Master Sam is very in tune with the students , he saw how sensitive my youngest is and he has been working in building his confidence while developing his taekwondo skills. My son progressed fast into his yellow belt and his confidence is visible. I love the respect and manners he instils in the students while teaching them how to be partners and friends who are caring towards eachother. Plus it is really affordable and a safe environment for my boys .

Karoon Taekwondo Academy is a really fantastic, friendly and fun club - it's been just over 5 months since I joined the club, and I've made so much progress and had lots of fun! Each classes are challenging and very rewarding. With the help of Master Sammy, who is extremely passionate and committed to helping every club members, I've been able to improve my flexibility, strength, stamina and techniques. Master Sammy is very knowledgeable about Taekwondo, and he will help you progress to your next level and achieve your goals. Thank you so much for all your help Master Sammy. I've been training at Karoon Taekwondo for 1 year and 6 months and so far it's great. i love the full contact classes and how it helps me to gain confidence and learn self defence. before i started to train here i didn't have mutch confidence but now i do. There is a very good and supportive environment and the classes and people who attend are so helpful. Especially Master Sammy he is a great Master and has taught me a lot of technique. Classes are on Thursday in the boxing gym.

All four of us attend this club as a family. Our children are aged 6 and 9. Our son is especially shy and lacks confidence, it's amazing to see the difference in our son already. Master Sammy is a great role model for children. He is firm but not overly so which means the club is friendly. Discipline and respect are taught through out in a kind manner. The children are encouraged to be themselves, to work hard and to challenge themselves. In terms of us, good accessible classes where the students also help you to get better. You don't need any experience to begin and you will be looked after so you don't need to feel silly. Would highly recommend this club. Islington needs more of this especially for children as it encourages good health and a good outlook for themselves. Also great to see such positive adult role models.

This is made possible by the experienced and professional Taekwondo master, Sammy Shajirat. My 3 sons have been atending Taekwondo lessons for over 6 years with Sammy he is an excellent coach and my boys have learned so much in this time. I would recommend to anyone with active boys, the Finsbury Leisure Centre is also very local to us its great to have stuff like this in the area for young children to teenagers and adults. Love the atmosphere and the training in this Dojo. Instructors have been really friendly, they make sure you know what you're doing and feel comfortable, and encourage people to get to know each other. Really good workouts and attention to technique, forcing us to step it up - in a good way!

Karon Taekwondo Club is One of the best jym in all Uk, Sammy started practising Taekwondo from South West Exeter he also practise ABA amtor Boxing with a few high qualified couch in Exeter, I recommend him very strongly!

Im so proud of my son for earning his first belt and I thank you Sammi for helping my son to overcome his shyness, self belief and discipline. I work in sobell leisure centre as a ice skating assistant and a kids activity instructor. They have tought me a few lessons now as i used to do thai kwon do when i was younger and my i wanted to get them to teach my child but wanted to test it first to make sure she will like it and this is the best martial arts group i have come accrossed in terms of teaching disicipline and the teacher has a 6th dan degree which i havnt come accross anyone higher in north london. They are really good with all ages and it feels more like a family comunity than a class. I definately reccomened for anyone who wants to start a martial arts or get there children into it. Full contact self defense for adults if you just want to learn how to not get attacked or mugged living in london. For all ages and stages as i said earlier. Its a fun class and i have learned so much since i have started. I plan on finishing the class until i have reached black belt and the teacher is due credit for this
