Our son went to this nursery since 11-19 months and we felt that he was in great hands. Montessori methodology is actually applied since early age and all professionals are fantastic. Our son loved the food and snacks and they were healthy and diverse.

MGN is a really special place and we are so happy we found it. Our boy was there for over a year and he flourished under their care. It is the only nursery setting we found where the staff seemed really exceptional -- meeting each child's individual needs and tailoring their guidance to the person, not a standard. A gentle atmosphere, fun, engaging, respectful. We felt they nurtured a human being, not skills (though these came along too). A holistic approach that really really works.
Our only sadness was that because of the pandemic, their outings and off-site visits were curtailed and for an older child there is simply not adequate outside space for exercise and play. If you have a small child or if there's not a global pandemic (so they can do their regular outings), don't hesitate about choosing this gem of a nursery.

Montessori Garden Nursery creates such a collegial, almost family-like dynamic between teachers, children and parents. This sense of shared responsibility makes me feel as a parent that my child is receiving the best possible care - the teachers are as invested in my child's development as we as parents might be. Moreover, child development includes socialisation with others and the notion of being a 'good citizen of the classroom'; self care and care for others is emphasised. As parents then, the sense of shared responsibility also means that we come to view the nursery less as a service provider, and more as a partner. The blurred lines can be productive, as above, but if you are searching for a 'business-customer' relationship (understandable given the costs involved), this was not our experience. Rather, we felt part of the school and our child loved to go every morning without fail!

Wonderful nursery with caring teachers and great activities. I can't recommend it highly enough. I looked at a lot of nurseries and knew immediately that this one was right for us. Our son learned so much from his time here and just loved it. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff there.

Our daughter loves this Montessori! The staff are fantastic - warm, positive, energetic. I feel they put so much effort in to make it a happy (very kind during settling in/potty training) and stimulating (Hampstead heath visits, playground visits, special monthly music). Highly recommend!
