My own child was lucky enough to go to Belsize Day Nursery when she was 3. I found the staff and management there so understanding, informed and polite about her SEND and making sure we were all supported and well cared for. Now some years on I have had the opportunity to work at Belsize Day Nursery myself for a year. I am very happy to say that my experience has echoed the one of my daughters. I have been supported throughout my level 2 apprenticeship and I have really enjoyed learning from their very experienced team of practitioners and management. Belsize Day Nursery is a home from home for the children, with an amazing array of educational and cultural opportunities for all. The team is always working on new opportunities for children to explore experiences and to welcome families with support and understanding. Well done. So happy to be a part of the team.

I highly recommend Belsize day nursery. Penny and the team are passionate, enthusiastic, and really positive child focused people. The kids are welcomed every day with enthusiasm and warmth. The activities set up on a daily basis are really creative and look like great fun. The feedback and communication to parents and carers is thorough and sensitive, and our boy since joining has never once been reluctant to go to nursery- he goes in exited for every day, and comes out happy and appropriately exhausted! Penny and her team are great at what they do! They have been great with my son from start to finish and have prepared him for big school in September. The staff are all very professional, approachable and friendly. He is going to miss everyone that's for sure. Here's to my 3rd child starting with them in 2 years time :)

I highly recommend this nursery as a first step for your kids to learn. My son who don't speak clear words at the age of 3 can now speak.His communication skills improved a lot. His social skills also improved, before we are having a hard time to mix him with other kids but now he can play and interact with other people.. Staff are very very nice and trusted. They always update parents about our kids activities or behaviour. The manager named Penny was so lovely she always greet parents every morning. It's such a blessing that we bring our child here as his stepping stone to learning.

My eldest son started attending this nursery about a year and a half ago and it has been the best decision by far. He has come on leaps and bounds in nursery - they have helped me with all stages of development. My youngest also now attends the nursery and he loves it just as much as my eldest. It's a lovely nursery setting and because it's a smaller group I just feel that every child is treated very well and they get close to the key workers which makes them feel secure in the setting.would defo recommend always.

The best nursery in Peterborough by far. My son absolutely loved coming here every day for 2 years, and so much so, he attends the holiday club they do too! From activities, to trips, to dressing up days - the staff go above and beyond to create memories for the children. All observations are uploaded onto a portal so you can see how they teach your child through play - which is fab. Can not recommend this place enough!!

My daughter attended this nursery from the age of 2 up to starting school . As a parent I was very concerned about her leaving me as she has a medical condition but I can honestly say it is one of the best choice I have ever made , the staff really made me feel safe about leaving her in their care. They were so caring and had my daughter's needs at the frofront of her care , they ensured she was more the school ready when she left in September and for that I will be truly gratefull . This is definitely a little gem of a nursery set with in the local community . Even tho they have a few other settings under their structure it did not feel like it it felt like a home from home for her and definitely a personal approach.

My son has been at Belsize setting for the past two years. We have previously used a mixture of childcare including childminding, aupairing, baby sitting and a nursery close by to Belsize, we found that Belsize is the best setting he ever attended by far! EVERYDAY you are welcomed with big smiles from staff, any information needed for the week - in hand ready to take home, we always get reminded of special dates eg. When learning about new cultures, Halloween, sports week, walk in the park month - with detail explanation what will happen and what to bring for the child. There is parents evening where you get the opportunity to see sit down with keyworker for your child and see pictures and learning outcomes. There is regular email send with updates which also include full conversation showing child's development. Staff are very strict with following through with any request, if I felt Gabriel had a mini disagreement with a friend and informed the staff, I was always given a full update how the day went, staff actively watched Gabriel and spoke to him to see what upset him, there has never been any ignorance from staff from this setting. They work mega hard to ensure the kids have good mixture of education and skills when they leave. Staff prepare children for move onto reception in primary school by allowing more independance when coming in the morning-and all parents take part and are reassured by staff. Staff ensures excellent health and safety of children, from phone calls to injury slips to even ensuring every parent follows food allergy guidelines due to another child having allergy, they are all open to question, communication - you will never find better! Only if every nursery put so much effort into each child, a world would be a better place! Every child, every background and every culture is welcomed and staff are eager to find out how to embrace individual cultures at the setting - we speak 3 languages at home, and this has always been embraced by staff at Belsize. Belsize feels like home away from home. I cannot recommend this setting enough, we are truely lucky we managed to get a place for Gabriel there. Hats off to all hardworking staff at Belsize, you are all absolutely amazing!!

I had no second though about putting my child into this setting , from the first phone call to book a show around i felt welcome . The staff are friendly approachable and skilled in what they do . They have supported me so much in dealing with my child’s behaviour, i love that their door is always open with a listening ear .

When I first found this amazing nursery for me first born kenzee who is now in year 1 I knew it would be perfect for my kids because the people that work at this nursery are LOVING AND CARING AND ARE SO NICE so when I had my second child I knew that she would go to the same nursery everyone at the nursery has helped my kids to grow and learn and now my son will be starting soon this nursery is the best and the people are so amazing I'm so LUCKY TO HAVE THIS NURSERY FOR MY KIDS TO GO TO thank u to much for everything it means so much to me and to my kids ❤xxxxxxxxz

Can I start of by saying I have used both child minders and other settings with in Peterborough and I had started to lose my faith in finding some wear where my child is more then just a number , then we found Belsize and my son went in on the show around and went of to join in no tears no worries and in that moment I knew that this was the place for our family and I will be sad when he leaves
