I saw the ad of this school on Facebook and thought to give it a try. London school of beauty is a place where students learn and apply their learning in a salon which is downstairs in their school which offers some amazing discounted treatment. Their customer care and skills are amazing. All phone calls will be answered promptly and they will call you back if you could not reach them without even leaving a voice mail which is really amazing! I have been to this place like 4 times so far and has tried their different facials, pedicure, waxing in which I love the deep cleansing facial so far which cost me only £20. The only downside are their bathrooms which are heavily used, small and can be cleaned and improved From the receptionist Ruby, who is always welcoming, chatty and sweet, their tutors and Lauren, who do sometimes email for model appointments, are all welcoming and warm. Will I go again? Absolutely!

Brilliant place to study. I had Krisztina as a tutor - she was such a great teacher. The rest of the team were so helpful too. It's a really supportive, professional place to study with really high standards. I would recommend it to anyone and I have signed up to do my level 4 here too.

I had a good experience at this college. Rachel the teacher was very knowledgeable and patient with the whole class. We were given freedom to ask questions and have discussions about skin outside the syllabus The only issue I had was that microdermabrasion isn’t part of their curriculum for the level 2 and 3 3 combined facial course and they have other treatments that aren’t as popular on the market in their curriculum. But other than that I enjoyed, I leaned a lot and met some good people

I had a very positive experience at the college which was largely down to the excellent tutoring from Carol Doherty. Great experience and curriculum. Integrated clinical practice on clients was extremely useful. Studied the level 2/3 facial and skincare and found the course length and workload very practical considering the time commitment and the information learned. Rachel was my tutor and you could tell she cares about teaching not only the required material, but also doing extra work to ensure we were taught material we personally wanted to learn about as well. Great school, great experience, and overall really great admin team as well.

I completed the Combined Level 2 Skincare and Facials and Level 3 Electrotherapy, Level 3 A&P followed by Level 4 Laser and IPL (VTCT) Qualification with LSBM, and it Was a great experience and i also got to meet some amazing women.The level of support and great communication, helps you to get through especially when doing the combined courses as it can be intense. Lauren,Sana and Ruby were truly amazing ladies, always answering any questions I had. Rachel and Elista are the best teachers , and teach with so much passion, knowledge and experience making you enjoy the course. The opportunity to gain experience in the salon towards the end of the qualification, is a great addition as it helps to boost confidence and apply everything that you have been taught.

I have just completed my MASA Diploma 10-week course and I loved every minute of it! I loved that my teachers were experienced and well connected freelance makeup artists. I especially enjoyed the bald caps portion of the course as it really allowed me to be as creative as possible and focus on just makeup. I recently completed the VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy course at LSBM and am already eagerly waiting to return in September for the level 3 course. My tutors, Alison and Jane, are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. They invest so much of their time in preparing the theory and practical aspects of the course and do an amazing job at teaching a huge amount of information over an intense course. Alison and Jane teach with the highest standards and expectations in mind and ensure that only quality treatments take place in the classroom and salon. Not only have they shaped me as a Beauty Therapist through their role as tutors, they’ve shared an abundance of advice, support and industry experience to help me to acquire a job a week out of training with a leading spa company! Lauren in the office is also super friendly and supportive getting to know each student on a first name basis and always happy to help. The ladies on the ground make this school an absolute success and I would recommend to anyone, even if just for the pleasure of being taught by such superb women!

This is the best beauty school ever! Teachers and all who works in there are very humble, knowledgeable and supportive. They work very hard to make sure that every student gets sufficient support for their studying. Great teaching! I had Alison Haynes as my tutor on my 6 week intense course and she was brilliant. I feel confident in my field and extremely happy I decided to study here. The only thing that lets the school down a bit is the lack of resources when doing beauty treatments, I expected there would be moreover a variety of products to choose from and more quantities of them. This did not hinder my learning though, would definitely recommend!

