My son was struggling in GCSE Spanish. I called Vamos and they advised that me to enrol him in an evening Spanish course to help him along. Russell was extremely helpful. My son loved the course and is showing an improvement in his GCSE Spanish.

I have been studying Spanish with Vamos for more than three years and it has been a lot of fun, as well as a great learning experience.
The teachers are welcoming and enthusiastic and the classes run all year round. You sign up to ten classes at a time, so it’s very flexible. All the classes are run online at present and are a great mix of Spanish conversation, learning activities and a gradual progression in the grammar.
There is a real community feel with extra activities on offer, including a film club, Spanish cooking classes and additional free conversation classes once a month.
I have found Vamos to be a great place to learn Spanish.

I started learning with Spanish with Vamos nearly 5 years ago. What a journey it has been and quite literally! I have attended classroom classes, courses away in Valencia, weekend courses focussed on thematic content, free monthly conversation classes and social events.
All the courses are very well structured and classes are interactive. Plenty of conversation as well as audio and video content to keep you interested. Teachers adjust the pace of the lessons to match the level of the class and there is regular homework of course!
The institute is also very flexible in accommodating students who may be juggling classes with work and personal commitments. You can attend catchup classes if you happen miss any. If you want to take a break between levels you can rejoin a few months later at the right level and if you find the classes too easy or too hard you can easily switch classes.
Definitely recommend irrespective what your current level of Spanish is - you can join at a level appropriate for you.

I began studying Spanish with Vamos as a complete beginner in March and I think it has been the best decision I have ever made. The classes are a great mix of written and spoken Spanish and even the grammar is explained in a palatable way! The two teachers I have had are so friendly, enthusiastic and above all patient! Following each class you are sent resumes of what was covered by email which are extremely useful as are the online resources on the Vamos website. The lockdown began on 23rd March and ever since then the classes have been online with Zoom which has worked very well - you really don't feel at a disadvantage not being in a classroom. I would recommend Vamos to anybody studying Spanish at any level - it's the best part of the week!

I joined Vamos two months ago and I couldn't recommend the classes enough! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of classes at different levels being offered, especially in the higher levels since I couldn't find a C2 group class anywhere else. The classes are really fun and interactive, and the school provides you with all of the books and materials you need. The classes are held totally in Spanish and there's loads of opportunity to practice speaking even over Zoom through the use of smaller breakout groups. My teacher Andrea is fantastic. She explains things clearly and makes the lessons really engaging. Vamos offers loads of social activities too, including free monthly conversation classes, which are a great way of getting to know people outside of your own class. I only wish I'd found Vamos sooner!

I would strongly recommend studying Spanish with Vamos.
I have completed several courses - some in person and some online - with Vamos all with the wonderful Andrea as my teacher.
I have really enjoyed the varied lessons involving discussion, reading, videos, and grammar exercises across a range of topics and can see the improvement in all aspects of my Spanish. I have enjoyed learning from Andrea, but also learning with some great classmates always helping each other out - a great, exciting way to learn.
Having a fixed slot in my diary every week and some homework to do in between each session (not too much, not too little) has helped me hold myself to account and keep improving in my own time.
As above, if you're looking for an in person course in central London or online course I would strongly reccomend.

I’ve been going to Vamos for about 3 years now and it’s been great. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to take their Spanish to the next level.
I joined at B2 Level 11 and have recently just completed C2 Level 20 – which I’m very pleased with. The classes are fun and keep me coming back for more. They’ve been over Zoom during Covid – and it works really well and keeps that same classroom vibe. I’ve had two teachers (Andrea and Ruth) and both have been really positive and engaging and make the classes a fun experience. The exercises are good and feel effective and efficient, and I particularly like having to watch a Spanish film for homework. 😊

I've been learning Spanish with Vamos for almost a year now, and am absolutely LOVING it! I don't usually get on well with classroom-based learning, but Vamos is an exception. The course materials are superb, the teachers are really engaging and friendly, the class sizes just right to allow for focused learning, and the school has a great attitude towards flexible learning. If you can't make a class, you can attend a catch up. If you want extra tuition, you can go to an additional conversation class at no extra cost. You can attend a tapas night, or a quiz night. Or you can go to Valencia with them and experience the language first-hand. I attended a weekend course over the summer, and had the most amazing time. I've never enjoyed learning a language as much as I have at Vamos, and am so happy to be part of the family! :-) I couldn't recommend Vamos more highly.

I have been studying Spanish a bit more than one year at Vamos. Classes are well structured and enjoyable - fun to learn there. Teachers are committed and class size is usually small. Free catch-up classes are available which come on handy when due to other commitments (work/holidays), it is not possible to attend the regular class.
Also, at the end of each month free conversation classes are provided for each level, which I found a really good opportunity to practice conversations in Spanish and helped improve my confidence speaking in Spanish. I definitely can recommend this school, only good experience so far.

Great Spanish school in London.
I started studying Spanish with Vamos 3 years ago with no prior knowledge. I've enjoyed every minute, and am very happy with the progress I've made. The teachers are fantastic and make the classes great fun with a variety of exercises. I've had lessons with several different teachers while at Vamos and have been impressed with them all. Apart from the teaching aspect, Vamos organises many other activities such as free conversation classes, tapas evenings, trips to Spain, cinema events etc.. I will definitely continue to study with Vamos. I would highly recommend Vamos to anyone wanting to learn or improve their Spanish in a fun environment.

I started learning Spanish at Vamos at Level 3 and am just about to start Level 4. The teachers are great and the lessons are varied with a mixture of structured learning and plenty of time to practice speaking Spanish. Vamos also go the extra mile to accommodate you and you can always attend catch up classes on different days if you miss a lesson for any reason. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and the pace of each lesson is geared to the students. There is also a FREE class at the end of every month, followed by a tapas social for those who are interested. If you want to learn Spanish in London this is the best place to do so. Highly recommend it!

