A lot of stuff for dogs, 3/4 of shop space occupied by it. Good chois of toys, food and accessories. A few fings for cats. There you can by decorative freshwater fish and all goods for aquarium, alive insects and foog for reptiles, some pets like rabbits, hamsters, mice and rats.

Lots and lots for all your pet needs, particularly love the fact they have an adoption/rehoming area. Was sad that the reptile element was limited and the actual reptiles being no longer available though. Staff are very though when checking you understand each pets needs ect.

Lol, after explaining myself more than necessary to TWO members of staff I finally got the "blue bag of purina cat food for senior cats" No not the wet food..no, not kittens?! For senior, OLD cats.. The dry food, blue bag, purina brand!? We got there in the end!

I came in today for some fish and was served by a man named John (Jan) and just wanted to say that it was the best experience I have ever had in pets at home. Absouluty amazing customer service skills infact some of the best I've received anywhere for that matter. Also he had knowledge about what he was speaking about and obviously cared about the fish. i honestly cannot fault my experience today in anyway so thank you!

I imagine that this pets at home is like many other pets at home. There is a wide selection of pet related products, as well as a number of small fluffy animals that could be your pets should you so desire. The staff are friendly and care deeply about the animals they look after. This is seen by them doing their due diligence before every sale. The shop is very accessible and clean.

Excellent selection of all pet equipment, bedding and food. Rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters and a great aquarium with exotic fish. I know personally that they get the rats from good breeders as they're well socialised.

Always pop into here about 1 or 2 times a week. I usually go in if there is an offer on Felix cat food. I also buy fish from here accasionly but have found that some die after a few weeks with white spot. I know it's the fish as all my others didn't have any symptoms. But I do have fish from there I had a few years back and they are fine. I think it's just pot luck when buying them. They sell all pet products toys bedding cages fish tanks food. So if you need pet stuff pop in.

I've been here on multiple occasions as my partner decided to take a fishtank from a flatmate, and i can say with all sincerity that the rating i gave this store is well deserved! I'll begin with the staff, who are such nice people. On my first visit after i looked around the store i asked a rather tall man at the counter if i someone could come and take out a couple of fish we had picked out. He was very friendly (sorry, you were kinda too tall for me to see your name badge, so i still dont actually know your name..!) A man named Aziz came to assist us with this, and he must have sensed we were new to the whole thing of having pet fish so he gave us a perfectly detailed explanation (perhaps can be considered a lecture - (no negative connotations!)) of everything from community fish, tropical and coldwater fish and the nitrogen cycle, and showed is the chemical section and explained products such as Tap-safe and Stress-Zyme. Myself being a univerity student and having studied/read these things before, every piece of information he gave was as accurate as you would find in a book. He suggested Platys as our first 2 fish and they havent died a month later even though the tank cycled (we did monitor the water bacterial levels etc). Immensely helpful. Then there was another store worker on the tills called Beth, (who later was the one to fish out several more fish for us over 4 more visits) who was as friendly as peppy as imaginable (but not over-the-top), the perfect person you'd imagine to be working with animals. She kinda gives a vibe she'd be ideal working for the RSPCA or something. Anyway, shes perfect. Then it comes to the fish of which there is a great selection with labelled tags that describe each fish, their adult size, tank requirements, food requirements etc. After buying around 14 fish from the store, only 2 (guppies) in total have died and that was our own fault for putting more sensitive fish in an uncycled tank which we got slightly complacent with due to how the platys were tolerant but its a learning experience, they now are buried in our garden, unless a cat has since dug them up. We have also bought several ornaments which are of good quality and standard price. The only criticism i can give is i wouldnt buy my aquatic plants from here. I cant guage their quality having not bought them myself, but they can certainly be purchased for cheaper in The Newman Garden Centre which is where i would go for them. Otherwise, from products, fish selection and customer service the 5 stars is just right. If you couldnt be bothered to read all that ^^ fair enough, just gonna say in big letters so you'll probably see that if nothing else... RECOMMENDED!
