Booked this as a day activity for a stag for 20 guys and everybody loved it. The guns were easy to use and prison settings were great fun and unique. Really well run by Will and the other marshals especially with regards to the different games, breaks and overall setup.

Been several times and always had great fun. Really cool site, good rental equipment and excellent staff. Had Will as the marshal every time I've been and he always runs great games and is very friendly. Sad to hear it's closing down but definitely try and get a game here before it does!

I come to this site regularly and always thoroughly enjoy myself. Decided to go yesterday and found it to be no different. A nice array of games. Does get a bit predictable though. Usually infected, team death match,embassy then a few random games in that order. Marshall seemed to be new, allowed people to shoot their guns before and during the briefing down the halls and the barrels in the mosaic room (briefing room).

What a brilliant venue with rolling game play, well worth the money, with such a wide variety of interesting game play. It was my first time playing AirSoft, with so much to learn I was made to feel extremely welcome by all involved, especially the regulars that play here at Bristol AirSoft. Took my guys to Bristol airsoft for Christmas works party, all first timer at airsoft the staff explain everything to how it all works went through safety procedure and off we went for an amazing four hours of shooting the hell out of each other. So this was my first time at the Bristol cathedral court house (Wednesday), and I have to say what an incredible place it was, from start to finish. The game modes that were selected for the site were perfect, the players were nice and very chatty, even though I had my gun, there rentals were very good from what I could see and heard from others at the site from that night. The marshal we had yesterday was probably, if not the best marshal I have had in my time whilst playing airsoft, the way he controlled the games, the way he helped people if they were stuck, the knowledge he had, just his professionalism tbh, quality guy! Plus the way he ran the whole evening was just top notch, hat goes of to him! I will 100% be going back there again soon and I’m sure the other 10+ people of our group will say the same! Thanks Lee

Me and my group of 4 decided to take the hour and a half trip over to Bristol Airsoft. To put it bluntly, it was well worth the trip. The friendly staff to the welcoming players it was a blast from start to finish playing in one of the most unique places you will play to date in the U.K. You will not be disappointed playing here. I went on one of the newbie nights, I rented the equipment and got unlimited ammo refills. I played 7 different rounds including; embassy, team death match, infection, zombies and cops and robbers. This night was really fun you get breaks inbetween games. The rented equipment was in peak quality and was top end stuff. Overall the night was amazing and I would definitely go again.

Went here for a stag do, due to unforseen circumstances there was only 6 of us but they made adjustments so we could still play games as a small group and a big group. Nick was especially helpful, fun games and they make sure it's fair and the rules are followed. Definitely a good shout for a stag or a group

The gameplay area is good, if not a bit baffling if you aren't familiar with the site. It is well set up. Safety briefing is formal with plenty of warnings, I guess there have been issues in the past. There was a single working toilet for the whole site which was absolutely vile! If you need to sit down to pee, just hold it in!

Really good fun and would definitely go again. However, the masks are really uncomfortable which bruised my nose, and whilst the marshal was really friendly, he gave all the instructions so fast that we couldn't understand him and we had to keep asking questions.

Amazing guys especially if like my self your a compleat beginner at Airsoft, these guys are so helpful and knowledgeable about the sport. This has led to me and my group now wanting to do this as a more full time activity. Even the rental guns are very high quality here, which from what I'm told is rare in allot of places. We will definitely be coming back very soon so sort out out UKARA. Next time I will get more photos inside aswell.

So this is the place i started airsoft and i loved it from the minute i stepped inside … the marshal are a friendly bunch they make rules clear they can be strict but that’s better than loosing an eye ! the people you play along side are very friendly and by the end of a game i would become shooting buddy’s with the players. one thing they could do to make the site better is invest in replacing door and stairs they are falling apart . other than that i would highly recommend visiting it is a very unique site and it has become my go-too in bristol !

I have been playing here for a couple of months, shared events with work mates and other airsofters. The games are good and fast paced, the differences between the upper and lower floors is good. The Marshals are always on hand to answer questions.