I started studying with Vamos last September in Level 1 and am just about to start Level 6. I chose Vamos as it was recommended by a friend and the evening classes were ideal to attend after work.
My teacher is Andrea and she is great - she is patient and gets the whole class involved. The classes are really fun and engaging, with a fun atmosphere whilst learning - we do a mix of conversation activities, as well as grammar and listening activities. Class sizes are good so you can build a rapport with the group and learn in a relaxed environment. All materials for the class are provided.
Since joining, my Spanish has come a long way and I am really enjoying learning the language. I would definitely recommend the school to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish.

I have been studying with Vamos for over a year. I really like the style of teaching. I have met and been taught by various teachers (through catch ups and additional speaking classes) and although most are great, Vanessa and Tatiana have been particularly good. They are really passionate about teaching. Their lessons are always engaging and enjoyable to attend. The admin staff at the school are very helpful and always willing to accommodate any issues.

I've started learning Spanish nearly 12 months ago from the absolute beginner level, only knowing a few words before joining the course. At the beginning I have struggled a bit with vocabulary and confidence to speak, but having battled through this initial hurdle, I have slowly and gradually discovered my passion for learning Spanish language and culture.
School itself is really good! All the teachers are friendly and very dedicated, groups are usually quite small, which ensures you get a lot of teacher's attention. Free catch-up classes are available if you miss a lesson and there is an email summary sent to you after every lesson, which I think is absolutely brilliant!
Vamos doesn't only offer language teaching platform, but is a perfect place to meet nice people and socialize, for which there are regular and frequent opportunities. Free monthly conversation classes followed by tapas & drinks, Spanish movie nights or paella cooking classes really helped my Spanish learning and improved confidence using this language.
It's safe to say that at Vamos you'll find more than just a language course. You will become part of the big Vamos Familia! :-)
I highly recommend Vamos!

I've been learning Spanish at Vamos for over a year now and have progressed so much thanks to my teacher, Andrea. Starting at level 1 and no experience of Spanish at all, I'm now up to level 7 and confident when I travel to Spanish-speaking countries. The levels are comprehensive, lessons are varied and the school makes a huge effort to help you with catch-up classes if you miss a lesson. There are also plenty of social events like cooking classes, cinema nights and free conversation classes. I would recommend Vamos to anyone looking to learn Spanish and would especially recommend Andrea.

I am a regular student at Vamos (beginner, A1) and recently attended the week long conversation course in the Vamos Valencia. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! Being a beginner, I had very little confidence in my ability to speak but I was seeing myself clearly improve throughout the course. The course was well structured, with classes in the morning and activities planned in the afternoon/evenings. I also got to meet some very cool new people in my class! The instructors - Amaya and Sarah - were both fantastic - very patient and knowledgeable. They often took the time to explain concepts even if it wasn't strictly part of the course material.

I've been studying Spanish at Vamos now for 40 weeks, I started at level 2 and am about to start level 6. The school is well run and the teachers are native Spanish speakers and very good at making the classes interesting and engaging.
The facilities at the Holborn building are good (its an English school by day).
There are 12 levels each with 20 hours of classes. They also do a useful free conversation class on the last Friday of the month which is a nice touch.
I've recommended the school already to a number of friends. If you are looking for somewhere in central London to learn Spanish in the evenings definitely give Vamos a try.
J. C.
I've been studying at Vamos for about 6 months, joining at B1 level (Level 7), having had previous experience of the language. The quality of teaching is excellent, and the classes are just the right size to get a decent amount of attention, while having a good mix of other students to work with. There is a great balance of grammar, conversation and real life situations. The free monthly conversation class is also a really good way to improve natural spoken Spanish, and the more mixed groups in these sessions allow you to work with different students and teachers. I'd highly recommend Vamos to those who just want to get started in Spanish, and to those who already have some experience. Can't fault it!

I am completing level 4 with Vamos this week. It's been an absolute pleasure so far; small class size, great teacher (credits for Tatiana!) and having enough flexibility when needed when work or travel gets in the way.
Big plus are the free conversation classes and many social activities. I've done some tapas evenings and a Spanish wine tasting afternoon so far, all were fun and a great way to meet new people.
I've also spent three days at the school in Valencia, which was a really great catch up on my A1. Besides the time in the classroom, there were learning activities across the city and a visit to the beautiful mercado. The teachers give us a decent introduction to the city and a list of fantastic restaurants, upcoming neighbourhoods and great bars to fill our spare time with.

I started attending Vamos around 18 months ago and have been delighted with the courses and the teaching at the school. I will start my 8th level soon and have completed 140 hours with the school and plan to continue on too! I'm extremely pleased to have been able to have the same tutor for all my lessons and on the odd occasion I haven't been able to attend, Vamos have made it easy to arrange catch up classes by dropping in to the appropriate lesson another time. The monthly conversation class is an excellent opportunity to pick up some extra speaking skills too; I went to the December class and picked up loads of Christmas vocabulary which was very useful! I now visit Spain a few times each year and can see that my ability is quickly improving. Given that I started with almost nothing and found languages really hard when I was at school, I'm very pleased with Vamos and the progress they're helping me to make.

It's been almost three years now that I have been studying at Vamos and I just love it! I feel so lucky that I found a really good school with amazing lessons and great teachers. I started from level 1 with the incredible and super Alberto and now I am about to start level 13. When I started, I was not too sure how lessons would go and if I had continued and now... Spanish classes are just so important and this is not only because I want to improve my language skills, but even because I do enjoy feeling part of the Vamos community! The teachers are really good, all with different teaching approaches and with amazing personalities and what I love most it's that every teacher has such a positive attitude that learning Spanish is just more fun! Moreover, in these difficult times of incertitude due to the Coronavirus and the lockdown limitations, Vamos had added so many extra social activities online like the Cine Club with the super artistic director Enric , and the cooking classes from the kitchen of the creative and chatty Natalia and even more, I had the certitude that Vamos is just unique for the added value that give to all its students and for the incredible and warm experience offered. Learning Spanish becomes then an opportunity to share and create bridges between students, teachers and everyone in the school like the headmaster Russell, the creative mind of the school, or Patricia the SuperWoman multi tasking that always take care of everything . So thank you so much Vamos y for all your hard work and commitment . Behind the scenes there are incredible teachers and professionals that are always ready to help when you need. ¡Muchas gracias a todas y a todos!

