MGS is an excellent school offering a first class education. The pastoral support is good too, the facilities like the library, science and sports facilities are second only to the private sector. Staff are hard working, supportive and of a high caliber. I have been extremely pleased with my son’s educational experience. Even in the pandemic they received an excellent level of schooling with Microsoft teams and live streaming lessons. Well done MGS.

decided to write a review about the £1000 in the maths classroom, can be found by touching the top right brick of the back wall then the bottom left, can only be done whilst the teacher is in the room. A doorway will open and you can claim the prize!

An amazing open evening in the great hall, with so many polite and enthusiastic boys showing us around their grand school. The headmaster is a credit to this school, including all of his staff -there is just a family, friendly feel to the school -l took my son who is currently in year 5 and he was impressed -having his brother their already in yr 7 who is still enjoying every day and looking forward to his new challenges.

Everyone there is pretty nice.A year 7/8 thought I played fortnite so he said "do the floss." and I said no because I play minecraft. I got fistbumped. Pizza is nice. Overall nice school :) Edit : This school is still pretty weird, has mostly good teachers. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. Quite a bit of homework, if you can't be organised or can't bother to change, this is not the place for you. People are really nice. Easy going school. 3 words to describe it would be roadmen and memes.

I moved to MGS in sixth form from Invicta, couldn't have made a wiser decision! I loved the two years I got to spend here, surrounded by a brilliant network of people who supported me to achieve high Alevel grades. I feel more like a more confident and independent young woman; moving forward into university and the working world after having been at such a good school. :)
