We initially bought artificial lawn from them which is very good quality and since bought carpet for the entire upstairs of our home. We were very delighted with the service from the shop. Very helpful and we were delighted that we got the laminate floor fitted quickly and efficiently. The only thing that bugged me was the fact that the clear filler that was used in front of the fireplace was dripped onto the flooring in one place but more care was needed when moving away from the fireplace as it left a mark on the flooring. The carpet we had fitted in the bedroom was excellently done. The fitter was very professional and he did a great job.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff in the showroom and the price quoted was very reasonable with only half paid upfront. The room was measured at the time agreed and the second half of the payment sent a couple of days before installation. The fitter was clearly very experienced and fit the carpet, grippers and underlay in around an hour. The fitment is perfect and exactly what we expected. Firstly just wanted to say thank you to AJ for the amazing customer support provided. I was in a bit of a pickle because of another carpet company who took my money and never showed up on the day of the fitting. I had removed all the carpet and because of them being a no show, I had no carpet. I was very upset because upon ringing up that company, they said they won’t make it until mid January. I then cancelled with that company and contacted The Carpet Stop who being as amazing as they are sorted getting my house carpeted and at such an amazing price. With the other company I was paying loads for rubbish quality carpet. But with The Carpet Stop, the carpet is luxurious with very soft feel and at a very cheap price. This carpet shop came highly recommended to me and I wasn’t disappointed. I had a look round and AJ who works there came over to help me . All of the carpets were lovely but I explained to him that I had incurred an expense due to no fault of my own and so therefore I was working with a limited budget. AJ asked me which room the carpet was for and showed me carpets which had the right backing on and could be put down without underlay to keep my costs down - I have initially picked a colour I like and AJ will bring the sample book out when he comes to measure for me to make my final choice . Fitting the carpet was also booked in and a deposit was taken with the rest to be paid the day before fitting. Sometimes in life one needs some understanding and flexibility by the service provider. Moving home is one such time. I organised carpet fitting date but due to unforeseen circumstances and beyond my control I had to change the carpet fitting date twice. The guys at Carpet Stop Derby, in particular Nadeem and Naeem, were great in facilitating the change. On the eventual fitting day the fitters arrived on time and did a good job. As usual a fantastic service all round. So AJ came to measure up after I had been in to choose the carpet, and he was straight on it with his tape measure. Very pleasant chap and very friendly. Great carpet, good price, and excellent service - highly recommended. AJ was fantastic and very accommodating, they even came and restretched the carpet after fitting. One thing worth mentioning is that I asked for a refund of my deposit so I could pay from a different card, and they charged me a fee for doing so. Not a big deal, but I have never experienced this before so thought it worth mentioning. Otherwise top class service and will definitely be using again.

I recently purchased and had my whole house carpeted. The service was polite and friendly from speaking to the sales agent all the way to after service. Price was fair/ expensive but then again, my wife chosen the expensive carpet. I did test the sales agent like I did with the competition, I asked which underlay would be the best. The competition just stated, the more expensive the better will be 🙄 Mr Mannan asked me the type & age of people living in the house etc. then after choosing the carpet suggested which would be beneficial to us and what will improve the lifespan of the carpet. We went with his recommendations and with the suggestion of slightly darker carpet because of our young family. I guess that showed me that I wasn't just being fleeced by the agent. Called on Thursday stating that I urgently needed a new carpet as after I washed my current carpet a bad smell started to be brought to the surface, I spoke with Harry and explained my new born was due home any time soon, he recommended the Andes carpet as it came with underlay in the price so I took a look online and chose colour number 63 from the Andes Saxony range. I have used the CarpetStop several times. In Oct 2018 I used them for both carpet and lino floors - other companies said the room layout was too difficult and the lino would have to be joined. The CarpetStop fitters Colin and his son managed to get it down in one piece. They also made an excellent job of laying the screed. Now in May 2019 I am using them to lay carpet and matting in my rental property. Their prices are competitive and their fitters turn up when they're supposed to.

Was in a mad rush to get my new house set up to move and had even room need fitting in my house with a new carpet as I had items being delivered over the week went in one the Friday expend what was going on got a nice welcome sat down and the help me with everything and managed to get me a fitting on the Wednesday and on the same day they sent a friendly bloke out to came measure evething up then the next week 2 friendly bloke came out first thing I was thinking was this is going to be a all day job at least 8 hours the came a 8 and was done 7 room with in 5 hours I would recommend the carpet shop to everyone