I have been learning Spanish with Vamos , on and off for the past 2 years and I was never disappointed. Classes are never the same and lots of fun. Teacher are native speakers and well educated. There are also other fun events to attend every months to keep you motivated, like tapas parties or movie nights. I have just finished level 6 with Amaya , fantastic teacher , that is helping to take Vamos to the next level and moving to Valencia to run the school there. So do not hesitate to book weekly or weekend courses with Vamos and Amaya in Valencia to get the real taste of this beautiful language!

I am more than happy with Vamos as a Spanish institute and my teacher Ana Martin!
I have joined at level 3 and I'm now in level 5 and will definitely continue. The learning environment is amazing while the classes are very interactive and fun!! I would definitely recommend Vamos to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Spanish as well as everything about spanish culture, from food to movies. 5 stars!!!
J. R.
Highly recommend the school.
I am currently in the highest Level 20 course at Vamos and have been with the school since the lowest Level 1 course i.e. circa 400 hours of studying, which probably says enough.
At no point I thought about changing the school or teacher because I knew that I won't find any better one in the UK. Every next level was getting better and better. The teachers in the school are real professionals but also keep a friendly tone so it's easy to learn and even occasionally go out for a drink with your group.
The catch up classes that Vamos offers are quite a unique feature that I haven't seen in any other schools and, being extremely busy with work, I often made use of them.
Overall, I have had a great learning experience and look forward to staying with Vamos and improving my Spanish further. Muchas gracias, Vamos!

I started Vamos spanish classes at level 3 and have just completed level 5. I continue to really enjoy the classes Vamos provides. The teachers are energetic, enthusiastic and very helpful. They are always finding ways to keep the classes interesting. A real advantage are the conversation classes the school holds once a month. A great school with excellent teachers!

When I started looking for a Spanish course to take in London, the number of options available was really daunting. However the Vamos website let me take a test to assess my level, and I spoke to someone at the school who was really helpful in deciding what class I should take.
The classes are really fun and engaging, and two hours passes very quickly. We also have a range of materials given to us, and I find this very helpful in revising the topics we cover. On top of this, the school offers conversation classes, and the chance to attend a different class if you can't make your regular slot.
I would recommend the school to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish.

I completed Level 2 in London and really enjoyed the course - lessons were well structured, enthusiastic teacher and all the students were keen to get involved. Great value for money.
As a result, I signed up for the 1 week Valencia course which I completed last month. I was unfortunate in that we were a class of 3 people of mixed ability - even though the teacher tried his best, it definitely affected our learning. The small class size also meant none of the social activities took place. I would recommend asking Vamos beforehand about your class size/ability, as it might mean you want to request swapping to a week with a larger class, of more equal ability.

I've been attending Vamos for 18 months now and couldn't more highly recommend the school. I started at level 1 with zero knowledge and have to-date progressed to level 6. My teacher, Andrea, is absolutely fantastic and the school has also been a great opportunity to meet a range of new people. I'm learning Spanish as I plan to travel South America in a couple years time, I don't doubt that if I continue my classes with Vamos I'll be very well prepared!

I have been a student at Vamos for 18 months working from level 2 to level 7 and really enjoy the style of teaching at the school. The teachers are friendly and enthusiastic which makes the classes fun and enjoyable so learning is easy. Vamos caters for all levels from absolute beginner to those who want to improve their Spanish. The lessons are always varied with different and interactive styles of teaching. This enables the students to engage with each other which creates a better learning environment.
The other great thing about this Spanish school are the free monthly conversation classes followed by a visit to a local Tapas bar. These give everyone the opportunity to mingle and practice with students of different levels as well as the teachers to put what you have learnt into practice.
I would highly recommend studying at Vamos if you want to learn Spanish!

I’ve been learning Spanish for a year with Vamos starting with zero experience; and absolutely love my classes. At times it does feel a steep learning curve, however it means that you are always progressing and can feel excited about the improvement you are making. The school is very supportive and flexible; whilst my teacher Andrea is wonderful and very committed to her students.

A great place for a Spanish speaker at any level to learn and improve their abilities. I started only about 6 months ago with Vamos as someone with a lot of previous experience learning and studying Spanish, but many years ago. I was able to easily integrate into one of the intermediate classes and it's been tremendously helpful in reminding me of grammar, verb tenses, and vocabulary. For more advanced speakers, the classes also teach you the native ways of speaking and using expressions and slang that you would need if you were ever to live in a Spanish speaking country. What I like is that the classes do more than just teach Spanish 'by the book', but help prepare you for the realities of speaking the language when you leave the classroom.
S. M.
I began my Spanish language adventure with Vamos back in February 2017 and I've increasingly enjoyed my time with the school. In short, the school boasts a fun and engaging environment in which to learn the language.
I also recently went on the 1-week B1 conversation class with Vamos in Valencia, which surpassed my already high expectations. The school in Valencia is headed up by Amaya Alonso (who was my teacher in London) who, along with Sarah Martinez's help, has already created a great atmosphere in which to learn. The course was intense (4 hours a day), however Amaya's energy and passion for teaching always ensured a great class. Outside of the school, the teachers ensure you see the best of Valencia and I look forward to taking another course with them!
The school in London is also fantastic. Russell continuously strives to improve the facilities and is always on the look-out for ways in which he can develop the school further. Outside of the class, Vamos' socials have created a community of like minded individuals.
Overall, I couldn't recommend the school more, however be prepared to engage in the classes!

