Very convenient location with lots of parking. A very big store that caters to lots of different animals. They have got a lot of stuff for hamsters here too which is handy. I do prefer pets at home compared to Jollys.

Friendly staff, bit pricey on the pet food but not that much. Good variety of tropical fish and well kept tanks. Can get busy during weekends. Vet clinic I'm not that impressed, when my cat's had their first appointment when they were kittens didn't go that well mostly because this is quite busy clinic and how your pet is treated will very much be impacted by this but price wise they're fair.

Personally love pets at home, they have a good range of products for dogs, handy having the vets in the store too, prices are not the cheapest but the quality of goods is very good, we always get things for our dogs here, one thing that is obvious is that the staff are dedicated to animals and always have a friendly attitude.

Brilliant helpful staff at both Pets at home and Companion Care Vets. Pets at home staff have always been very helpful in choosing the right food for our puppy and have helped find him the right harness - it took about half an hour to find a harness suitable for our dog but the staff didn't mind spending the time, making sure it fit around his body properly. Highly recommended!!! Companion Care Vets also just as helpful. Our puppy became a little poorly, they managed to see him within the hour. Thankfully he was ok!! Highly recommended!!!

An adequate pet store in most respects but they rarely have anything but rabbits for sale. They frequently don't have a decent range of consumables in stock such as bedding and prices are substantially higher than supermarkets for most food, although there is a wider range on offer. Just don't rely on everything being in stock. On the whole a bit disappointing.

Went in there to purchase some lizard accessories. Large Dog and Cat section (being the most popular pets). Lizard selection was a bit small, but staff where very friendly when asking questions. Still the best place to go fir general house pets.

Had to come in to pop to the vets sad day. only issue was there was items in lots of aisle causing congestion hard to socially distance when everyone trying to steer round ( click and collect right in the main walkway) lovely staff though

This is the best pet shop! The staff are always enthusiastic and willing to help.They handle the animals with great care and do care a lot about them. The animals are well looked after and are very happy and healthy.They have a wide selection of food ,toys and other items for a range of different pets.They regularly clean it.They do feeding time for younger children which could be an fun experience.I only buy pets from this pet store.I would recommend you should try it since it’s so amazing!

First time to the bedford branch, went looking for reptile and hamster bits...there are cheaper options out there, found this out after spending enough on hamster toys. Didn't have alot of stock for reptiles but to be fair the staff were really helpful...and patient when I was proper chatting away 😆.

Great selection for all kinds of animals. Some stuff is over priced compared to other retailers, the more common items but great place and dogs welcome, although never any water in the bowls by the front door. Staff are always very helpful. Love buying my pups treats and spoiling them there.

I went here recently to buy a fish tank to start keeping fish again. A particular member of staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to share some fish keeping advice and also explain the store's procedures. There was some inconsistency in what other staff I spoke to on a second visit were saying, hence not giving a 5 star rating, however generally happy with the service given.

Amazing!! Kevin and Jo run a superb practice. Every staff member is fabulous. Polite, sociable and incredibly helpful. There is such a great rapport between Kevin and Jo and the staff. It must be a fab environment to work in. I have been at this surgery since it opened and I won’t be going anywhere else. They know our cats so well now.

We are currently in ‘lockdown’ and I was concerned about coming into contact with numerous people especially as I have a respiratory condition but equally knew that I needed to get urgent treatment for my cat ‘Harris’ who had cut his paw quite badly. I need not have worried as there was a system in place whereby ‘Harris’ was collected directly from my car. He was then assessed. I then received a call explaining that he had taken one of his ‘paw pads’ off and what treatment would be required plus follow up care and cost. I was very pleased with the whole experience, as Harris was treated promptly and there was minimal contact with others, in fact I did not have to leave my car as I then paid on the phone. Very happy.

It's a great pet shop! You can buy all the supplies you need for your: rodents, snakes, bearded dragons and common house pets (dogs and cats) as well as fish. The staff there are very welcoming and are always ready to give you advice on a certain animal when applying for adoption. The animals there are well kept and oh boy are they cute! The pet store also has a small veterinary clinic and a grooming station for dogs inside, so go on their website and sign up now with professional care and low prices!

Went to buy some goldfish today and wow the amount of questions we got asked before we purchased them we brought 3 small goldfish and we got asked what length and width of tank we had now we obs told the lady but the reason for this review is now she was saying we only could have 3 goldfish and we have quit a large tank and have had alot more in our tank than 3 now thats all we were told to have now... now why r we getting questioned when the poor goldfish about 50 of them were in tiny little cubes now what gives them the right to ask on the size of your own tank when they clearly don't have the right size for all there fish... now the lady who we see today is younger than how many years I've been keeping fish myself...

My cats are very fussy eaters, but will always eat food from here! Vets is also amazing each time I've had to take one of mine in. Very helpful staff that all care about animals. Only downside is the loyalty card never seems to give me any vouchers I can use for cats, always dog food!

Nice big store! We popped in to buy a new bed for our elderly cat and wanted something with memory foam or a filling that was soft, but bounced back to it's original shape when not being used. As he is suffering with arthritis. The store is large and has a very good selection of just about everything you need for your pet. They do also sell some animals on the premises such as guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, mice and fish. There is a separate area where you can have your dog groomed and at the back of the store is a practising Vet's surgery. All under one roof and with free parking on the retail park it does make visiting very convenient.

The people that work here genuinely love animals and are very knowledgeable about the best way to look after your pets instead of this being just a weekend job. The only thing that can be annoying at times is that there are not enough staff on the shop floor which means that it can be difficult to find someone when you need to especially when it is very busy.

Pets at home seem not to carry any decent/ quality leads in any of their stores. They are either heavy chains, thin strappy or embellished. Before, you could get good quality, well made leather leads and collars, half checks in colours other than black, red or blue that lasted.... These days is diamonte and ribbons.
