The best English language learning centre in Reading, and maybe in the South East of England. Cambridge English accredited, the centre offers English language learning programmes for personal improvement and for Cambridge certification, It also offers CELTA for English language teacher training. I did my CELTA here then continued at the centre in the capacity of teacher. The centre has a real 'family' feel and it was a joy to learn and teach here. Thank you

I started the preparation for my C1 Certificate here. The classes were well organized and the teachers and office took their time to care for your problems and questions. The class itself had a good learning atmosphere. Another point was that I could get extra work if I wanted to which was great. I'd totally recommend the language school if you want to improve your English or take on a Cambridge exam of any level!

I definetlty recommend this school for any body who wants to learn English with any level or someone who wants to improve his English or to take a cambridge exam. Before joining this school, I was eager to learn English from native people. In 2018 I had an opportunity to come to the UK so I was looking for the best school available. Because of that, I did an assessment which included many factors such as academic accreditation, registered licensed sponsor, staff, location, diversity and finally the number of students per class. After comparing 3 big names in Reading the best school without any doubts was The English Language Centre in Reading. I am not just saying that because of my assessment which was totally unbiased. I have studied in this school for a whole year which is more than enough to build a comprehensive perception about the school. It was a unique experience. One of the outcomes, I have achieved 6.5 in IELTS from the first go. I have learnt how to write essays and that made a huge difference in my postgraduate study. If you want to learn English in a friendly environment, definitely The English Language Centre is what you are looking for.

I think it's attractive not only to study in the classroom but also to have group lessons in public spaces such as cafes. I often felt that the writing task was particularly difficult, but I was grateful that the teachers carefully corrected it. The class has a lot of things that you can do with your classmates like a game, and it became a chance to make new friends 😊 (Original) 少人数制で発言の機会が多いので、嫌でも英語を話さないといけません。笑　そういう場に身を置いたことで、少しずつですが語彙を増やすことができたと思います。教室内の学びにとどまらず、カフェなどパブリックスペースでのグループレッスンもあるところが魅力だと思います。 ライティングの課題が特に難しいなと感じることが多かったのですが、先生方が丁寧に添削してくださったのでありがたかったです。 クラスは、ゲーム感覚でクラスメイトとともになにかできるような内容も多く、新しい友人ができるきっかけにもなりました😊