I've studied Spanish at Vamos for about 5 years and am just about to finish the top level of 20, which takes me to C2. Can't recommend this place highly enough, really well organised, great teachers and a fun atmosphere, with lots of social and cultural activities added into the mix. Even now, with everything on Zoom. Whether you just need some holiday Spanish or are aiming for proficiency, it's worth every penny.
O. V.
I have learnt Spanish with Vamos for three years now and have just finished level 14 (B2). I have had many different teachers all of which were absolutely fantastic in ensuring that classes are interactive, fun and different every week. Everyone is very professional, friendly and very keen on ensuring each student enjoys the classes and is progressing from level to level.
The school is great at organising additional activities to help learn the language: free conversation classes, a Spanish blog with interesting articles and interactive comic strips, trips to Spain, Spanish cinema night, tapas nights, Spanish Christmas party, etc. All this greatly adds to the overall experience.
I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking for Spanish classes in London and I'm definitely continuing with my studies there.
k.
I started learning at Vamos at level 1, and I'm now about to start level 20. I can't think of a better school - great teachers, fun conversational classes (that still cover a lot) and lots of flexibility in terms of choosing when to learn and catching up if you miss a class. Not to mention the social events to offer more opportunities to practice.
Couldn't recommend it more highly!

I've been taking lessons with Vamos since September '15 and have just completed level 3- A1. I can't recommend the school enough, my teacher Amaya is so enthusiastic and full of energy, and she makes our learning so enjoyable. I've made so many lovely friends through the school, and at the end of the month there is a conversation class followed by a tapas evening which is a great way to practice your Spanish, or unwind after a long week. The school is also incredibly organised, emails and enquiries are always dealt with very quickly, and if you miss a class you have the option of signing up to an alternative catch up class. I can't imagine there being a more valuable, fun and vibrant Spanish school in London!
I. S.
I have been studying at Vamos since January, and so far I have completed levels 2 and 3. I do one class a week, on a Monday evening. My teacher Andrea is great, she is really patient and knowledgable. What's great about the school is that the teaching is top quality, but there's also a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They offer a free conversation class on the last Friday of the month, and if you miss a class because of work reasons then you can catch up with another group on a different evening, if there's another group studying at your level - which there usually is, because Vamos seems to be so popular.

I have had two unsuccesful attempts of learning Spanish before joining Vamos just over a year ago. It is a very good school with excellent teachers (special credit to Amaya!), in an excellent location. If you missed a class there is opportunity for catch up classes too. I have met some very nice people here and I continue enjoying my leaning with Vamos, currently at the end of Level 5.
z. y.
Vamos is a great place to study spanish with a lot of fun. I started from Level 1 this March and currently I am in Level 4. Courses are very flexible and you can easily arrange catch-up class for free when you miss a lesson. Teachers are very friendly and they teach spanish in a fun way. Outside class, the school also arrange a variety of activities, such as tapas, paella cooking and films. I definitely would recommend Vamos!
s. r.
I’m just about to start level 20 (c2) with Vamos having just completed level 19 with them through online classes. It’s a great, interactive course with other fluent speakers. We always cover a wide variety of topics through reading, listening, writing and speaking. Highly recommended to those who want to stop their Spanish going rusty!
D. V.
Having started at another school I joined Vamos from level 2 onwards and haven’t looked back. I’m halfway through level 6 and my aim is to continue until level 12.
The classes are fun and interesting and the staff are extremely approachable. There is a really friendly atmosphere around the place, which is probably due to the monthly conversation classes on a Friday night which end up with tapas and a few beers / glasses of wine!
If you’re looking to learn Spanish in a relaxed and fun way I would highly recommend Vamos. Although the classes are well structured you’re not just listening to the teacher and reading from a textbook. Everyone gets involved and it’s all about practicing conversation with other students in the class.
Another bonus is that textbooks are included in the course price (they weren’t in the first school I tried).
D. R.
The courses at Vamos have provided a great mix between conversation practice, learning vocabulary and learning essential grammar. The teachers are very active, friendly and approachable. They also offer a variety of ways to engage, including conversation classes at the end of every month, online material and catch-up classes. The location itself is great though the classrooms could do with tables rather than the seat with mini-desk arrangement.
All in all I'd very much recommend this course and with 3 levels of classes to each European language level you'll easily be able to find the right entry level.

Joining Vamos when I moved to London has been one of the best things that I have done. The class has been something I look forward to a weekly basis. My teacher Amaya structures the classes in a way that is engaging, challenging and fun even after a long day at work. The free monthly conversation classes are a great way to get in some extra practice and the Tapas afterwards is a great opportunity to socialise with your class mates as well. I have done a few "catch up classes" and have been extremely impressed with the high quality of teachers at the school. They have recently rolled out trips to Spain which I am looking forward to going on. If your looking for a Spanish course in Central London, I would look no further.

I cannot rave about Vamos enough. I have been studying there every week for 1.5 years and I still love going to class. The teachers are enthusiastic and patient. As a busy professional, I have found the flexibility that Vamos offers incredibly valuable. The school also bends over backwards to try to enhance the student experience, constantly offering new activities and ways to learn. Best of all, I recently spent a weekend in Madrid and managed to comfortably converse with several locals. It was an amazing feeling.
Vamos has simply got it right - great teachers, great value, great fun.
Ven y prueba Vamos!!!

I have started to learn Spanish with “Vamos” London 10 months ago, on and off, all together 40 lessons,
from level 1 to level 4 and each level has 10 lessons – taking place 10 weeks in a row.
Tough I can’t say I speak fluently Spanish, I can defiantly understand and can manage with basic
conversation.
The methods of Vamos, to open your mouth and start speaking from the very beginning, makes the
whole difference in my opinion.
Vamos teachers are making the lessons very interesting and practical and enjoyable at the same time.
On the admirative side, I have found Vamos very flexible and service oriented. For example, I had to go
abroad for several weeks because of personal matters, Vamos, and especially Rasel, the manager was
supper understanding and patient and allowed me to complete my missing lessons and never charged
extra for that.
I definitely recommend Vamos for Spanish learning in London – “Let’s speak Spanish” is not just their
slogan but a guarantee!

