S.Went in on saturday 11/12/21 and was fairly busy, but the service from all staff members we spoke to were fantastic, especially from the store manager Dan who was really accommodating and went above and beyond to meet my expectations, finding the right toy which was originally out of stock, and now we will have a very happy 2yr old this xmas, 10 out of 10, thank you Smyths
P.Placed an order, online, & was ready to pickup, within the hour. Fast service, in store, & while we were there, we picked up a couple more things, & were helped to choose a bike, for our granddaughter, mostly by her. 🤓
A. E.Our first visit today and we wished we'd known about this place earlier. The range is better than competitors in town and good value too. The car park is bedlam at weekends though. And I don't appreciate having to listen to nasty commercial radio pumped through the tannoy. Is that to improve staff motivation, perhaps? It would drive me spare if I had to listen to that all day. Nonetheless, we will be back and it's good to have discovered a decent toyshop on our doorstep.

Bought a bike for Christmas, which had an issue with the rear tyre. Took it back with the receipt (it had not not been ridden) and fixed within 10 minutes with no hesitation. Wasn't expecting that from reading a previous review.
Plus the two members of staff behind the computer game counter, excellent knowledge and advice. Very friendly and exceptional professionalism. Well done.

w. n.Really nice shop to go buy toys. I don't usually come in cause I don't live nearby but normally come in to buy the kids a little treat. Really good range of toys, they sell almost every toy you can think of.

M. W.Shop is fine, lots of products for children of all ages. However each time I've been its like walking into a nightclub the music is so loud, and totally inappropriate music for a child's shop. I can't think straight so end up leaving and heading of to Argos or B and M's. No idea why they thinks that's good for business.
N. B.I collected a birthday gift from the Chelmsford store this evening, as Colchester was sold out; unavoidably, my little boy was with me.
The member of staff at the counter was very helpful and waited behind a door with my order until I'd managed to convince my son to go and look elsewhere. The staff member double checked before he came out with my purchase and packed it quickly into the waiting bag.
He was very considerate and pleasant - thank you! I'm sorry, I should have checked your name badge so you'd get the credit!
Great selection of pretty much anything a child could want in store and online plus plenty of parking available.
J. M.Good selection, staff get very stroppy with kids when they ride toys past the little area, wouldnt be so bad if the kids had more room to test out what they wanted rather than a tiny strip. Other toy shops ie toys r us never have a problem with kids giving toys a good test.

M. M.Great store in itself and has lots of stock but not the right kind because it only has a wide variety of the same things. Also, the store is a little ugly so that's what dragged it down to 4 stars
J. W.Extremely helpful staff have been to the Colchester shop twice over the Christmas period and on both occasions the staff have been very helpful finding items for me and explaining things about toys to me. Would highly recommend 👍

A.Went there to buy a birthday present for my grandson, a bug in kitchen game , but came out with an hexbug nano v2 glow in the dark, with the help off a member of staff ,that explained everything about it and that you can add to it and sho us all the bits you can get to go with it , I'm really pleased with it think my grandson is going to love it (hopefully), customer service , really good , told me everything and sho me everything,