I've studied my level 2 at the London School of Beauty and make up about 9 years ago and came back in January to do my level 3. I ABSOLUTELY loved it. I thought it would be hard for me specially because I never practiced anything or worked in those 9 years but my tutor Jane was so lovely, very supportive and very encouraging, she helped me all the way. I did full time level 3 and she was my tutor for all the modules except for anatomy and physiology, she is amazing!! All the staff from the office are very lovely and helpful too. Lauren and Courtney were always there If I needed any information or guidance about school stuff and always had a lovely smile on. Im still in touch with the other girls who I was studying with, We were like a little family. I really enjoyed my time there.. I have just successfully completed the masa 10 week course and I can safely say it was well worth every penny! I did the MASA 8 makeup course from LSBM. Coming to London was an experience in itself but, studying at this school made it all the more worth it. This school has everything for makeup enthusiasts , they have makeup products from almost every brand they teach you with such love and care. I have recently finished my Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma at LSBM and cannot recommend enough! My tutors, Alison and Jane, were fantastic. With so much knowledge and experience they were able to guide us and give advice and tips from their own personal experience in the industry. They were always available to help and their support helped boost self-confidence and knowledge of the treatments included in the course! The commercial salon is an element of the school which cannot go unmentioned. I think this is a vital part of what makes the school so successful in developing your skills as a therapist. Since completing my Level 2 diploma I have gone on to find employment almost immediately at a salon local to me and can honestly say that having that experience in the college salon has made all the difference. From the second I first walked through the doors I felt extremely welcomed and valued. I have been a client at the school for about 6 months now and a regular as I book 1-2 treatments a week. I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis which means I need very understanding and patient therapists. I have not been disappointed even once coming to the school and being treated by the students or the professionals. The level of client care is outstanding from start to finish, you're made to feel like a VIP. What is lovely is the way the students talk about the school as a place to learn, they have all had great things to say and that really comes across in their attitude and the atmosphere in the salon. Nothing is too much trouble and the teachers always treat the students with respect and are so professional. I felt compelled to write a review as I had one of the best Aromatherapy massages I've ever had and with my disability I have many and have paid for some very expensive sub standard massages elsewhere but my treatment yesterday was outstanding. Thank you. What a credit to your school the young lady was (I think her name was Jess) I don't want to recommend the salon too highly or I'll struggle to get an appointment but the students and teachers deserve the recognition. Well done to you all and thank you for always looking after me. I have done first my NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapist course with the most amazing teacher ever - Jane and after I finished I decided I will do at the same school also my Nvq Level 4 which it was with another amazing teacher - Ellie. People here are very nice, knowledgeable and passionate about what they are doing giving to the students all the support they need and also courage for the next steps in their career. You can even work for them because they have a beautiful spa&salon, amazing!!! After 1 month I finished my last course here I managed to find a really nice space to rent in Richmond so now I can be my own boss and do amazing treatments in a professional environment. I took my friend here for some pampering and I must say we were not disappointed! The Scrub and Wrap treatment was very relaxing and the products smelt amazing. The therapist did a good job and she was very friendly. We afterwards enjoyed the spa area before having our facials. The spa is small and not all the saunas were working which was disappointed. Im from the island of Antigua and Barbuda and I came all the way to London to study the Level 2 Beauty Therapy at LSBM and it was absolutely amazing. The staff and instructors were very helpful and welcoming. It’s a very clean and safe environment as well. I was a full time student and the course was pretty intense but with proper time management and following keenly to the instructors instructions I was able to complete it. My experience at the London school has been great all through, I have done both my level 2 and 3 at the school and I have already enrolled for my Level 4! As an international student, the application process was made easy by Lauren Hemsley,who was extremely helpful over the phone , and really went out of her way to get me as much information as I needed about the courses offered at the school. The courses are pretty intense,and require a lot of commitment, but the lecturers were very thorough and gave us all the reading material we needed. Jane Porbitts , who was our level 3 lecturer really went out of her way with the students, her teaching method is good, and she gave us a lot of revision recaps after every lecture to help us remember what she had taught. My experience overall at the school was amazing , value for money and I would study here again.