People learn a new language for a variety of reasons but making the time and effort to learn something new is challenging enough when you have to balance the rest of life's everyday activities. You want a course that is going to keep you engaged so that it is not an effort to attend classes after a hard days work or take up part of your weekend.
There are lots of Spanish courses on offer in London but I'm glad I chose Vamos. The people in the class were a lot of fun and the school also offers a variety of added extras like class flexibility, Spanish nights out and even class trips to Spain but ultimately it about learning and f you have a good teacher, you are going to want to keep going to class.
Amaya is everything you want in a teacher. Fun, sprightly, engaging, patient, creative, helpful and loves seeing her students progress from novices to various levels of capability. Whatever your background, capability or sense of humor you can be assured that you will enjoy the class with her and definitely improve your Spanish skills.
It was the best thing I did in preparation for travel abroad and it made such a difference to my travel experience. Gracias mi profesora!

If you are looking to learn Spanish in Central London, Vamos really should be for you. The classes are fun, teachers first class and the location accessible. The school is serious in what it does and effective in delivery all at a competitive price. Customer thoughtfulness is second to none even to the extent of if you miss a class the school will, with a minimum of fuss, deliver you the opportunity of a "catch up class" at the next available opportunity. All in all a school that sets the standard for learning Spanish in Central London.
P. C.
If you want to study Spanish in a funny and entertaining way Vamos is the great school for you.
The teachers are very friendly and helpful and provide us with variety of exercises from speaking and listening to reading and writing. Moreover we are provided with grammar exercise homework each lesson. For those who are more serious about spanish there are extra pieces of homework.
The thing that I like the most about the school is the fact that when I miss one class the director is very helpful and always finds catch up class for me. Then you do not miss any class and you have chance to meet other teachers and students and make nice friendships.
I am also fond of our extra conversational classes, which take part every month. In this school we are studying formal grammar but the teachers provide us also with a little bit of informal but necessary words. Later on when I speak to spanish speakers they are amazed that I know so much.
I would highly recommend this school for its teachers and the location in the centre of London is a huge plus too.

I have just completed my Level 1 Intensive Course for Beginners. I couldn't say more than 'Hola!' in Spanish before and I definitely didn't have any confidence in my ability to converse with others. The course was hard work but highly rewarding, our teacher Lola is amazing! She is really friendly, approachable and made this week really enjoyable to a point where we were having so much fun I forgot I was actually learning Spanish. I now feel more confident to converse with others and I've learnt a good foundation to build upon. I've enjoyed it SO much I've signed up to the Level 2 course. I personally couldn't recommend it more :)

I attended Vamos level 4 Spanish classes delivered Monday evenings by the fantastic Ana Martin. I highly recommend Vamos, Holborn to learn Spanish, it is good value for money and conveniently located. I cannot praise Ana enough as a teacher. She took time to make sure every single student in the classroom understood what was taught and also worked a great deal on our pronounciation. Her extensive, fun weekly emails (sent post-class) covered everything taught in class in addition to some homework. Ana teaches not only the Spanish language but also the Spanish culture which I highly appreciated. Her classes are well structured, comprehensive and engaging. Ana is a vivacious, passionate and fun teacher that brightened up my Mondays and greatly improved my Spanish. She is a 5* teacher and a tribute to Vamos, clearly Vamos focuses on providing the best! @Ana Martin, ya te he dicho que eres una profesora increíble y muy divertida, muchas gracias por todo!

I love learning Spanish with Vamos because my classes are always fun and engaging! My teacher Amaya is so lovely and helpful and has taught me so much! I have just finished my level 3 course and I cannot wait for my level 4 course to start :)
I would really recommend Vamos as a place to learn Spanish!

I've been learning Spanish at Vamos for the past couple of months and it's a great school. The staff and teachers are really friendly and the teaching methods are fun and interesting making the classes enjoyable.
Would definitely recommending learning Spanish at Vamos!

I'm so glad I chose Vamos when deciding to learn Spanish - the classes are very well structured, as well as very fun. The teachers are passionate about our learning and it's a very flexible and friendly school. After over a year learning with Vamos I still look forward to my class every week!

I have enjoyed the experience massively since beginning over a year ago, and now being at level 7.
The course material is engaging, and the teaching is well paced and fun. Our tutor, Elena, is very inspirational and uplifting, which really helps when, on occasions, work has taken its toll.
I cannot recommend Vamos enough. If you are a professional looking for a language bucket list item to tick, then this is for you. Its so hard to find a school aimed at those who have a busy career, plus it has set its price point fairly in its market.
Additionally, the social aspect is extremely well catered for, with many extracurricular activities: trips to Spain, cinema nights, paella cooking classes, conversation classes, and more..
Thanks to you Vamos, you have enriched my life.

Just done my level one Spanish introduction with Vanessa.
It’s hard, but that’s because I’m no longer 15 years old and learning a new language. The classes are great and vary between 14 which is the max to sometimes 4 if everyone is busy. Homework is manageable and relevant.
I’m now signed up for level two which starts in a month and feel I can speak more than I started, still a long way to go though.
Adios

Vamos has been excellent learning curve for me, especially as I have not learned any foreign languages since secondary school. The teaching and level of service is second to none and funnily enough I have learned so much about the English language in general by learning Spanish from scratch.
My teacher Andrea is excellent and as a class we learn and laugh on most lessons (except end of level tests). Russell keeps on top of things and appears from time to time to ensure everyone is ok and to remind us that we are welcome to come on any trips or events held by Vamos. It is a good language school and you do get a sense of belonging as soon as you join.
I initially started to learn Spanish for holidays I had booked in south America and Spain but that was a year ago and I'm still here about to start level 6. I don't intend to leave until I'm fluent!
Highly recommend Vamos!!!

I started at Vamos just under a year ago. Before this, I had just completed Level A2 at a different school but was finding the classes too long (2.5h after a busy day at work.. urgh) and also a little dull.
A friend recommended Vamos to me and I decided to give it a go.. & I’m so glad that I did! The classes are 2h (which I find is ideal) but the biggest difference for me was the style of teaching and the fun and friendly atmosphere in the classroom!
My teacher this past year has been Amaya & she has been fantastic - she is an excellent teacher, always enthusiastic and full of energy. She makes the classes fun and engaging and really knows how to get the best out of her students, so we learn as much as possible.
I’ve just completed my fourth 10-week course at Vamos and I’m about to start Level B2.
Thank you Vamos & thank you Amaya!