Been there couple of times and it was fantastic every time the constant switching of game types and trying out new game types always left you wondering, also like to add that the arena is perfect for both non experienced and experienced players. The Marshall’s have a great attitude towards the sport and towards new players unless you break the rules to many times.

First impressions of the site were overwhelming, it's held in a grade two listed building which was once a courts and has stunning architecture. Once inside the staff were friendly and super welcoming. The games played were so engaging fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable. Even the lunch that was included was better then I'd had at another site. Definitely definitely coming again. 10/10 guys!!

Then when the game is actually begin I cannot begin to even explain how much fun I had within the two hours that I went. Armed with a trusty weapon and only your wits you will need to traverse the area hunting down other players before they are able to get to you. Or if you are working with players in order to capture an objective or to defuse the bomb (a fake one obviously). The venue was fantastic, the marshals are fantastic, safety is the upmost priority, only just taking over fun. Whether you want to go on a stag do, or if you want to go by yourself in order to meet a bunch of people: there are always people there and it is always a good time. You are seriously missing out if you don’t go.

First time there and absolutely loved it! Not what I was expecting at all, paid £35 for gun rental which was an M16, unlimited ammo and a face mask, was there for five hours in an old courthouse with holding cells etc and really enjoyed every minute of it, the staff Alan and Scott was friendly, funny and informative, the games we played was great fun, team death match, infection, domination and hard point, was recommended this place by my brother and glad I decided to go, have already recommended this place to everyone I know and will certainly be going there more regularly

Not only are the Marshalls amazing and really helpful to new players and experienced, they know a ton about the sport! They are willing to help you if you need it and are a great laugh when the games begin. When I first went it was a bit overwhelming, this is becuase of the downstairs area. It is really dark when I went go on Fridays. However, the whole field is fantastic in general, the larger rooms and the tight victoriana jail cells allow a diverse play style. I would 100% recommend whether you are just trying airsoft for the first time or are a seasoned veteran.

So this is a great arena to play in but unfortunately i can only give it 3 stars. The bad bits parking is expensive £12 for the day if you cant find a free space. which are usually all taken as it does not have its own parking being right in the hart of Bristol city centre. The kit room is far to small especially when they have a massive room beside it which the Marshall claimed was for over flow but when we said we couldn't get in he didn't really care.we stuck our heads in there just to see and it seemed he was letting his friends in there rather than keeping paying customers happy. This is not a place for beginners on a Sunday. Compared to outdoor play this place hurts and will draw blood if hit on a nice bone bit so go well covered up. The brief can be quick and slow but is always very through and i have never had to ask a question after as they are all answered. But the Marshals will answer any question if you are not sure. This is defiantly the place if u wanna play fast paced CQB. Down time between games is minimal which is great. lunch is good. People and marshals are friendly and helpful. so would defiantly give this a higher rating if the kit space was bigger. So go find out how good this place is for yourself as i cant wait to go back again even with the slight downsides. H

I attended the Friday evening including rentals with my teenage son and his friend, having attend similar games on other sites for paintball and laser tag sessions, I was very impressed with the management of this site. Everyone was very polite, informative and approachable, the games were safe, quickly organised and really great fun, the breaks were well placed and the availability of drinks and snacks that were well priced was greatly appreciated. The old building had a great layout and the lighting was well thought out on the site, the objectives and the length of gameplay were great too, plus all of the other players were very tolerant for having a rookie "mum" in their games. All of us left very happy, sweaty and will defiantly return again.

