It’s not often I ever post on any review sites but on this occasion I felt the necessity to do so because of , yet again , the excellent advise , superb craftsmanship , competitive prices and fantastic customer after care. I initially asked Jonathan Horgan , a Director at United Carpets , for some advice regarding artificial turf suitable for my garden and 2 sprocker spaniels . He was able to recommend a product ( which you see my 2 dogs sat on ) and provided a highly competitive supply and fit price. However , as I was having other work done my own contractors were able to offer me the fitting of the artificial turf for free. Jonathan was able to offer me the product , without fitting, at a rate still better than my contractors. So I purchased it. I subsequently required an urgent quote to supply and fit a very unique bathroom flooring, following a leak, and my insurance company required a bona fide quote from an experienced and reputable company. I had no hesitation in contacting United Carpets at Doncaster and again Jonathan dealt with myself. He dealt with every aspect of the quotation and liaison with the insurers , taking away a considerable amount of pressure and stress from my wife and I , and Hey Presto new bathroom floor. 2 years ago I had a bedroom refit and didn't hesitate in going to United Carpets to browse a selection of their carpets. After settling on a carpet for the bedroom we were about to arrange fitting and Jonathan recognised us as returning customers. He immediately provided us with an upgrade to the underlay without any increase in cost. The fitters were excellent. They were quick and tidy and when asked if they could refit an area of living room carpet for us , which the dogs had removed , they did so without hesitation and refused to take payment. So I write this review because as we speak Jonathan is providing more advise and quality samples of artificial turf for some work at my Dads on my recommendation. Something I wouldn’t do if I wasn’t 100% satisfied with quality workmanship , quality products and top class customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend United Carpets at Doncaster to anyone. Where possible ask for Jonathan. He maybe busy but he will always make the time and effort to help and advise. Cheers.

really nice member of staff. we have a stairlift and alot of companies didnt want to even discuss fitting these were great said they can fit it even tho we have paid a little more because it will take alot more time which i didnt mind at all it was still cheaper than paying to have stairlift took out and put back in again

A good selection of roll ends and on the off the roll carpets and you can't beat the carpet smell as you walk in.

I’ve brought carpets and wood flooring from this company on several occasions. Top shop, great prices and friendly staff. Jonno was brilliant with his knowledge, recommendations and advice. I would highly recommend for any flooring job small or big.

I hate to leave a bad review so I will mention the positives after - When I originally contacted the store I were advised to come in with my own measurements so that I did as the lady on the phone was reluctant to send someone out to measure although it says ' Free measuring ' outside and in.. After I were given a quote and picked my flooring, concerned my measurements MAYBE wrong, I then asked again if one of the staff could measure.. Again avoidance. The third time I asked they agreed. After the measure up, my measurements were slightly off ( my own fault so I fully expected to pay more ). Upon arriving to pay the rest of the money I were told a extra £35 would be added. Fair enough, but then I got a phone call from the team explaining I cannot have the flooring I want and I'll have to pick something else because they didn't want to order another size. Upon arriving at store my cheapest option still added another £90 on top of my bill.. Plus the £35.. = £125 more than the original quote. After complaining, they agreed to order the flooring I actually wanted HOWEVER, when I spoke to the manager she still said I had to pay the extra £90? Even though the flooring went back to 2nd quote. After a very blunt conversation with her she agreed to call me back and revise the invoice. She didn't do this though, she had a member of staff call me for her instead to say it was infact wrong and I will not be charged a extra £90. As a manager I expected her to call back and be professional and apologise for the mistake as this is what I would of done in her position especially after all the messing around I've had but she didn't seem too bothered considering I'd been messed around twice with the flooring and the invoice. POSITIVES are, They have a good range of flooring if you're lucky enough to find one that fits of course then hopefully they will agree to order it if not... Some staff are helpful, I think the young lads name were Ryan?? He were very accurate. Phil called me when he said he would to update me etc which I'm thankful for. Carpet fitters that came were also polite and did a good job, explained it all before they started and all in all the flooring is great ! Just the problems prior to fitting was the issue.

Easiest transaction ever made!, walked in was greeted straight away and within 15 minutes we had bought our babys carpet and booked fitting really happy with customer service will update when carpet has been fitted