I have been with the school with little over a year now and my experience has not been short of impressive. By way of background, I had originally done nearly five years of Spanish in high school but I had lost contact with the language because of a lack of practice. The school puts forward a well-balanced curriculum comprising of all pillars of the Spanish language. While I have seen a strong focus on grammar and sentence structure throughout the various levels at the school, this is not at all at the detriment of listening, reading and writing. The teachers have all been fantastic and passionate about their profession; and very helpful in their commitment to development of the Spanish language. Also, the social aspect is a nice plus.

I've been learning with Vamos for over a year now and have really enjoyed it and improved so much. The teachers are great, the classes are limited in size, and the pace is good. I would definitely recommend it to any one looking to learn Spanish!

I recently attended a 5 day conversation course in Valencia which was amazing. It was the best possible way to put into practice, all the grammar learnt, in a friendly environment. The course is 4 hours a day which sped by because the amazing teacher Amaya, made it fun and interesting. The school is located in a central location and they arranged numerous social activities so boredom was never an option. I definitely left the course , a better linguist, and will certainly return.

Great and fun way to learn Spanish!
Dedicated teachers and small classes so you get a lot of support! Doing the course online is super easy as well and a good alternative when we can't meet in class! Highly recommend Vamos!

Amazing learning experience with Amaya Alonso. Classes never the same and so funny! I never thought that learning Spanish was going to be that easy! Great school with a lot of other activities such as monthly conversation classes and tapas :) love them! Looking forward for more adventures and many thanks to my first teacher Ruth Andres who is such an inspiring person :)!

I had a great time learning Spanish with Amaya Alonso! She is a great teacher, very thorough, dedicated and makes learning Spanish fun and enjoyable. You can be sure that in a class with Amaya you will not only learn a lot, but also have a great time in a friendly and pleasant learning environment!

I have been learning spanish at vamos since level 2 and am up to level 6 now. The classes here are great with a small group of people and my teacher, Ana, makes the class interesting by incoporating games, conversations and fun facts about spain. Vamos is also very flexible in terms of missing classes and tries their best to find you a catch up class.
R. B.
I've had a great experience learning Spanish at Vamos. Teachers are engaging and class size is small. It's great value for your money - especially since they offer monthly free conversation classes.
S. P.
I started learning Spanish in September 2013 (aged 52) and couldn't speak a word but having just completed module 3 I can really appreciate the improvement I have made in just 10 months. I have worked in primary education for almost 30 years so feel I know something about teaching new things to others and can safely say that Vamos seem to have it just right for adults. The classes are instructional and well planned but also fun - they certainly are with Amaya - who has been our lovely, lively tutor for all 3 modules. Vamos do everything they can to support adult learners, appreciating the fact that our busy lives may mean we miss occasional classes so they provide 'catch up' opportunities. There's also the chance for extending the lessons to social experiences through the monthly tapas evening. Hasta pronto chicos!
S. A.
I have just competed Level 3 basic Spanish. The classes are fun, good experience and a great introduction to Spanish for a complete beginner. They are not intimidating and everyone learns at their own pace.
Vamos also offer a once a month free conversation class which is also very helpful for practicing what you have learnt in class.

Having studied at 'Vamos' for over a year, I was initially recommended the school by a colleague.
I've been very happy with the results, since with the use of the ELE course that is taught, I felt I was learning useful Spanish that I could put into practice within just a few weeks.
The quality of the teaching is very high thanks to the fantastic (native Spanish speaking) teachers - classes are very well structured, interactive with a great sense of development thanks to feedback and the supplementary materials provided in class.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to start studying Spanish as a beginner, or improve their skills if they have prior knowledge.
R. S.
I have been taking classes at Vamos for almost a year by now (started at level 4, now at level 7) - and it surely gave the biggest boost to my progress in Spanish. Prior to starting at Vamos I spent about a year of self-study, went through all the usual steps: multiple audio-courses ( Pimsleur and Learning Spanish Like Crazy ) , podcasts (Coffer Break Spanish, News in Slow Spanish), books , etc, etc - but I was feeling a bit lost in the sea of available information and at some point realised that what I was really missing is the systematic approach to learning with native speaking Spanish teachers - you must have speaking practice, no way around it. There is no silver bullet in learning languages - 90% of it is self-study work, you will still need to do lots of it but what Vamos gives you - is systematic, well-tested, long-term study plan, step by step, level by level - implemented by very talented native speaking teaches. Vamos covers all the levels - from total beginners - through advanced level to almost native speakers. There are 20+ levels, each lasting 10 weeks. You tend to join the school and continue going through the 10weeks levels with the same teacher but there are lots of flexibility as well - you can take a break, start over, etc. School also provides lots of informal social activity - monthly tapas meet-ups, movies nights, etc.
Another point is it is very hard to find the motivation if you study on your own - if you study in the small (5-7people) class it helps to keep the motivation up.
I would absolutely recommend to give Vamos a go if you feel like you are losing motivation doing self-study or feeling like you are lost in the ocean of information and looking for systematic guidance.
****
Part two - two years later...
I have finally reached level 20 at Vamos - wow, what a journey it has been.
Here is what I learnt:
1. Learning any language is hard - no matter how many motivation videos you watch which tell you how easy it is - it is still hard work and lots of frustration sometimes.
2. What is super-important to help you keep going - is to have a roadmap - a program which pushes you forward level by level.
3. Vamos program is 20 levels - covers everything it is to know about Spanish language up to C2 proficiency level. It takes 3+ years to finish but stick with it - and you *will speak* Spanish.
4. Don't believe that gramma is not important and you can learn Spanish by watching movies at Netflix all day long. This doesn't work - you have to learn gramma, do exercises, apply the new material in different situations, listen, write essays - but most importantly - you have to speak, speak, speak.
5. At Vamos you get the same teacher which guides you through all the levels ( but of course you have flexibility to change groups or take a break). In my group the teacher was Andrea Cortina - and I couldn't have wished for a better teacher!!! She is magnificent. You also tend to have mostly the same students in the group. In our group for last 8-9 levels - there were the same 5-6 students who just kept going - this also helps because you get a group at the same level of proficiency and you avoid wasting time and can move forward much quicker.
6. With Covid19 all the classes moved to Zoom - and somehow it just worked! Maybe for beginners classes it would've worked differently - but in our group which was advanced - it didn't' matter at all - the class dynamic stayed the same, there were the same people. In some sense it was even better as Zoom classes cut the travel time.
5. En final - lo mejor consejo que yo puedo darles - inscríbanse por las clases en Vamos and empece su propio viaje para aprender Español.

