Great training centre, the CBT training done by James ensured I felt confident on the road beyond what is required for the certificate. By giving detailed feedback on specific points I could improve upon. Instructors are also calm and level-headed at all times. Definitely will return for my A2 license once I'm more experienced.

Awesome staff, great learning experience, bikes are well maintained, they know what they are doing and atvthe end of the day you will feel all the training and money was worth it. Recommended for 1st time drivers. Neil and James are really experienced instructors it was great learning from them.

If you want to learn how to ride a motorbike there is no place you need to go but here. I could not sing the guys praises anymore they were sheer perfection from start to finish, I passed my theory, mod 1 and mod 2 first time easily and it took me 3 times to pass my practical driving test! This isn’t an ad I honestly couldn’t be happier with the way things went. From doing the CBT day course with James I knew I wanted to progress further so booked up to do the whole hog. I had most of my lessons with Kev who is a great laugh and puts your mind at ease and is a great teacher! I did my final couple lessons with Neil the owner there isn’t a thing he doesn’t know and helped me massively pass my mod 1 and mod 2 instantly. Couldn’t be happier.

I came to Newcastle Rider Training after struggling to get a test booked within Cumbria (wait times were 4 months+). I came from an A2 to A and passed first time! The instructors were friendly and approachable, they were happy answering any questions I had and made the entire situation very relaxed when I was nervous. I struggled a lot with learning a new area as I had only been to Newcastle a couple of times prior to this and they were able too support and guide me through the roads and test routes. They helped me iron out a lot of bad habit and confidence issues I had in only six hours of tutoring, passed both MOD 1 and MOD 2 on the same day. All their bikes are in really good condition and they have space on site to complete MOD 1 practice which is a bonus! Thank you very much to Kev and Neil for all your humour and support!

Absolutely first class training from Neil and his team. I done my CBT, Mod 1 & 2 with NRT. On my CBT James was superb from the start. Patient and very helpful and had me feeling comfortable very quickly. Most of my further training was with Kev, cracking bloke, doesn’t miss a trick and he just wants you to be a good safe rider and pass. He’s a complete professional when he’s training you. I really enjoyed the training and learnt so much. I also went out with Neil a couple of times who was also superb at explaining the good, bad and uglies of the motorcycle world. If you are looking to progress your motorcycle journey you’ll not go wrong with NRT, a class act!

Completed my CBT with Newcastle Rider Training and can conclude it was a great experience. James from the get go made everyone comfortable. His experience/knowledge and passion for biking showed. Neil took us out on the afternoon and gave clear and concise instruction for every manoeuvre. Yes mistakes were made but these were explained in a constructive manner to ensure my and other road users safety. Definitely be back for my full test in the future. First of all I had my entire training experience from CBT to passing my MOD2 last Monday 27th. If you are sitting there like I was looking through reviews deciding if you actually want to do your motorcycle license then seriously take it from me and all other people who have been trained here that you won’t regret it. The team at Newcastle rider training are the best in the game seriously Neil has a great team with Kev and James. James for making the cbt easy and continuously explained everything in a way you can easily understand but also making it fun also. Neil and Kev for getting me up to a really high standard in a matter of weeks training, I passed my MOD1 first time and then a week later my MOD2. They went out of there way to make sure I fully understood everything before moving on and if I need some further help they did in a way that was more constructive than anything else. Once again everything was done with top tier professionalism from the team but also kept it fun so you feel comfortable and confident. Can't stress enough how great and thorough the guys are at NRT. From having never touched a motorcycle before to gaining the full A license in little over a month, I'm thoroughly impressed with the standard of tuition and would recommend NRT to anyone wanting to gain their license. Thanks to James for the thorough CBT to start with and to Neil and Kev for their expert training. Will definitely call back once I've sorted a new machine out!

Completed my CBT on 24/8/22. Can't recommend these enough (thanks James). Great day, great training. Put you at ease no pressure. Will we returning to do my direct access. Returned 2 weeks later for a full week of direct access training with both MOD 1 & 2 on the Friday (passed both). Thanks Neil for your time with direct access training. Tell Kev thanks as well great couple of days with him. Also tell him im still counting to 10 and singing while on U turns haha. Will pop down with bike when i can The time and skill these lads put in is second to none Regards Scott
