My husband & I visited Sussex Beds Portslade on Sunday mid afternoon with a view of a replacement bed & mattress. We were greeted by a friendly, cheerful young man called 'Reggie' who was very helpful, informative & professional. No hard sell, no gimmicks just knowledgeable about his work & products. Initially we were going to look at other bed companies too, but we felt this won't be necessary as the bed/mattress we decided on with help from Reggie was perfect for us & didn't feel the need to do so. We totally recommend Sussex Bed Portslade & Reggie! Looking forward to delivery of our new bed & mattress in the very near future. Thank you to Ian for the progress call today, much appreciated. Really great service from the staff here. I got a memory dream mattress for a very reasonable price and discounted for trading in my old mattress that I was ready to dispose of. Excellent service from start to finish. Ian showed us a wide range of mattresses and talked us knowledgeably through the differences while still giving us the freedom to roam & try without any pressure. Organised holding of the mattress for us until a suitable delivery date to our new house & when it did come it was taken upstairs without any fuss saving us the tiresome job of lugging it in to place. The product itself we could not happier with either. Comfortable & just as we remember it being in the shop. Popped into both here and dreams next door and the difference in service is so apparent... If you want good advice and great customer service then Sussex beds is the place to go... I had a salesman called Ronnie and he made buying a mattress almost enjoyable and carefree... He told me about my sleeping position, wear and tear, what made good quality and where my money could take me! In comparison I was given a pillow to walk around with on my own in 'dreams' and essentially just stare blankly at some white rectangular blocks that seemed to represent beds?? Choose life... Choose Ronnie... Choose Sussex beds...

Me and my wife went to Sussex bed centre in Portslade and was greeted by Ronnie, he was a helpful sleep consultant and was not pushy. I think it’s important to be given time on these types of purchase. He told us the benefits of each mattress and helped us find the ideal one that met our needs and comfort. I didn’t know this but he explained the importance of using a waterproof mattress protector in keeping it hygienically clean and prolonging the longevity of the mattress. We will recommend to friend and family and are very very pleased with our Superking mattress!!

Helpful staff, good quality mattress. Only lost a star due to the high cost of the bed protector that you have to buy if you want to test the mattress and be able to return it if it isn't correct. However, the 0% finance is excellent as it allows for an investment into a really good quality mattress, something that people rarely do!