I have been taking Spanish classes at Vamos for a year now and I absolutely love it! The teachers are fantastic and they mix different ways of learning which make the classes interactive, engaging and fun! Highly recommend it :)

Vamos is a great way to learn Spanish with teachers that really seem to make the effort to provide fun and engaging lessons with a mixture of games and activities. The classroom locations are excellent as well, so close to Holborn station and for Central London I think it's great value for money.
S. P.
Vamos has very patient native Spanish language teachers. The lessons are well paced. There are a wide range of additional social activities organised, in addition to the lessons, to help improve fluency. As a retired teacher my self I know the school has a good approach to tutoring adults who are often leading busy lives.

In my opinion you can be sure to go all the way with Vamos Holborn. Since Sept.2015 I've received outstanding service proving my due diligence checks before application for the course back in August 2015 spot on!
The last 2, and a bit, years of weekly attendance, & homework, have me gain a level of Spanish that I could not have imagined back in September 2015 when I came to my first class. To start as a total beginner, and now “graduate” with B1 Intermediate Spanish makes me very happy, proud & thankful.
The classes have often proved the highlight of my week. The friendly, engaging atmosphere of the school, off site support service, text books provided, quality of teaching, and commitment of the staffing body as a whole to guiding us students are notable in themselves.
And to do so much at such reasonable prices – truly marvellous. The school deserves to go from strength to strength.
It’s been such a delight to attempt to learn, and better, my knowledge and use of the Spanish language, and to learn more of its culture, that I refuse to abandon it - “Voy a volver”

I have joined Vamos one year ago, when I knew about 5 words in spanish language. Now I am actually able to join the conversations, I have gained lot of friends speaking spanish and at my work I have started to serve them in this language as well. I am very pleased to hear that I develop my skills a lot and I feel very happy with myself! Especially I would love to say big Thank You to my teacher Amaya, amazing, energetic person, who helped me made my decision to stay with Vamos and carry on onto high level. And also to Russel, great director, always making sure everybody feels happy and appreciated. I do highly recomend this school for anybody, who has the same passion for this beautifull language as I do! :)

I thought my Spanish was quite good, since I could speak it when I was little and most of my family live in Spain. However, when I tried to speak to an estate agent and a lawyer on the phone, it was another story...
So I decided to start at Level 1 to get a good grounding, and I've gone through the levels to Level 20. I'm much more confident, and recently my sister said she couldn't believe how fluent I was when we were on a three-way call with a Spanish lawyer. I was really chuffed.

I started the Spanish course last September Level 1. I chose Vamos because I could read the teacher profiles, I liked the availability of 'catch up' classes (miss one, catch up on one!) and that there were FREE conversation classes at the end of each month with a chance to meet other students from other classes.
It has truly lived up to my expectations. The level of teaching is excellent, with the emphasis on conversation. We use a range of teaching tools in class, including games, Q&A, conversation, aural practice and there is access to online learning tools. I have found the teachers accessible, friendly and patient and able to make the lessons fun but informative. The lessons and the school as a whole are well organised and have recommended the school to friends. I can't believe I have learned so much in such little time!

I signed up to Vamos Language School with the intention of only undertaking the Level 1 course. Eight months later and I'm now undertaking the Level 4 course and loving every minute of it!
Great school, great teachers, great attitude, great conversation class and great tapas every month!
V. L.
Well-structured Spanish academic program delivered superbly by native speakers - for me it was a young, fun, out-of-the-box teacher (Amaya). All teachers are committed (had catch-up classes with some others), and most are speaking-oriented. They also have Fridays Talking+ classes, cooking classes, movies in Spanish, etc. for the eager learner. Prices reasonable for the quality actually delivered.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! QUALITY!!
I could never have imagined learning a language could be this much fun and so exciting. The initial idea of taking on the challenge along with work and parental commitments seemed almost too much! But not with Vamos!! Amaya’s carefully balanced approach mixing fun along with absolute determination for her students to both succeed and leave every class with a greater passion and ability for the language is STUNNING. In my experience to date the whole team at Vamos are an inspiration, patient, passionate and energetic. Along with this there are free conversation classes once a month, tapas nights, holidays and plenty of opportunities to put into practice all we have learnt and enjoy the language in the very best way. Muchas Gracias Vamos!!

When I decided that I wanted to learn Spanish there were many options out there. I picked Vamos because it seemed a bit less formal and more relaxed. I am so glad that I picked this school. My teacher is Amaya and I have been with the school for about 18 months now and have progressed to an Intermediate level. Amaya is a a great teacher and as a class we have a lot of fun learning together. I would highly recommend this place

I started learning Spanish at Vamos 10 weeks ago at Level 1. The teaching is fantastic; it is made complete by the extra experiences the school provides and the unbelievable passion the staff in the school have for what they do. The Conversation class on the last Friday of each month is a great addition to the regular lessons. It is followed by Tapas in a Spanish restaurant which is an excellent opportunity to socialise with students from other classes in a relaxed environment. In addition to this, I went on the school's summer trip to Cangas de Onis in Asturias; this was the most incredible weekend with memories which will last a lifetime! From canoeing 7km down the River Sella, to reaching the peaks of mountains near Cavadonga; in between which was many other activities such as a treasure hunt in the town, a local market and a local folklore festival. Most importantly, the weekend was an incredible opportunity to improve my Spanish. The weekend included many lessons and real practicable opportunities to test out what I had learnt in the classroom in real life situations. All in all a 5/5 rating is a real understatement; the school, its teachers, and its leader create a truly memorable experience; a testament to the way in which teaching Spanish should be done!