I studied firstly at another school completing my level 2 and decided to try out LSBM to complete my level 3 after being recommended by a couple of friends. there was NO COMPARISON. I was worried about it a lot but then I passed all the tests and assessments. I have to thanks for my tutor, Jane for all the supports. I've had the pleasure of venturing to the London School of Beauty and Makeup for multiple treatments, ranging from Massage to Body Electrotherapy. After today I felt it was only right that I leave a review; I went in for a Swedish Massage after tweaking my back over the weekend and I was handled with extreme care and attention. Right from the start during my consultation through to some recommendations I received afterwards, everything was so lovely and I was pleased to be in the very capable hands of Maggie. As per her recommendation I will be back again next week to see her for another massage and I can't wait! Today I experienced my first Hot Stone Massage at lSBM with trainee therapist Sam. Located in central london, the treatment room was painted tastefully with gentle pipe music playing. After an assessment to explore my needs, Sam explained what she was doing with the stones. Her touch and pressure when massaging were perfect for me. She checked in to see if it felt OK. I felt very safe and relaxed with Sam. I would recommend her as her enthusiasm for her work was apparent in her conversation and evident in the way I felt after my treatment. After the session, she took me outside, gave me a drink of water and explained how I ought to self care this evening. The assessor, Alison, also another lovely member of the team, spoke to Sam with respect, which I found kind and encouraging. I will definitely go back to this training school for treatments and spread the word.

Very mixed opinion as I have been going to the spa for various treatments : massages, facials, nails, eyebrow threading... I have been very pleased with both the students and professionals who did my treatments, even though I received different versions of each treatment with different therapists which I found weird. They were very customer focused, the place is nice and clean. My main issue was the booking process. Although they were trying to accommodate my requests, there is a couple of occasions where they never answered to me or booked a slot which I hadn't agreed to and then called me to ask why I wasn't there! Also I tried to book treatments in the spa twice but they cancelled, first time they said they were waiting for products to be delivered and second time that there was a technical issue. Speaking to student therapists they told me it wasn't true and students were simply doing classes in the spa at the moment! I tried to book a last treatment before my holidays but they never answered my email unfortunately. So overall, well worth the price as I really liked the treatments but you have to cope with the booking...

I've just finished my Level 2 VTCT Saturday Beauty Therapy course & I'd like to add my bit of review here. This part time course is very intense so please BE PREPARED to put in the hours for theory & practical exams & coursework on top of it. The building itself is huge & spacious & I lost count of how many rooms it has. Now on to the teaching standards: the biggest thing I've learnt about the college is that the teachers set the bar high for the students & they fiercely uphold the reputation of the school. I personally will remain eternally indebted to my teacher Alison Haynes for simply pushing me to complete the course, whilst also pushing me into performing to my highest capabilities. I don't come from a beauty background, so you can imagine it wasn't easy for me but Alison pulled me up to standard. I do not think I would have got there if I didn't have such a dedicated teacher. I was given support all the way from the practicals in class, to the written paperwork I had to complete. Impressively, Alison was a pro in every module she taught me, I only had a different teacher for the make-up module. For make-up, my teacher Dan Dandel was also very clear with his instructions and he did not accept my initial sub-standard performance - Dan is a make up artist to celebrities and I can see why. His teachings are gold. I know how lucky I was to have these 2 teachers and my experience here has taught me that the school hires teachers with serious, raw talent. If I could go back in time I would pick this college all over again: I am a truly satisfied student - well done LSBM.

I have recently completed the CIBTAC/CIDESCO course. This is a very intense course to do in a short amount of time but with the help from my amazing tutors, Trisha and Juanita, it was all possible. They would always give their support and undivided attention and really help you individually to work on your areas of weakness to bring out the best beauty therapist within. All in all, I enjoyed my experience at LSBM and will definitely be back to do more courses.

