My son had 1-1 tutorials with John over the summer last year to help him prepare for the MAT exam. He enjoyed his studies with John so much, and gained so much confidence, that we continued with his help in preparation for his A-levels in Maths and Further Maths. The format of the online tutorials and John's communication with me and my son were fabulous. My son really enjoyed his lessons and seemed to significantly improve in confidence and ability. There was an excellent structure with the use of past papers and setting of new work each week. Very highly recommended.

John is an amazing tutor, his methods of teaching can sometimes differ from what is taught in the classroom, however, it is usually a far better approach. He helped me with everything from Further Maths to the MAT and I would strongly recommend John.

John is an amazing tuition teacher, he shapes each lesson to suit individual needs. If I didn’t understand something, then he would try to explain it differently until I could. So much work is covered and understanding is gained in each lesson. I was able to learn each topic’s core concepts which helped me answer exams style questions more easily. If I did not have John, then my A-Levels would not have gone as smoothly as they did. Fantastic help for all of the topics in maths and further maths.

I found the one to one tutor sessions really helpful as John was able to answer any question I had on any topic and source exam style questions for me to tackle and work through so that I could properly understand how to do them. Also the videos on individual topics were so useful for when practicing questions on my own and revising when I got stuck as they explain each individual topic in a really straight forward manner. I would highly recommend John’s services to anyone doing alevel maths as they helped me go from Cs to an A*.

I found the course really good revision as going through every topic was a good refresher and really helpful to then use to find weaknesses to focus on further. I think it really helped my confidence as well as I knew more on how to approach the exam questions. Doing the exam questions on the website after we had gone through the topic was helpful and I felt more confident answering them and I felt it was good revision. I found the days quite long but the regular breaks were really helpful and it was nice to get the whole course refreshed in such a short amount of time. Overall, I think the course was really useful and definitely improved my exam technique and knowledge so I felt more confident in the final assessments than I would have.

John is a great tutor and his A level revision course is excellent. My children learnt so much from him during the course. He rapidly identifies each student's weak areas which he then resolves through clear explanations and plenty of worked examples. I whole-heartedly recommend him.

Did all of these before my maths A levels and helped me achieve an A* in maths and A in further maths. They also really took the pressure of in terms of revision as you can get the majority of it done in one day freeing up lots of time for other subjects, making the overall exam period much more manageable and structured. The tutors were much better than my maths teachers at school and their fresh insight really improved understanding. They were also really flexible and able to allocate time to target problem areas based on individual needs. Could not recommend more.

Highly recommend these to anyone looking to improve their grade. The tutor’s knowledge and enthusiasm stretches much further than teachers at school. Definitely worth doing as they cover the majority of the course with quality teaching.

It was very useful and I did great on my exams in my opinion, however, the only field in which I did not to very well was mechanics. Rest was very fine.

Really helped me when I was short of time and got me into my university of choice. Great learning environment, much better than the typical school class providing a more one on one teaching experience.
