tasks that both hold my imagination and are interesting. I completed a 5 day introductory Italian course with Bond Street Languages in January and moving online has been seemless. I am delightfully impressed and learning the beauty of Italian with the Bond Street Languages team during this time has brought delight to my day. I am completing a 10 day course, which is 3 hours per day. This has been enough time for me to concentrate and learn, and has allowed be to build on what I have learned each day. I recently took a French course with Bond Street Languages. The course was for five days - 8 hours a day! I've done many language courses over the years and this was easily the best course I've ever done. It improved my French immensely. Everyone was extremely friendly and the course was extremely relaxed. The classes took place not just in the classroom, but outside too in a variety of nice cafes in London. Above all though the service is extremely professional. A personalised service to help you get exactly what you want from your language learning experience.

I spent one week being taught French by Mireille and Raphael, and they were patient, effective and did not waste a single second. Though the eight hour day seemed daunting, at no point did it drag on, and my speaking, grammar, listening and other skills greatly improved. I studied Spanish intensively at BSL for 2 weeks and managed to get from nearly zero to basic conversational level in that time! I will wholeheartedly recommend BSL to anyone that is serious about learning a language effectively and quickly. The program was completely tailored to my learning speed and interests, and the teachers (I had four that rotated) were very adaptable and creative in their instruction. They adjusted their methods based on learning mediums that work best for me. In my case, they also focused on getting me to communicate quickly (written and spoken) so they didn’t dwell on being exactly accurate, which was great. The subjects/topics we used were entirely up to me to decide, whether it was work or art or culture, which enabled me to learn to communicate about things that are relevant to my own life. The teachers are very energetic and fun to work with as well. The teachers will push you hard and you’ll learn more than you would imagine!

I have just completed a 5 day intensive Spanish course with BSL, starting from scratch and nervous even to say 'Hola'...my two lovely teachers were SO patient with me and we laughed a lot! The classes were fully tailored to my individual need and learning style...a wide variety of learning materials were used and the lessons took place in cafes, shops, art galleries and auction houses!! I learnt a tremendous amount and feel confident to now have a proper conversation! I recently undertook a 2 week intensive French course to improve my very basic French quickly for my job. I found Bond Street Languages to be very professional. Ana happily talked me through their style and talked through my requirements a couple of times whilst I figured out which course was the best option to meet my needs - giving me confidence in what to expect before I got to class. The days were spent in their office space Bond Street but also out and about. Coffee breaks and lunch were spent with tutors who continued to immerse you in the language. So much so that you might find yourself talking French accidentally when ordering your coffee. Each day was split between two tutors, so even if you are getting tired, your tutors are not. Mireille, Raphael, Christiane were all great and each came with their own unique and engaging style. You are asked to prepare a brief on yourself before you start - what you are looking for, types of conversations you need to have in French, what themes you need to cover, generally who you are and what interests you etc - armed with this information, the tutors tailor their programme of lessons to you. Ranging from essential grammar, but also well researched podcasts, articles, written activities, games all covering the subjects and vocab you will need. All the teachers had a good sense of humour and were at all times, encouraging and fun to be around. Essential for such an intensive programme. In summary, I went from very basic french ability to beginning intermediate level in 2 weeks. To put that into context, day one- struggling to introduce myself and day 10- reading full articles in French in a matter of minutes and exchanging ideas and thoughts on topical political issues. Albeit, not fluently, but enough to be understood and enough to give me the confidence that I will be able to follow and engage in meetings for work. Overall I found Bond Street Languages to be exactly what I needed. The kickstart I needed (and Ana will tell you, this is only the start you have to maintain your interest beyond the course!) and confidence to know that learning another language is entirely possible with the right support. Very sad to have finished my last session with BSL! I had an incredible time with my tutors and the seemingly impossible task of learning a language has been made to seem very possible and dare I say it, easy! Ana (the boss) was so kind and accommodating to me and the atmosphere she helped to create was a big part of what made me feel comfortable speaking German even when I didn’t know half of what I wanted to say! I’m shocked at my own progress thinking back to my first day, nodding at my tutor as I thought to myself “I have no idea what she’s saying”, to being able to have a fairly full conversation with her on my last day, incorporating present, past and future tenses! I used to have a group class of about 15 lessons in two semesters at the weekly school in the university. But one-on-one is actually expensive, the province. Before I want to evening group ( 5-7ppl) at UCL with a linguistic teacher from St Petersburg for 20 class, each is 2h. However, I think my class with Julia of 16 * 4 hours is Approx the progress of 3 years at group class. And here's why: I speaks Chinese and English, and Russian is quite different from both languages and is known for super complicated grammar and you definitely need one-to-one to explain that. My issue with group class is that I often need to wait for those who are Slower and as the grammatical part sink in, 70% of the class is explaining to those slower people what we already know, and result in a big waste of time. BSL provides a truly tailored service in terms of the content, pace and schedule. In results, my four hour here is much more joyful than the 2 h group class. At the start of the course, your teacher and Ana will let you know the level you will be achieved after the class, and in my case it has been way exceeding the level they projected: I am now able to have a Russian conversation with a friend to discuss family, my background.etc and I am pretty comfortable in reading and analysing sentence. More importantly, BSL gives me a solid foundation in this language, as we already went over most grammar part, and I am confident to do more self-learning. However, if you want to achieve the maximum, I would recommend you to: 1) Do all homework, and communicatingculture your work load with your teacher. When I have a better schedule, I would ask more from the teacher. 2) If you think for one week or two, you are super busy with work/school, I would rather delay.
