My daughter started Leigh's at just under 8 months old when I went back to work part time. I chose Leigh's because they share my own gentle parenting ethos and were very willing and keen to support me in terms of how I choose to raise my children. Breastfeeding is particularly important to me and that has been supported and encouraged. I was extremely nervous first leaving my little one, particularly following the loss of my eldest son. The staff really went out of their way to reassure me and sent me photographs of her having fun on her days at nursery. She is now almost 13 months old and has come on leaps and bounds since first attending. Her communication skills are excellent and she is a confident, secure little girl. She never cries when she is taken in and often smiles and waves and she is always happy when I come to collect her. I feel safe leaving her in the care of the exceptional staff in the Snowdrops room as I know they truly look after and take care of her. They take time to get to know her and me so they can be best placed to meet her needs. I have since increased my days at work and that is, in part, because I know my daughter is okay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leigh's to anyone looking for high quality, personalised childcare from people who genuinely care.

My daughter has been attending Leigh’s since she was 9 months old and is now 3. She absolutely adores going to nursery everyday and it makes going back to work so much easier knowing that I don’t have to worry at all about her. She has built amazing relationships with all of the staff (who are fantastic) and other children. She has learnt so much from attending Leigh’s and it’s lovely to see how confident she has become. The best nursery around, my little girl has gone to Leigh’s nursery from being just 6 month and what a little dream she is from the moment I drop her and and when I pick her she is full of smiles she absolutely loves going, I was so scared about her going in from such a young age but it’s the best thing we have done, she has came on so much within her development. All the staff are amazing with her and for that we are very grateful for. The nursery itself is very child friendly and equitable and fab variety of food! Leigh herself is the nicest owner you will ever meet. Lily will be attending Leigh’s for as long as need be. We cannot Recommend them enough absolutely fantastic xxx

Leigh’s is the absolute best nursery and my daughter has thrived here. Every member of the team is lovely (she likes them better than us!) and Leigh’s really is a home from home she talks about it all the time. We made a big move from Kent a year ago when my daughter was 3 and we had so much going on it was so nice not to have to worry about nursery because she loved going so much! When choosing a nursery we instantly knew Leigh’s was our number one choice through recommendations and outstanding ratings. Our daughter started at 10 months old and has never looked back she absolutely loves it and the staff they are so friendly. They do a wide range of activities and has learnt and explored things we wouldn't usually do at home. I changed nursery setting in November 2021.After research, I decided to go with Leigh's and I am so glad I did!My son had settling in issues due to being in his previous setting since he was 10 months.He is now 3 years old.The staff were and still are so attentive to him and extremely reassuring.He is now settled and both my children love their days at Leigh's.They say you can always judge the setting from your children's face when they come home.My two always come out smiling and are so excited to tell me what they have been up to.The activities are always varied and relevant.The handovers are exactly what a parent wants; communication is great, detailed and you are never rushed.The staff are so friendly and show a great passion in caring for the children.Nothing is too much trouble!I would highly recommend Leigh's to any parent looking for an early years setting.Thank you Leigh's nursery!

It is stressful for any parent to leave a child in the nursery for the first time, especially as young as 6 months old. Fortunately we quickly learned that at Leigh's there's absolutely no reason to worry. Team is very skilled and wonderful, every day is full of fantastic activities, and meals must be great as our little one eats there much more than at home! Every single time for the past two+ years our daughter went there keenly and always came back home happy and positively tired. Strongly recommend! ❤️

My little girl has been coming here since she was 8 month old and my little boy started when he was only 5 month old. They both absolutely adore coming here and both rush in with a smile every day! I have never had any concerns leaving my babies with the staff here, the girls are all amazing and all take a genuine interest. Both of my children are “lockdown babies” but coming to Leighs has brought their confidence and socialising skills on leaps and bounds! Leigh also seems very hands on and makes a point of having personal interaction with us & the parents which I think is an amazing touch, to know the owners are very involved with the kids too! Brilliant nursery, incredibly friendly staff, always doing fun and educational activities... and the outdoor space looks great, which our son loves. My 2 year old has been going here for 1.5 years and he loves it. One example (and these sorts of things happen all the time), but at our NHS 2 year review, they asked if our son could thread pasta onto a piece of string. We had no idea, and asked in nursery if they knew. Literally the same afternoon we got a photo through their private app showing him doing exactly that... just a nice example of the caring and thoughtful things the staff do!! My eldest son attended Leighs for four years from the age of nine months… so we didn’t even consider anywhere else when sending our youngest son …who is now 18 months old. He has come on so much since starting in January. All the staff are brilliant at Leighs, and I can go to work knowing my child is in safe hands. The menu is varied, the staff are always enthusiastic and engaging the children in different types of play. The learning book lets me see what they have been up to and any milestones achieved. I would recommend Leigh’s nurseries to any friends or family if they were looking into a private nursery for their child, and have done so in the past.

