An excellent place to buy Christmas gifts both online and in person. They provide excellent customer service, with a wide selection of quality toys and friendly staff. Online toys are grouped together by age and type allowing you to easily find suitable gifts.

Lovely independent toy shop with lots of unusual toys. Good range of prices either for gifts or for the kids to spend their pocket money. The staff were really friendly, chatted with kids, and happily recommended items to suit their budgets and ages. We'll definitely be back - don't think the kids will let us stay away!

Lovely toy shop selling high quality toys for younger children and babies, including Hape and Bigjig brands. Great for things for babies and toddlers, especially if you want wooden toys that will last the generations. The shop assistants are really helpful and will order things in quickly if they can. Highly recommended!

This is a gem of a shop. The family friendly atmosphere, and, the super interaction with children of all ages is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. My twin daughters were literally able to road test anything that caught their eye. The selection on offer is fabulous, these are not your everyday high street toys. Beautifully made toys with a real traditional feel. Perfect for everyday purchases and for finding that something special toy to treasure. So thrilled to have found this local shop online. Lovely range of quality, educational toys and gifts. Ordered last night and was delighted and surprised to have the items delivered this afternoon by the owner and his daughter (I was expecting them to arrive by courier in several days time). They enquired if we were all keeping well (whilst social distancing from the road outside) as if we were regular customers and known to them. Will definitely be paying their shop in Castle Donington a visit when the current restrictions allow. A thoroughly pleasant retail experience!

I have ordered both online and been into the store and I have been happy every time. Julie and her team are always happy to help. I highly recommend buying toys from here. One of the recent toys I purchased was a lanka kade bag of dinosaurs which were a massive success!

This is a truly wonderful toy shop. It caters mainly for younger children, and has a wide selection of high quality toys, chosen with great taste and imagination by the owner. All are beautifully made, many of wood, vibrantly coloured, but also include the softest and most attractive of soft toy animals. Many items are designed to stimulate a young child's development and imagination, and there is a good selection of books. The staff are lovely - exceptionally helpful and friendly, and clearly take a genuine interest in helping you find something to delight a child (and yourself!). Finally, we were amazed to find that the prices here are much lower than we expected to pay for such quality. My wife and I have greatly enjoyed our visits to buy gifts for our Granddaughter. There is magic here.

The Olive Branch offered to gift wrap the toy I had bought and send a note alongside due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They dispatched and delivered the product quickly and sent a follow up email asking if the person had received it on time. This Toy Shop is amazing! It's like an Aladdin's cave and the staff are brilliant at suggesting what toys are best for what age, and they even do the gift wrapping for you. Saved me, when I needed a last minute birthday gift! I've discovered I can order online too. Even better.
