I’ve used Michael’s a couple of times now, both times to install Topy cover soles on shoes, with one pair also fitted with Triumph toe plates. In both cases not only has the turnaround been very quick (next day) but the quality of craftsmanship is top notch. This family run business also stocks a wide range of Saphir products which are hard to find in stores (mostly available online). Michael’s is 110% a cobblers you can trust and their helpfulness and responsiveness over the phone only makes them that much easier to deal with. Cheers guys!

These guys are just the best. Took 4 pairs of shoes in - all in various states of wear and they are as good as new, top quality and at a great price. Even put the Gucci tag back onto the soles of a pair of loafers. A real old fashioned personal service and attention to detail from the owner and his son - cannot recommend enough!

WOW!! Incredible service. After a telephone conversation one of the friendly staff came and collected a few pairs of shoes that needed repairing. They intruduced her the history of the shop and told her they were using the best quality of material but with the best price. Great place for shoe and boot repairs. I always go here to get my footwear re-heeled. I last went in October and prices were £9.50 to reheel a pair of boots and £9 to glue soles back on a pair of boots. High quality workmanship; fair prices and it's good to support a local independent shop. They take Amex, so if you go during the Amex's annual Shop Small promotion it's particularly good value.

Please please support this shop at this time. A gem of a local shop. My £150 Loake shoes have a new lease of life after getting new soles. Very reasonably priced (£32 for the pair), and they are friendly. And very competent, you feel like you're dealing with a mater of their craft. I also bought laces and brushes which were cheaper than Amazon, at a higher quality. Big tick. I will be back and I encourage anyone else to come while this virus is going on. All the best.

Michaels shoe repair re- soled a pair of golden goose trainers that I didn’t think was possible! They also re- soled a pair of Chloe boots that had a leather sole (not practical!) and I’m so pleased. Cost for both items and shipping was affordable. I’d definitely use them again :) thank you

They did IMPECCABLE work on replacing the heel and half leather soles of a pair of my Cheaney's - very very impressed with the work and the price. It's hard to find a cobbler in London who won't shortchange you or accidentally wreck a lovely pair of goodyear welted shoes. Highly recommend these guys.

I used Micheal's for a full sole + heel repair on a pair of Jeffery West brogues - it was done in a few days to a really high standard. The materials look better quality than the original sole and the contours of the cleft heel were maintained... I will certainly use again.