A bunch of us on a stag do went last Friday and had an amazing time. There are a couple of takeaways to consider if you are looking to go here: Positives: -The building is amazing -Will, the organiser was great -The escape room exerience was intense and well worth doing! -Unlimited ammo -Great attitudes to safety Negatives: -If you're planning a stag event, bring your own food. We opted for lunch provided and got one 12 inch cheese and tomato dominos pizza between ten of us. We did get a chocolate bar and a bottle of water too, but that's not really a good set up for 10 grown men running around for 6 hours nor is it good value for money. -Upstairs games are much better than downstairs. Downstairs becomes a campfest; there's too many onesided power positions and it takes the fun out of it. Upstairs however was awesome, great flow, equal positions, plenty of flank opportunities. -Comms could be better. Will organises everything and it's clear that he's got lots on his plate, but I feel this led to some last minute Comms about covid testing requirements which we all had to rush around and sort, with hangovers. Despite a few points for improvement, if you go here, you'll definately leave happy and sore with great memories even if your a bit hungry 😉 #oneslice

I visited this Airsoft site today ' on recommendation from a friend ! I must say I was extremely impressed the staff and Marshalls very welcoming and worked in a very fair and professional manner at all times. they also made the game play extremely fluent and had some good technical games. we were provided a good dinner time snack which was most appreciated and well needed. I travelled well over 100 miles and I can honestly say it was totally worth it I will most definitely be returning with my group of friends and more people next time very soon!!! highly recommended if you want to have a Action packed fun day that you won't forget in a hurry thank you very much to all at Bristol Airsoft for a great day can't wait to come back👍👍

Went twice, good arena, safety was dodgy both times thou. You must walk through the game area from the entrance to get to the safe zone. Make sure you don't come late or you will have to enter with eye pro on! First time a went the owner forgot to put a cover over a big hole exposing the neighboring restaurant with people eating, the second time a random lady who was lost walked in just before the game started because the door was not closed. Will be going once again to see if safety has been taken care of and will give a second review! I like the arena and game times, so my second review could go either way lets see!

Good day out, having unlimited ammo is nice as it keeps it cheaper than paint balling. One thing I would recommend is to maybe do a run through of the site before playing as I was new I struggled to find my way around especially underground in the jails. Also possibly make it easier to get ammo during a round as I ran out a couple times during rounds. Lunch was good, big pizza and chips which I didn’t expect.

We (My son and I) LOVE this site. The staff are friendly, professional, fully focused on fairness and safety and most importantly a bloody good laugh. Admittedly sometimes players on any Airsoft site can sully the fun ( not taking hits etc) but this place seems to be the exception, which is great :-) We've only had one team from out of town who did this so far and they got roasted by the marshalls. We regularly go once a fortnight to let off some steam and always go home smiling.....with a few whimpers from being hit...but smiling :-D Hire is possible but from our experience when we started out, i'd advise you bring some wipes to run around the inside of the provided hire masks. Hire guns are always in great condition and well placed for indoor shooting. If you're bringing you're own kit remember you'll have to get it Chron'd - and there are no exceptions to the site FPS limit as it's a close combat site. In short - if you're looking for some great CQB action down here in the SW - book yourself a session here one evening.

Great marshalling, well put-together site. games ran fairly and fluidly and the day was well planned out in terms of timings - any change to the timing plan is usually down to players, not the marshalls. A good start to CQB and a nice introduction to airsoft for any beginner looking for a safely moderated place to start, but experienced players will enjoy alike due to the diversity of the site itself and the challenges presented in each different game mode. Overall really impressed, a site that I will look to be playing at more often where possible!

Bristol airsoft was my first airsoft experience, and ive rented once and attended two other times. The CQB area is very cool at first but replayability within the establishment becomes very limited. A very few subset of gamemodes are played, although these do work well for the venue. Pros! CQB heaven. A mixture of soft and hard cover, some moveable assets, Two floors 4 staircases theres good initial variety I attend on wednesdays, which is a cheap night and is one of the only sites in my area that run evenings. Student's main wednesdays, so plenty of people around my age ish on site shop and tuck shop, with reasonable prices, as well as an onboard gun tech. Lighting is variable. Some days everything is brightly lit, others its been 100% dark. They can control lighting in each room it seems. Adds to variety, its a shame it doesnt really change between games. Cons! Game site while initially awesome gets stale quick. Chokepoints and EXTREMELY tight alleys and corridors make for sometimes immovable stalemates, or one sided teams full of grenades that can clear rooms easy peasy. No grenades? good luck getting the chap behind the table in the corner of a room with one entrance and no lighting. You're going to get hurt. CQB is hurty, but when the maximum engagement range is about 10 metres and jail cell engagements happening sub 3 metres, it hurts a lot. This overall is my biggest pro, because it turns it into a fear of getting peppered rather than a good game. More for competitive players i guess.

