Top quality service from London City Runner. Owner of shop helped me and a friend, (experienced and beginner runners) find the perfect shoes for our pronations etc. Didn’t feel rushed or pressurized into buying. Exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and friendly service. Will be returning and highly recommend.

I hardly leave reviews but honestly.... LITERALLY LIFE CHANGING!
I procrastinated way too long coming here because I didn't think I was a serious enough runner. No matter! Best and easiest shoe shopping experience of my life and the person was like a shoe wizard! Came out with the perfect pair after seeing my current trainers.
Fixed decades of back pain and realized it all came from my shoes!
Thank you LCR!

I am recovering from a traumatic injury to my lower leg and foot after a run in with a lorry in June. In early December, I was struggling with constant tendon and stress pain that meant that I had to prepare myself mentally every time I stood up to walk. My physiotherapist recommended getting a pair of trail running shoes, and so I approached London City Runner just before Christmas. I talked through my injuries and the pain sites, and came away with a pair of shoes that have made the biggest difference to what I have been able to do in months! In just a couple of weeks I have been able to do desert treks and race up and down stairs with furniture, and I truly believe the way that these shoes absorb impact is giving my injury a bit more of a chance at healing itself. Thank you so, so much!

Fantastic, definitely worth the price. My laces ripped through the eyelets after 4 months so Lou ordered in a fresh pair for me free of charge and offered plenty of tips on how to avoid it happening again.
A word of warning that my bike got stolen outside. Nothing to do with the shop of course, but if you cycle make sure to take a very good lock or store it in a more public area!

I went in a few weeks ago as my current trainers (not from here) were causing me sore toes despite being a bigger size etc. I was wondering how much more I was going to have to spend but the lady I spoke to was brilliant. Listened to what I said, had a quick look at me run and then suggested a different lacing technique rather than a new pair of shoes. With her advice and a bit of trial and error based on her advice, I managed to run the marathon I was aiming for, without feeling like I was losing my toes to gangrene! Really appreciated the honesty about the lacing and not just trying to make a quick buck. If the urge to run another marathon takes me, I will be straight here to get some new shoes fitted. Thank you.

Amazing shop, super friendly and helpful service, they’re very happy to spend as long with you as you need. Has a decent selection of socks and other kit too. It’s quite a small shop with just the one treadmill but it’s worth waiting for!

Great service and advice. Good range of shoes. I love my new pair of running shoes. Super comfortable. I suffer from issues with my left foot/knee/hip so its important I have proper running shoes and get correct advice from staff/ instore. Feel like Lou really delivered. Thanks!
