My grandson and I have been learning Spanish with Craig for a few months, I have lived in Spain some years ago so needed a refresher, but my grandson was a complete novice having never studied Spanish before. So it was somewhat tricky for Craig to tailor the course, but he did an excellent job and both of us are benefiting form the course. Craig is very patient and understanding. My mother and I have been learning Greek with Craig for a year now – and we’ve already come so far from just knowing the simple kalimera! Craig is a great tutor, even virtually due to the pandemic! Craig focuses on what you want to get from learning a language – for us that’s to be able to speak and have conversations with our Greek friends, but not read the alphabet (although he can teach this of course!). No two lessons are the same and Craig does not use a simple textbook approach – he tailors it for what we want to know and how we best learn, taking time to make sure we understand. We would recommend Craig to both complete novices like us, or those who want to continue to develop their skills.

I have been tutored by Craig for over a year now. I started off with Duolingo but soon found that it lacked when it came to conversations in a more natural setting and was also American Spanish rather than European! Craig has been very patient with my terrible memory and I definitely feel like I've learnt a lot. I started knowing one-or-two common words or phrases to being confident in reading Spanish and starting to understand it in conversation. There are regular worksheets that I can go back to either with Craig or in my own time, as well as a wealth of colloquial knowledge that Craig has from living in Spain which you just don't get from an app. I highly recommend his services,. If you really want to learn a new language; he makes it interesting and fun to do and you can really see your progression over time.

Myself and my fiancee have been learning Spanish with Craig for about a year. We are mature students and this is the first time we have attempted to seriously learn a language. Craig has managed to adapt our lessons to suit both me and my partner even though we have different learning styles. Craig's lessons are both challenging and interesting, we are enjoying the learning experience. Craig is very patient and moves at our pace, he is also happy to go over previous lessons if we ask him too. We would highly recommend Craig to anybody wishing to learn Spanish.

Highly recommend. We have been learning Spanish with our tutor Craig for over a year now and as part of a group. We are making excellent progress and are thoroughly enjoying lessons. I have been learning Spanish with Craig for just over two years now. I started as a complete beginner not knowing a single thing about Spanish. His teaching style is professional yet relaxed and friendly, which gives confidence to his students to 'have a go' without fear of ridicule or censure when making mistakes. He is always fully prepared for lessons with content which is challenging but often amusing, which makes it much easier to remember. Medway Languages tutor Craig tutored my Daughter for her GCSE Spanish, which she took as an extra subject outside of school. Craig is very professional, always on time, polite and very enthusiastic. Over the years he built up a great relationship with my daughter, boosting her confidence and encouraging her when she felt she was struggling. He was always well organised and as we got nearer to the exams he brought past papers for her to work through which helped enormously. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always quick to reply to an email when she was stressing about upcoming assessments. I am proud to say that my daughter achieved an A* and she would be the first to say she couldn’t have achieved that without Craig. I would fully recommend Craig from Medway Languages Tuition for teaching Spanish. He is prompt, professional, patient, generous in outlook towards students, explains well. I have learnt from him for 18 months and though not a star yet I have much more insight into Spanish than I did before, many lessons when I would have given up prior to lesson, I have come away feeling encouraged and ready to continue in view of conversing with my friends from abroad and hopefully taking a GCSE in due course and getting a really good mark!!! I thoroughly recommend Craig if you are looking to learn a foreign language. I spent my teenage years completely adamant that a second language was beyond me. German was my weakest subject and I sat at the back of the class applying my make up! I am now working towards towards conversational Spanish, and after just over 3 months I am able to hold a Facebook messenger conversation with my South American friends! Not only has Craig taught me enough grammar to achieve this, he also anticipates difficulties English speakers may have with certain language constructs and works through those too.
