This is my favourite fabric place in South Wales! The value for the quality of every fabric I have purchased here cannot be beaten. The staff are so helpful and friendly and have even provided me scrap resources as a Textiles Teacher which is invaluable! I always keep an eye out for the sales as they are of unbelievable value such as £1 a metre. Definitely recommend!

An absolute Aladdin's cave of fabric. So much to choose from and bargains to be had. Lots of upholstery/curtain fabrics, but also a good selection for dressmaking too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Great choice of fabrics loads, my wife and I went today, purchased some fabric, £34 total, when we went to pay the owner asked us if we wanted to play a game be ouse of the jubilee, you pick a horse name from the list, spin the wheel best of three, if you get one right it's 20% off the price if you get 2 right you get your purchase half price, and if 3 right you get you purchase free, we had one right so 20% off the price, if you want any fabrics I definitely recommend Bridgend fabrics 👍

It's like a tardis for fabric! The shop is situated on an industrial estate with a traditional shop opening for an entrance that often houses clearance fabrics with little left on the roll - great finds at friendly prices. They have cotton fabric but mostly thicker upholstery. Staff are friendly in directing you to the nearest cash point as they only accept cash, and the shop is nearly always crowded, making walking around quite difficult as the aisles are so narrow. It's open until 4pm and all small change is usually put into a charity box for the doggies. Lovely place to go to, wouldn't spend longer than needed there as it is so busy - but that's a good thing!

I want to write this review for Bridgend fabrics as I am bowled over by the owner, Karl's generosity. As a charity we have previously come to call, to ask for his help in providing fabrics to decorate a wonderful Castle that we are are 'Friends of'. He was kind and helped us tremendously then. Now our volunteer group is making travel laundry bags for all of the NHS frontline staff in our area. We desperately needed material and so we approached Karl again. Karl give us so much material!. Roles of it, to help with our endeavour. He has more material in his warehouse than I have ever seen before but he was more than happy to give us what we needed. He has already donated lots of material to local hospitals produce Scrubs etc. Not only that, but as I collected the material, he was getting ready to deliver shopping and medication for the elderly in his community. Apart from having a massive range of fabrics to choose from, he has a heart of gold to go with it. I would not hesitate to recommend this man and his company! Thank you, Karl

Vast selection of curtain fabric. Picked the fabric and asked for them to arrange for the curtains to be made. The curtains were ready a day earlier than expected even better! They were well made a beautifully packed and are now hanging up in my lounge. Just about perfect all round.

An Aladdin's cave of bargain priced material for upholstery, curtains, blinds, and who knows what else. We found the very fabric we were looking for after about an hour of looking through their stock. Some part-rolls were inaccessible, but the staff are very helpful and they have ladders and platforms etc. to pick anything too high to inspect closely. Nothing we saw was more than £9.99/ running metre, and quite a lot of stock is £2.99. Allow plenty of time to browse!

The best place in Bridgend for all types of fabric. Ends of rolls are very cheap but you have to have all that is on the roll. Many other rolls by the meter. Fat quarters and haberdashery. Two floors and several rooms to browse. Hundreds of rolls. Allow time to enjoy yourself browsing or ask the staff who will direct you quickly to what you need. Cash and now card taken.

Had a fab afternoon at Bridgend Fabrics. Staff were really helpful and even carried my haul to my car. A great range of fabrics for upholstery, dressmaking and patchwork along with some gorgeous and very reasonable oilcloth. This warehouse is chock full of fabrics that are extremely reasonable. It's a bit of a rat-run getting around the shop as it's so full of products and wouldn't be able to take a push chair in but for upholstery fabric and cotton's it's fantastic.
