Had a lovely experience with my 3 yo daughter.. She got the most of it being able to choose what she wanted to paint. The lady who was working was really friendly and informative about how to make the best product. Overall good choice for bank holiday activity.

Went today with a couple of friends and had a nice experience. Not the cheapest activity, but there are a big range of pots in different styles and prices to choose from and lots of lovely painted pots to use as inspiration for your designs. Would definitely recommend for family activities, as well as for small groups of friends, and will be returning. Thanks!

Lovely little independent craft activity shop. Paint your own (ready made, great range) pottery, either to be fired or to take away that day; also does foam clay. Small range of drinks. Clean public toilets and cafe nearby.

Hi Samuel. Sorry to learn you had two disappointed children. Between Nov and March we do close at 4pm which is advertised ( let me know if any information has been wrongly displayed). We close early in the winter because the park is not the place I want my staff walking through in the dark for obvious reasons. And apologies to my staff if you only managed to get your lunch at 3.20! Anne Marie - Owner

Paint a Pot has a great selection of blanks to paint, good value, friendly and helpful. Fun for all ages and abilities. For more energetic activity Markeaton Park is very nice too.
