Cheap, yet good quality. B&M has never disappoint. And I wish to thank all the staff of Durham B&M for their wonderful work. They're very friendly and very helpful. You have made this new immigrant feel very welcomed. Thank you very much for your hard work.

Medium sized store. Range of stock is ok but it often seems a bit cramped in the eisles to me. Not sure if they are smaller than in some stores? Car park is reasonable, you can usually get a space. Longer ques seem common here. It is a busy store. Can be a bit busy in the area after the tills (depends how much stock they put there) Some till staff can seem a bit harassed and abrupt but the majority seem fine. It's ok but not my favourite store.

Huge choice and variety of products. Good value and always a first thought when I need most things for the home. This store can get very busy on weekend and not much room to queue up but always has late opening so I try to go at quieter times

Went to look first multi tool cutter. What they had wasn't what I was looking for. But surprised they had one at all. The store is quite well laid out and there's lots of household stuff as well as groceries.

This place is huge, selling just about everything from food to tools, electronics to gardening. There's even a garden centre selling various garden items such as fencing. Well worth a visit.

A large store of this national chain including a large home section and a good outside garden centre. On this visit we found the staff to be very helpful. The store is roomy, clean and with plenty of space between aisles. There is good car parking space and easily accessible for the less mobile.

Visited here a few times and most times it was relatively busy. I asked a shop assistant if they stocked something and their response was, "If you can't see it, we won't have it". The thing I was looking for, I had a rough idea but went round 3 times before I managed to find it. The shop assistant did not offer to help me look and could have lost a sale. I also bought my son a Ryan toy egg on my last 3 visits, they're on offer for £8 instead of £11 which I liked but he then got the same one 3 times in a row so it was a waste of £16 and I had an upset 4 year old. They were in the same box so I wasn't impressed (however I know that's the toy company's fault, not the store). I needed to return an item and this was sorted out very quickly and the staff on the checkouts were really efficient and polite.

Only coming in for a few bits and pieces? Wrong. Bring a trolley. The baskets will not suffice. You'll fill your basket in the first aisle from all the continental food and by the time you've got to what you want, your basket will be full. There should be trolleys mid way around the shop to compensate for this!

Brilliant amount of stock for any season, house stuff everything from rugs to toilet roll holders then cutlery and throws. A whole aisle of diy stuff and even furniture such as double beds and wardrobes. Don't go in here expecting to not buy anything. There will be something you walk out with!

Strange to post a comment about a B&M, maybe? I was so impressed when I walked in here. The staff were all very busy (not on their mobiles or gossiping) whilst being most helpful when needed. Most notably, all the shelves were fully merchandised. There were no gaps, out of stocks, or piles of to-be-stocked on the floor. The value of what was in my basket was also great.

Been here a few times now to get me some bargains, the odd time i cant find something im after the staff are always happy to help, especially a lady called Lynn, she has helped me out a good few times, she is super friendly always able to help and recommend things in the store, she is a credit to store she always says hi when i see her too, its nice to build a rapport with someone it makes you want to come back more, knowing there is people who will go that extra mile to make your shopping trip easier.

A large B&M on the outskirts of Durham City. Good range of products and on the whole the prices are competitive. The store can be rather cramped to get around as the aisles seem quite narrow. It also feels quite untidy and like it needs a good clean.
