Angie is always very welcoming and makes all of the lessons interactive and fun. We are both feeling much more confident with Spanish after a short time and would highly recommend anyone looking for a Spanish tutor at any level.

She is a teacher with SO much patience, great sense of humour and a varied approach to teaching depending on learning styles. I have not taken private lessons, always studied in a group, but the groups are small and I have never felt like there is not enough attention to us individually. Angie also puts the groups together based on skill and ability, so you learn at a comfortable pace to you. I could not recommend Angie more, she is a great teacher!

A. W.Angie's classes are great - a very good social atmosphere helping the learning - the content and subjects discussed are interesting. I have learnt a lot, the conversational vocabulary for normal daily situations is really good. You make people feel at ease and comfortable to speak Spanish in the lesson which is one of the main steps when learning a new language. Just keep going they are great!
A. B.I have started my Spanish course with Angie several months ago and very happy that I have chosen her lessons. She is a highly professional teacher with a friendly and creative approach. The lessons are always interesting, very interactive and include lots of practice along with theoretical information. During the quarantine time we have continued our lessons via Zoom and I also enjoy it a lot. Angie always makes sure we had worked the whole lesson and also gives us extra time at no extra cost.

I am an adult learner and I was a complete beginner but after only a few sessions with Angie I was able to develop a good understanding of the language and write and converse confidently in Spanish. She is great at pacing the lessons to match my speed of learning and makes sure lessons are about both learning new vocab/grammar/concepts and consolidating what I have already learnt.
G. L.If you want a great Spanish teacher, look no further. Angie is a native Spanish speaker who is welcoming, patient and encouraging. I have made good progress since starting as a beginner a year ago. Class sizes are small (we are a class of 4) so there is plenty opportunity to practice in class. Lessons are fun and interactive with a mixture of listening, reading writing and speaking. Grammar is clearly explained.

Angie is firstly a lovely person, always smiling and happy and makes the lessons enjoyable.
She is also a great teacher ensuring lessons flow from topic to topic giving us the opportunity to understand before moving on and in an order that makes sense, ensuring we can walk before run!

R.I always wanted to learn Spanish. So even though it’s far for me , I started going to Angie’s classes. While the lessons are structured and progressive, the actual class always feels very informal. Angie is very easy to understand and the lessons have improved my language skills at the right speed for me. Angie is a very confident teacher and, as the class size is small, she tailors the classes to cover a general course of spanish as well as more specific situations and/or vocabulary more fitting to each student's lifestyle. For instance, I am a uni student so Angie has helped me learn more words and phrases linked to my studies. The classes are very welcoming and I find the pace at which we learn at perfect - Angie combines both textbook work with small games and links to current pop culture to prevent the classes become too repetitive in structure.

We started as a group of beginners and I love that we have got to a point where when we are role playing conversations we are now even making jokes in Spanish. Very reasonably priced it is amazing value. Our teacher is great. She keeps it interesting and at a pace we can all handle but pushing us forward at the same time.

Our class feels like it’s truly one of a kind and despite the structure, we’re not always fixed to a particular time / day of the week. This is because no matter how small the group is, there are occasionally diary clashes. Yet every week, we find time to meet & learn.