I did 2 levels with Nereida who was brilliant. She follows the communicative approach which means that you immediately apply the grammar you have learned across a variety of speaking activities. Homework is enough to learn but not too much as classes are designed for working professionals. The atmosphere is great and reminded me of being back at uni, which was loads of fun as I met a lovely bunch of likeminded people. Would definitely go back for a refresher at some point!

A fantastic learning experience - the teachers really make the effort to provide fun and stimulating lessons which is very much appreciated after a long day at work! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vamos as a place to learn Spanish.

I’d like to thank VAMOS for re-introducing me to the spanish language. I would have continued for higher level if not for the need to return to the Philippines due to end of contract of work here in London.
I would like to continue my development after level 6 in learning and using the language when I get back home.
Again, I’d like to say thanks to VAMOS and to all the wonderful teachers, staff and classmates who helped me in regaining interest to the spanish language with special mention to our maestras Carolina and Ruth for their patience and great dedication in teaching us.
Kind regards,
Arsenio

I wanted to try an intensive week of Spanish (level 2) and am really glad I chose Vamos! Our teacher Amayar was amazing. Our class size was only 4 (I think this is the minimum for it to run), with varying levels of knowledge, but somehow she managed to accommodate all of us. I learnt loads and the follow up email each day was really comprehensive and provides a good way to go back and review over the next few weeks. Amayar's energy and enthusiasm was just what we needed for a 4 hour afternoon class!
All very well organised, and in my opinion, excellent value for money. I will return!

I am about to start my 3rd Vamos course and highly recommend it. The classes are friendly and there is a good atmosphere. The teachers are fun and make the effort to know everyone personally. The lessons are entertaining so it's fun to attend rather than a chore! Highly recommend!

I have joined Vamos on December ’13 and was amazed by the positive attitude from all the staff to begin with. Clearly the teachers love what they do which motivates you to learn as much as you can and improve. There is consistency in the teaching methods and it's more about getting involved rather than sit and listen. The school offers not just lessons but the whole experience as well; free monthly conversation classes followed by tapas nigh outs, learning and leisure weekends twice a year in Spain…And just like that you find yourself signing up for the next level and the one after that and so on!
I actually decided to book my place in this summer’s learning weekend as I thought it would be a good opportunity to combine learning and pleasure. And I realised it is so much more than that! It is a great opportunity to learn and practice through classes and activities that take place during the weekend that are fun and engaging. Treasure hunting in the heart of the town Cangas de Onis; canoeing 7k down the river Sellas; enjoying the breath taking view form the Picos de Europa in Covadonga; learning about the history and the myths of the place on our visit to the Holy Cave of the Covadonga Sanctuary; shopping delicacies in the town market… On top of that I had the opportunity to experience and spend the weekend and explore this magical destination with a lovely company, new friends, with whom I share the same interests and passion for Spanish language and culture. I can only rate the school with a 5/5 stars for the classes and the practices as well as for the special approach of the headmaster and the teachers towards learning and for making me feel as part of a family.
I absolutely recommend the school and encourage everyone to join and engage with everything the school so carefully plans and offers!! If you want to learn Spanish and still struggle to find the perfect place…Vamos is the one!

I've been going to Vamos for over a year now and I would recommend it to anybody who want's to learn Spanish from the very beginning or for someone that want's to improve their existing Spanish.
I started from level one and the lessons are always engaging and the staff are friendly and helpful.
s. g.
I've been going to the school for 2 years now and I really enjoy it. The classes are big enough that you can practice conversation but small enough that the teachers know if someone might be struggling and can help. I love that the teachers are really passionate and if anything, it's you wanting to wrap up the class on time at 8:45pm, as they're so keen for you to learn more! Would recommend.
D. S.
Classes are very fun and move along at a good pace. They offer catch-up classes if you ever can't make a lesson. And the level of teaching is very high across the board (I have been very impressed on each occasion with my catch-up teachers). They also offer monthly conversation classes followed by tapas. Highly recommend.
A. W.
Vamos have provided us with in-house Spanish lessons for the past 6 months, the quality of teaching and service provided has been exceptional. I have received excellent feedback from delegates and would therefore highly recommend Vamos for Spanish language lessons.

This is a great school! I started at level 1, I'm now at level 12 and I intend to continue for as long as I can. The teachers really make this place, they are really friendly and fun. The classes are really enjoyable and it's a perfect pace for busy Londoners to learn a new language!
J. R.
I have really enjoyed the beginners course here - the lessons are very inclusive and fun. Our teacher Amaya is very good at illiciting confidence to speak a new language that I was unfamiliar with prior to the course.
D. S.
Just finished my level 6 in that school and I can honestly say this is the best school I have attended so far. I was doing different courses in the past but none of them were engaging, fun and so informative.
If you want to learn spanish - look no further!
P. L.
Just finished an intensive beginner level 2 course and very impressed with the teaching - I think I have made real progress and would recommend the school (and especially our teacher Amaya) to anyone wishing to learn to speak Spanish

Hola! LEARNING SPANISH AT VAMOS STREAMS RESULTS AND IS SO MUCH FUN. Already eight months with the school and must say each lesson gives me more and more confidence. Very soon I will be rearing to take on any native spaniard including those within my employers network. Hasta luego!
Great teachers & teaching methods!!!
N. R.
Excellent value - cheaper and bigger than other schools in London, the teachers I’ve had (especially Sara Lopera) are very good and together with the additional events have created a friendly community of learners to be part of if one so chooses.

Incredibly dedicated stuff, I had a week with Alba and it was a fantastic experience. Very talented teacher and a beautiful person. I was positively surprised that the materials are included as well.

Outstanding service! Great experience!
Rarely I've found this flexibility, Russell totally adapted the course to my needs and the teachers gave me constant support and advice also in relation to personal activities.
I couldn't ask for more... Definitely RECOMMEND!!
