Such friendly and helpful staff. I was there for nearly an hour, they were so nice, let me try so many different boots on to get the best ones for me. I will definitely be going back for some more very soon!

Really amazing customer service. The staff really know their Docs and what work best for different styles and foot type. Caitlin in particular was super friendly and helpful even with the strange requirements needed for strange proportions needed for the shoes! Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely go back to the Reading store if I want to get another set of shoes!

Went to The Amazons and the Blackwaters playing in there one evening, first time I've been to a gig in a shop! Was great, a very different approach to doing things. Inspired me to call in the next day and pick up my first official pair of Docs. I normally struggle with shoes, not many shops in Reading have larger sizes, they had plenty size 13s, but I fit a 12, in every other brand I've tried I'm a 13. Will be back for more gigs and shoes!

Went in looking for something a bit special, not on display but sales staff were really helpful and walked away with a fantastic pair of purple DM boots for my partner. Staff were friendly and engaging and 10% off for Blue Light Card holders. Will be back for a pair for myself in the new year.

First time Dr Marten customer, and will definitely return. All the staff in the store were extremely helpful and informative but especially Holly L who helped me. Amazing customer service from them in particular and anyone who goes to the Reading store will definitely feel welcomed and find what they're looking for!!

Wonderful staff and service. Caitlin was an absolute star in getting me some replacement 1461s as mine had a defect. Kept me updated throughout and arrived very quick! Will deffo swing by again

Absolutely brilliant service! Welcoming staff, and superb customer interaction. I was able to reserve a pair of boots a week in advance and picking them up was the easiest thing I've done this side of Christmas! We just went in for a browse and staff welcomed us, then gave us space to look. One staff member, Hailey, was lovely and was chatting to us just because. We were discussing boots we already owned and then just Christmas celebrations. No forcefulness in making a purchase and just lovely, bubbly staff members. I own a pair of docs and I'm very happy with them. The pair I own aren't great on snow but they have a new line with snow grip heels designed for exactly that.

Shop staff are absolute legends - helped me find a size by trying combinations of insoles and sizes. Easy conversation, great products - would recommend to anybody. We went in on Saturday as a last ditch attempt on buying work shoes. Hailey served us and was brilliant. Went into store today regarding the fact my old docs where broken, then explained how best to get in touch with the central HR as well as offering me discount on a new pair if I chose to replace them! I’ve been working in Reading this week and stopped by the Dr Martens shop a few times- I’m obsessed. I found every visit uplifting and enjoyable. The manager and his team were fantastic and so welcoming. What a fabulous bunch. I stopped by today (12th January 2018) around 3.30pm. I wish I had their names to say a personal thank you. But if you were working on the above date and time, THANK YOU. You’ve made my year.

top notch shoes and boots here for sure, with a nice bundle of accessories like socks hats and scarves. best of all though is the personal service you receive from the moment you enter the shop to the end. Richard.. you are cool, Dr Martens you are cool too, I am cool now. You really must come here.

The people who work there are very welcoming and helpful. Always smiling and friendly. It was my first-time shopping in their store and it was a great first time experience! Very helpful and also great with young kids.

Waited for 30 minutes to see Dr Marten has I had an issue with an ingrowing toenail. Unfortunately when I asked how long he was going to be I was told that this wasn't a doctor's . Silly me! Btw I found a doctor's and got the mail sorted. Thanks for praying for me.
