Really nice book shop with a great vibe! It's smaller than their old location, but it feels a lot nicer inside! They run their own cafe as well which feels a lot more friendly than the chain run ones you often get in bookshops.

Lovely wee Waterstones with what may seem like a smaller selection but really have everything you can think of! Any time I have asked for a hand staff have been helpful and efficient. Absolute top notch wee cafe too, never too busy, perfect little pit stop for a caffeine boost and grazing through a couple chapters. Amazing baristas making a banging chai latte :)

Love this store the layout and selection of books is fantastic. You are not forced to pick from very small selection picked by someone like in the other book shop but there's loads of books by categories some recommendations as well. There's a brilliant section with hard cover books with autographs from the author. Staff couldn't be more helpfull always there to offer help and recomend something or find what your looking for. Excellent customer service. I will go back.

Not the biggest store, but still plenty to browse. And they tend to get in stuff I don't always see in bookshops, in particular, the Fantasy & SF section. Great, friendly staff, too, which is the most important thing.

Great to have a real, and really good, bookshop in the Bon Accord Centre! We spent quite some time browsing and discovering all sorts of interesting and unexpected books - and some writing materials too, pens, pencils, notebooks etc. A very pleasant, inviting place to be with friendly, unintrusive staff who know their books.. I've not had such an enjoyable time in a bookshop for years! Thank you...

A lovely bookstore spread over two floors with a great selection of books. It also has a very nice children's section which feels very friendly and encouraging for the children to pick up and look at books. Upstrairs there is also a good coffee shop with a good range of cakes!

It's been years since I went into a book store. It was a relived pleasure. I always thought Waterstone orderly it was great to find it more organic than in the past.

I frequent here with my wife quite often, we really enjoy the food and relaxing atmosphere, its a good place to come when on a break from work. the portions of soup are more than generous and the scones are quite delicious also. I've started my ' The Witcher' book collection and the staff on hand were helpful to point me in the right direction and which book to start with

The new store has lost the quiet wooden library feel of the old bookshop on union street. People would go and browse through books for a long time, and grab a coffee. It was a great retreat. The new place is too bright and too clustered. It’s open to the manic mainstream mayhem in the shopping centre. The book selection is reduced and now it’s more of a expensive stationary shop with Harry Potter stuff. Poor decision

For some reason I find this "new style" shop soulless. Whilst it has a good range of books (of course) and a pleasant little cafe, it all feels a little sterile, and not like a busy bookshop.

Like the new store in it's new location. Staff very helpful. Twice recently ordered books for me, texted me when available well within predicted time frame, & in time for xmas presents. Find the stairs very steep however, after finding the lift out of order. Really struggled to safely manage the stairs while lots of customers rushed passed me, & were very impatient. Perhaps the service lift could of been in use for a very temporary measure with staff escort ? Liked the new cafe area.

Whether you are in for a browse or looking for a specific book it is a well stocked store with loads to offer. Even better is the Costa in store so that you can have a nice cuppa with your new book.

Quite a busy place. Couldn't use the cafe as it was so full. But it has a fantastic history section. On 2 floors too. It could benefit from having less novelty items in the kids section. I feel it distracts kids from the books but the staff are helpful.
