L. M. W.I visited the Cardiff store on Wednesday with my daughter. She had turned 5 the week before and wanted to spend her birthday money. We were greeted by a young woman called Aimee by the door and she immediately had my daughters attention and gave her a sticker with her name and age on and explained how BAB works. She was so helpful and got my daughter involved in the whole making of her teddies. I had to review to praise just how wonderful this member of staff was, she is a credit to your store. 👏
S. P.Visited here for the first time to make a memorial bear. It was busy in there but we didn't feel like we had to wait long.
The lady with the red hair (sorry I didn't get your name) dealt with the bear making with us and was very helpful and understanding.
Extra thanks to Shaun on the tills too who also could see how much this meant to us.

C. P.After some careful consideration one what I wanted to do with my nan's ashes, today I visited the Cardiff store to choose a bear for them to go in.
Brooklyn helped through the whole process. Once I explained what I wanted to do he was extremely understanding and caring, made me feel at complete ease and still managed to sell the build a bear experience.

S.I would like to say a big big thank you to Shaun and the staff at the Cardiff store, it was already a very busy day and as we waited in the long queue outside a very scary large protest broke out in the shopping centre, people were screaming, kids crying, and some protesters even approached people simply waiting in the queue shoving flyers in our faces, it was awful!!
Shaun instantly stepped in-between the queue and protesters and hurried everyone inside even though the store was already clearly busy! He had some difficult getting some members of the public to simply move along but he handled everything very well.
He and the staff then made sure we were all ok, very brave and caring team that went above and beyond even in that difficult situation, not just for myself but for everyone who was in the store with us, I did feel rather nervous but Ali who stuffed our bear’s made us smile and laugh as if nothing had happened, she was amazing with the kids.
Alex helped us find some clothes and even though they didn’t have the frog’s or eevee onsie she still showed us other options that worked with our Pokemon, she was super friendly.
Cooper on tills also so easily entertained them both, talking about Pokemon, asked us where we were going for food and our plans for the day and made us feel very welcomed.
I spoke to Alex on the way out to find out the names of the staff we spoke with and to express my appreciation to her and the team for everything they had done and how quickly they all reacted!!
For a first visit I couldn’t be happier, well maybe if I had a frog and less chaos I could be, but il let that slide considering the service we had, I will be returning and would recommend this store to everyone, what a fantastic team of truly nice people.

K.Great range of products in a large clean store, the staff are great, very good with kids of all ages. The prices are a little on the steep side for what you get but they sell everything you need to make, dress and accessorise your bear, it is a good experience for the kids.
Plenty of parking is available in St David's 2, cheapest and cleanest in Cardiff.
L. T.This store has great staff. No brilliant staff. No top staff. Takes a lot to consistently be in character for the children. We arrived at the worst time start of a special offer. It was busy but the staff managed it great and I total appreciate the focus on the children and less so on the parents. Not cheap but more than a teddy and my daughter knows it's special and is always with her teddy.

S. B.Far exceeded my expectations. It is not just a shop where the kids choose a bear, dress it and maybe help in putting it together like I expected. The staff there were amazing, despite the shop being busy, they took the time to make my children feel special and made us laugh. They clearly love children and have excellent customer service. Unfortunately out of the 3 staff that helped us I only caught the name tag of Rhiannon who helped my children stuff their bears. However, they ALL made it a lovely experience.

H.We were immediately greeted by a friendly member of staff who told us how to use the different stations and about the various offers that were on selected bears/accessories without feeling pressured to purchase anything there and then! There is an amazing selection of bears and accessories to choose from, however some items were quite pricey.

A. J.Build a bear is a shop. It sells you an empty bear which you have to have filled. You can add things like a smell and a voice and lots of accessories. However everything is priced individually and what you think is going to be a £20 toy turns into £50 before you've realised it. Yrs the quality is good and the staff are really nice and very helpful and great with kids but it's not the kind of place you can afford to take more than 1 child at a time.