It was my and the group I was with first time at Bristol Airsoft and we didn't really know what to expect. For the most part we were pleasantly surprised with the site itself and was something new and interesting. Pro's: Staff were unbiased and helpful Site is unique and good fun Reduced price of £12.50 Big thumbs up Con's Brief was supposed to start at 18:45 but didn't start until 19:00 and lasted 35 minutes Too much time between games waiting around Owner/Guy who runs the place trying to sell everything and anything (I wasn't looking to buy and indicated no interest in doing so) But I appreciate they need to make money but target those that want to buy or show some interest. Space for kit very limited and cramped even for a handful of people. Overall I would definitely go again and hope that it runs a lot smoother so we get more game time.

Not having a clue what to expect and being senior in years to a majority of the players I was suprised to find myself absorbed and leaping about albeit to avoid being a target (not very successful on that count) as if I had a second youth. Very close range indoor site. Two floors with the courtrooms upstairs and the cells underneath. The dilapidated Victorian gaol and courtrooms give the place a post apocalyptic look. Friendly marshals and a relaxed pace make for a fun Thursday night out.

Monday tester day for 15 pounds retnal, 2 hours of game if not more and i loved it great price. 100% coming back next Monday and will continue to get Ukara, my own kit, and the come for full days at Saturdays. The only thing i did not like was that the rental kit face mask really hurt due to me wearing glasses but for 15 pounds it's not a big problem. bought my own face protection for next time. Fast paced games with friendly players but the site is a little small if there is many players and it feels like it might fall down one day. However I do love the site. Worth going especialy if you are new.

The marshalling is first class combining an understanding of actually playing airsoft means the marshalling is fair with no bias towards the "home" players. I have had nothing but nice experiences. The people are genuine and you can talk openly to them. About any Airsoft relates problem. It's so friendly and people are so proud of there gear some allow you to have a look, so you can get a better experience. I would say the only downfall, is in virus I feel there should be a 20 seconds preparation start. As 10 seconds to be able to run, gain a position, with players that are new is difficult as they block you from that. Specially when you have 20+ people running in different directions. This is now my main site though ;)

My second airsoft game was at this site and I've been playing here regularly for half a year now. I've found the staff and players to be friendly and I've never encountered a cheater on this site. If you're a beginner, I'd advise going on a Sunday because the marshals that work Sundays seem to be better at explaining the rules "from scratch". The weeknight games are shorter (usually 7.30 to 11) but only cost £12.50 for a walk on! Cheapest airsoft game in the entire country, I suspect. If you've played airsoft a long time now, it's worth knowing that the staff here constantly try new out new game modes. They also move the cover around so the tactics of the site changes from week to week. Also important is that the staff are willing to listen to advice and will change the game if it's clearly unfair to one side. The site is a small one and actions is very close and fast paced. Best thing about this is that walks to respawn are usually 15 seconds. However, the site feels crowded when there's over 20 people - bear that in mind. Overall, a great site that I'm proud to call my regular.

Knelt down, peaking through cover in a pitch black room. After a few mins suddenly you here the shouts 'hit' one after the other. You start to think did I test fire my weapon yet or should I tuck my hoody in more. But no time for that now flashlight coming round corner don't think they're friendly........ 'FIRE'...... 10/10 would get hit in the head by a BB gun again. Come and sightsee at The Old Magistrates Court, make new freinds and then shoot at them. Great venue but would be nothing without the fantastic staff and player community that are always happy to help and explain things even to a total noob like me. Noob tip: Wear a decent hoody and gloves.
