My daughter attends and absolutely loves it here! The staff are all wonderful with the children and the school has gone from strength to strength since April last year. They have also gone above and beyond helping families and students in the current scary situation. My daughter is really missing being at Oakfield currently and is hoping to be able to return before starting secondary school.

Our son is in Year 1 and has flourished in his time there with you. Since we started at Oakfield the improvements have been immense. We’ve had a new head teacher, new teachers, we’ve become an academy and I must say this has turned the school around! Our son really enjoys everyday at school and we’re looking forward to our youngest son joining him there too next year. The teachers and staff there are always friendly and helpful and our son’s teacher is a credit to you! Well done Oakfield 👍🏻

The school has undergone a remarkable transition in the past 18 months. Our children really enjoy attending. The staff are fantastic and put the children's learning at the forefront and are very proactive.... especially in these difficult times during lock down ensuring they keep up to date on their education. Oakfield is a great school. The new Head Teacher, Mr Mitton is brilliant, he is full of energy, creative, approachable, and has introduced some great new incentives to encourage the kids. It is now part of an academy with The Romsey School, which gives Oakfield school extra support and new opportunitys. My daughter is really happy at Oakfield and I'm delighted with her progress. The staff are fantastic and it's a really friendly, small school.

This is a great little school with many dedicated teachers and support staff which is growing in strength all the time. The focus on the needs of each individual child is a huge positive and the school is a calm centre of learning. My son loves going to school. Yeah, loves.

Fantastic school, very open, friendly, cant do enough to help, my children love this school since moving them here. It is also lovely to see the head Mr Mitton out each morning greeting the children, how he knows all their names I'll never no. During this covid 19 pandemic, we have been kept informed every step of the way, I would highly recommend this school.

Amazing school! All 3 of my children are here from year R to year 4 I couldn't fault the school in any way! huge turn around over the last year! Amazing efforts especially during covid 19 where all the staff are there each morning giving video messages to the children, reading stories over video link, always available to answer questions, mark children's work sent in and encouraging feedback given. They all go above and beyond putting children before themselves! So greatful and honoured my children attend this wonderful school :)

Homely, fantastic little school. The staff give their all to the kids and my daughter loves it there. If you want your little ones to have the comfort of a primary, taking them all the way to secondary level, with dedicated and hands on staff, then this school is a really good choice.

Staff at Oakfield Primary School have been amazing before and during the COVID-19 lockdown. They look out for children whilst attending the school and kept in touch with home learning and videos during the lockdown. Since becoming an academy and with the support of a new headteacher this school has become stronger. Ignore the Ofsted this place has completely turned around!

Really great school since it became an academy. Mr Mitton and the staff have put alot of hard work into turning this school around. Would recommend it to anyone looking for there children in the area.

Used to attend and got to be a year 7 student. The teachers here are brilliant and very kind, though some of the other staff can be quite bitter.