I completed my advanced Diploma in MASA make up and hair in March this year after three months and cannot recommend this school highly enough. It is forward thinking, creative & fun and once qualified very supportive in your journey as you venture out into scary world of being an MUA. Lots of opportunities to apply to be an assistant and they have recently launched masterclasses specialising in areas of make up that maybe you need more time on eg Halloween. The course offers training in most aspects of make up with highly qualified and inspiring teachers who are also make up artists. I did all three modules and wish there were more I could do!

Indian Head Massage- the student providing the service was sweet but I did not find this treatment beneficial for me as it triggered neck and head pain. The treatment itself I found was not that great as it felt that I was primarily just having oil applied with light pressure even thought I had requested firm pressure. I did appreciate management's prompt response after I expressed concern the following day and I would be keen on revisiting for other treatments. I don't think I would return for a head massage, but I would willing to try other services before making up my mind

Completed the CIBTAC, CIDESCO and Spa Diploma at the London School of Beauty with Trisha Causon and Elitsa Toneva, who were both highly knowledgeable in their fields. Trisha is also a CIDESCO examiner and former salon owner so is highly experienced to prepare students for their exams, she dedicates all her time, energy and care to this. Course was wonderfully international during my time (with students from Sweden, Morocco, Colombia and the United States) and incredibly intensive (one year full-time). Management changed since the start of my course with some staff departures so make sure any qualification, price, pace, class size or curriculum changes are right for you.

This is the most amazing place ever! I have had a number of treatments with the CIBTAC group all of them perfect which cannot be faulted in any way at all. The receptionists are friendly and can't do enough for you. You are made welcome from the moment you walk through the door to the second you leave. All the therapists take time to personalise your treatment, they really care about what they are doing and I always walk out walking on cloud 9. If this was heaven I couldn't be happier! SHOUT OUT TO JUANITA AND TRISH! Where do I begin? Well I've just finished my year long course doing my Cidesco recently with Juanita (who unfortunately is no longer there) and Trisha (thank god she is still there). I've had the absolute best experience of school there in one year than I've had in all my years through education. I was an international student from America who had one difficult year away from home but these women were not only teachers they created the sense of family that I needed through my hard times. Coming to school was an absolute pleasure everyday ( which is something I never thought I'd say ha.) The curriculum was broken down in a very organized and precise way it made it very easy to learn. The days were filled with lots of work and laughter. If you chose to do Cidesco prepare yourself it is alot of hard work but it is so worth it. Put your all in from day one and the rest of the ride will be smooth. Especially when you have Trish. I promise you she will get you through anything and everything. It goes to show when someone Is passionate about what they do, you can see it through their teaching and how they are with their students. Trish is an absolute gem and the glue that held us together so if you get her you won't be disappointed. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Trisha, I've never felt so prepared to take on life after graduation. It ALSO goes to show people can really make an impact and some are truly irreplaceable. Shout out to Courtney and Lauren who are the sweetest office girls. You are always greeted with a warm smile and welcome upon arrival to school. They are very helpful in getting information from or anything else you might need. I suffer with a lot of discomfort and aches & pains in my back. So a friend suggested I visit your college and try a hot stone massage. On arrival I was feeling a little apprehensive but I was put straight to ease by a wonderful, smartly presented therapist who gave me an in-depth consultation and explained the whole procedure. I had a brilliant experience with Ruby for eyebrow threading. She was very attentive and careful, it was the first time I'd been asked detailed questions about my eyebrows (in all my 20 years of having them threaded) and certainly the first time they had been measured and analysed. I've spent £2.50 on my eyebrows at local ethnic salons, up to £25 at Vaishalys in central London (which was a total waste of time and money) but this was better value and a much better experience in every way. I will be returning for eyebrow treatments and exploring what else they have to offer. Highly recommended.
