Cannot reccommend highly enough! I joined at the beginning of 2020, looking for a fun way to get fit and build confidence. I had tried a few different classes elsewhere but never made it past the initial taster sessions. From the very first session at MKG Southampton it was clear I finally found the right fit and I always look forward to the next session. Aaron and Sarah are excellent instructors, giving helpful guidance to all ability levels. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, not at all intimidating (which I found at other fitness groups) and you can go at your own pace so you are always challenged but not pushed harder than you can handle. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Writing this for my Husband George who has recently joined MKG. Aaron, Sarah and team are great professional and knowledgeable instructors, the Kali, Muay Thai and fitness sessions are first class. The Gym has a friendly, happy and welcoming atmosphere, I wish I had joined sooner. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the excellent classes and would highly recommend to all. It's never too late to join even if you are old like me!

I've have been training at this gym for just a short time but my kids have been training here for years. Too many positive to list them all but Aaron & Sarah are both amazingly competent, knowledgable and inspiring instructors. They are both very down to earth, fun and caring people but extremely serious about what they teach. Plently of laughs and banter and fun to be had. My favortite classes are Ghost, Kali & Striking... to give you a bit of insight they are all the ones I attend. Top Gym & Top People...

I've been coming to MKG Southampton regularly since March 19 and wholly recommend it to anyone looking to raise their fitness levels, learn some nifty self defence, or indeed learn and become engrossed within the MKG method. I had no previous martial art experience, and my fitness level at the time was properly shoddy, but was made to feel very welcome and included by Aaron and Sarah and the other instructors, a theme that continues during my time here. Now, in December, I've earned my 'yellow belt' in Muay Thai, and will be undertaking the same grade in Kali at the next opportunity. There's a wide range of disciplines and levels of activity and art available, as well as a couple of membership options, that allow you to come as little or as much as you'd like. If you're on the fence, then Aaron frequently runs beginner opportunities, so it's worth giving them a message to see what's coming up. I started MKG because a couple of friends were involved and it sounded fun, but it quickly became a fairly important part of my life, one full of very fun and interesting people. I'm very grateful to be part of it 😊

This Place is Awesome! My only regret is not starting earlier in the year when I moved to the area. I Was bored of Gym routines and always wanted to learn martial arts so I emailed through the website and got a welcoming reply and also a welcoming start of my free week, Yes a whole free week! so you got nothing to loose coming down except alot of sweat! Best workout, Great friendly Teachers with a Cool secluded Gym to use. Really reccomend If you are interested in Martial arts or Just come keep fit with some friendly people. :)