As a member of staff and as a parent I couldn't recommend Leigh's Nurseries enough. I work with Leigh's over 2 years now and it is the best job I ever had. My daughter Summer absolutely loves going to nursery, she gets so excited when it’s a nursery day! Summer has had several challenges with her health and her eating habits and the staff have been great and so helpful in helping summer deal with and overcome these challenges! And we love the care and love that is shown to our daughter so much that we are sending Summers younger brother Jaxx to join her at Nursery starting in a couple of weeks time! We enrolled our baby boy for the first time at Leigh's. We are new parents so as you can imagine, emotions ran very high. I was so worried about him fitting in, his sleep, his allergies, how people would treat him. The staff was outstanding, just incredible. We loved them and our boy loved them too. He went from crying when I dropped him off which was heart-breaking, to going in the arms of his carers by himself, with a huge smile on his face. Every time I picked him up he was full of smiles. He ate there, he slept there. He has cow's milk proteins and soy allergy and he is incredibly sensitive. This has been taken care of and no contamination ever occurred. Unfortunately, we found out we had to relocate down South, so we had to find a new nursery (yet to accomplish). I was devastated. I cried when I picked him up on his last day, and his carer cried too. Which I think speaks volumes of the kind of people they are. They have been caring, compassionate, understanding, loving, everything I wished for my baby. Most importantly, I knew when I dropped him off there, he would be safe. I pray we find a nursery that will live up to this standard. With a heavy heart, we say goodbye!

I have sent my little boy who's now 2 to leigh's nursery for a year. In that time he has developed so much and has learnt so much from going to this nursery. It really is a home from home. The nursery nurses are lovely and you can tell that they really care for the children and really love their job. My little boy loves the nursery nurses there too. He has comes out from nursery full of smiles and has been so active during the day that he has a full night's sleep. He also eats a variety of different food there he wouldn't even try at home. Our daughter has a wonderful time at nursery at Leigh’s. So much so she practically Jumps out of our arms and then clings to whoever brings her out especially on her half day as she clearly has so much fun. The staff are so kind and friendly and clearly have a lot of love for the children. I haven’t been inside nursery but that didn’t stop us choosing, I had a lengthy conversation with Leigh and she said to me it’s so hard leaving your children and we want you to know while she’s with us we will love her as much as you do. And that is exactly what must happen. She comes home with little pieces of art work and the staff can tell you everything about her day like they really have spent quality time with her. The only thing o wished is that we’d put our son here.

I've worked at Leighs for 7 years and it has by far been the best 7 years of my career, the support and encouragement each and every staff member receive is second to none. I wouldn't be where I am in my senior position today if I wasn't at Leighs and I cant thank the team enough. Leigh’s is a fantastic nursery, not only does it look wonderful. Every aspect of it is thoughtfully linked with Montessori learning. The surfaces are colourful and natural with soo many textures for little ones to explore. The staff are incredibly skilled and with it naturally caring and attentive teachers. Our daughter went to Leigh’s aged 4 month, by 9 month she was full time. I have never looked back. My daughter is almost 2 and is very content coming and going to nursery. My son has been attending Leigh’s Nurseries for about a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. My Dhu-Nurayn is two and half years and his development has been phenomenal in all aspects from the vast knowledge he’s gained intellectually, to his social skills and all from attending twice a week. As both a member of staff and a parent at Leigh’s Nurseries, I would say it was the best decision I had to put my daughter in nursery alongside me. Both management and staff were really supportive to help her settle in and develop into the independent young lady she is today. The children are encouraged to be as independent as possible learning everyday life skills. The environment is very warm with a homely feeling. Staff are warm welcoming caring toward each and every child, showing a keen interest in each and every child’s interest taking time to get to know each and every child.

My daughter (3) and son (1) joined Leigh’s at the start of January and I have been so impressed since day 1. Without exception the staff are warm, enthusiastic, and the passion they have for excellent childcare is evident. It really feels like all the staff really know my children, their characters, likes and dislikes, what settles them, and that is such a comfort. I have also been struck by the developmental changes in my children since they started. For example, my daughter’s vocabulary as well as her letter and number recognition has really developed. My daughter also transferred from another nursery and she has been really well supported as she transitions from one environment to another. I can not recommend Leigh’s highly enough!

I started nursery for my kid when she was 2 yrs. old. She has been with this nursery for more than a year. When she joined she was not talking too much but nowadays when I go to pick her up she says let's go nursery again. In weekends also she ask to go to the nursery😀. It is a home from home environment making it so welcome and comforting for children to spend their day here,All staff are so supportive towards each other and to all the children to fit every child’s individual needs.Leighs nurseries cater activity’s for all children and what they need to develop.It is over all an amazing nursery and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

My daughter she is going only 2 days a week because we wanted to take it easy on her, but every time we take her from nursery she cries because she wants to stay more 😁. I will say its the best decision we took in regards to nursery.
