An absolutely amazing hidden gem for unique gift ideas as well as memorabilia and vintage/antiques.
S. R.
Friendly staff with lots to find. Great variety of items and an open roof bar. Great venue.
S. C.
great venue for events, entry is usually £20 and drinks are reasonably priced, always has some great underground music that you won't get in the likes of tramshed or other cardiff venues
G. S.
Great selection of antiques and friendly staff with good prices. Loved it in here! Don't miss the gallery on the top floor either
M. C.
For all of us antique shop lovers, Jacob's antique centre is a must stop while in Cardiff. This place has the unmistakable ambiance of a true antique shop. From the moment you enter this place, you'll feel happy be surrounded by such cool collection of things. The variety is wide and each collection owner brings their own unique touch to their section.
I love visiting this store and I rarely leave empty handed!
M. B.
Very cool comic shop upstairs. Got £20 worth of comics for just £15 and they've got loads of back issues for just a pound each. They're quite eager to offer discounts if you buy a stack of comics 👍
T. M.
Love this place . There's a great crystal place right at the top of building.
k.
Really nice place with lots of antiques for all tastes. Hidden gem inside Cardiff.
A. E.
Very knowledgeable dealers. Lots to see open Thursday to Saturday
Enjoy.
T. M.
A must visit for Cardiff. Stunning one of a kind pieces big and small. Run by a wonderful group of passionate people and will make you feel at home 🖤

Poor old Jacob's Antiques. It's looking like it needs a re-vamp. The traders are forlorn and the atmosphere is as lively as a visit to the Doctor's. If they want more foot flow and, importantly, sales they need to improve the wares on offer, get more traders in and advertise they're still in existence. There's space out the front. Get some tables and chairs, offer refreshments for starters.
J. D.
Wonderfully nostalgic trip through chic history! Lovely items on sale from a wide selection of vendors
S. P.
Great place to buy your next vintage and antique item. The antique Centre is on 3 different floors, many different dealers, some really interesting piece. Specially if you are into antique and vintage lighting, or militaria.
T.
Good to see this antiques and bruc-a-brac centre open again. The rooftop bar was buzzing with scores of young people in the glorious sunshine. The staff at the few stalls that were open were chatty and hopeful that things will pick up. Go and visit on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
D.
Really good stock over several floors and reasonably priced militaria if that's your thing. One of the best antique markets in South Wales.
C. H.
Visited in the hope of finding some specific items. I did not find but it was enjoyable to browse.
Cluttered in places, but sparse in others.
Stall holders were polite and helpful when approached.

Always worth a visit, really nice stall owners. Looked at buying a few things intend to return. Family did buy a lovely coffee set.
C. W.
Love this extraordinary place a real alladins cave .

Finally managed to be in Cardiff at the same time Jacobs was open. I didnt get 20 feet into the shop and had spent all my budget on over 300 Cabinet Cards. Great fun, great dealers. Hopefully back in a few weeks.
J. P.
Just a few of the bargains I picked up
T. J.
lots of interesting memorabilia 2 browse around
N. W.
Lots of old stuff, as I'm sure you would imagine. Found a blunderbuss which was pretty sweet. Cool roof bar as well. Would recommend.
C. L. S.
Interesting place, one side the railway line, then surrounded by modern office buildings. Can be a little hard to find.
4 floors and a slightly scary old fashioned lift!
Great for gift shopping. Interesting gallery on the top floor.
B. S.
One of my favourite places in Cardiff although I would like to see disabled accessibility put in place for the upper levels so I can show a friend around. But aside of that, I've spent many an hour or two browsing around in that place. And now there's so much more going on too!
C. D.
Should you be in Cardiff don't not take a chance on finding your personal treasures at a friendly and low key trove of eccentric treasures from many decades all in one place at bargain prices. A place where you feel as if you should have paid an admission price but it's free to peruse.
A. M.
Jacobs Market is the longest established antiques market in Cardiff and the best.
Everything from vintage to 21st century, from jewellery to furniture to modern electric pushbike. And of course Cardiff oldest comic shop, 42 years old and still trading.
M. “. J.
I have been going here for 15 years absolutely fantastic it's like a museum
C. G.
The only reason we go to Cardiff is for this shop! Love it! Can spend hours in all of the different stalls. Lots of bargains and super friendly staff!
E. M.

This place is like Aladdin's cave! Full of lovely trinkets, clothing and furniture. You can get access to the roof and a cool view of Cardiff. Great if you're looking for a quirky gift, or if you're in need of antique props for a Theatre show!
H. G.
Really amazing place. Huge variety of goods and most are reasonably priced.
A brilliant volume of militaria, jewellery, furniture and artwork. Second floor has a good quality library too.
M. E.
Love this place! Lots of traders under one roof. Not particularly cheap but stuff there is well worth the price if you are a collector.
Antique and collectable items, from vintage military clothes, to jewellery, guitars, books and everything in between. Something for everyone!
K. W.
Very interesting place. You can find lots of used but in a good shape, older and also new stuff. Wide variety - from furniture through toys, cloths to postcards. Highly recommended, even if you have nothing in particular in mind to buy.

The basement coffee shop a really good place to drop off and have a chat. Really suprised at the quality coffee and carrot cake to die for. Would definitely go back to the coffee shop and perhaps try the chocolate gateaux next !!
T. F.
A great place for wandering around. It's very convenient to the centre and at the same time a bit of a secret. Three floors of stalls and a friendly relaxed atmosphere
G. R.
A 4 storey building situated by a railway bridge. On display are all kinds of weird & wonderful wares and antiques. From 1920's jewellery and swords, vintage toys to old books, magazines and a stuffed bear. Have purchased many a 'strange' item.
N. W.
Not bad but if you like antiques and second hand goods, the pumping station is far superior. I haven't been back to the Jacobs to be honest. Only went once
D. E.
