A fantastic stock of unusual shoes and clothing, with a lot more besides. I bought a beautiful pair of bright yellow leather desert type boots with leather mock animal print heels, so comfortable made by Adesso, not a brand I have heard of but would certainly recommend. The delightful lady allowed us to roam in her shop unhindered but when asked was most helpful. My friend bought a pair if mock animal print boots and a few fairies, penguins etc for her Christmas tree. We were even allowed to leave our purchases to collect later. Excellent customer service and they do on line too! Thank you.

Been to this shop now a few times and have been very welcomed by Kate who always gives us a big smile and is a very attentive person. My wife whose in a wheelchair is very anxious with new situations and Kate made her feel very special. She loves the quirky and individual items in store and now this is her favourite shop on York. So thank you Kate for being kind and caring and making my wife feel so at ease.

Angela Bare is one of the most amazing stores online and on the high street. The owner Angela is beyond helpful and is one of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet. She has always gone above and beyond to help me get the items I am after. It is thanks to her I managed to acquire a pair of the LE carnival IC shoes. I have ordered numerous Hot Chocolate Design shoes, Joe Browns Couture, Heavenly Feet (which are my favourite to wear on the school runs in my glittery sparkly boots), Lindy Bop dresses, Vendula gingerbread Christmas bag and also ordered mens Lambretta items - a Harrington type jacket, tops and also Joe browns shoes. I absolutely love this small business and recommended them to everyone and anyone. Angela and Kate really do care about their customers and always try their absolute best to update everyone on new stock, postage updates and even doing live Facebook videos for sales and to give us little snippets of them changing their lovely stores around for displays and their new stock coming in. You get to see the boots tried on and tested and what they personally think for size and comfort. I have even received a personal call to check I was happy with delivery and items had all arrived from Kate. Angela Bare Vintage is now my favourite place to shop online and I am very thankful to them for all my items and presents I have managed to buy for Christmas and birthdays, but more for myself as I love everything they stock. Amazing lady and shoes! Love nearly everything Angela stocks....not just her wonderful shoe collection but her vintage inspired dresses are to die for! Angela also has some lovely lingerie in stock and she has her own charity which provides ladies who need them with complimentary mastectomy bras. Even with slight delays from Royal Mail (this isn't the shops fault this is just the times we are living in) my shoes arrived well wrapped and I had them for a bargain price.
