B. B.Excellent range of freshly caught fish. I got the special for the day which was Cajun marinated white fish fillets with some garlic marinated king prawns included for free. Cooked and eaten as soon as I got home, delicious
A. M.Excellent quality, good knowledgeable staff who will answer all questions and and cut the fish to your preference. I go here all the time and I am never dissapointed with the selection on offer, a must visit for all fish lovers.
S. P.We stumbled upon this place on Saturday while looking for a butchers in Durham (easier said than done !) A day earlier we had visited Amble and picked up our seafood supplies.. unfortunatley mostly frozen and 2 oysters ! Very disappointing. In contrast this place had a great range of fresh seafood ( and not a bloody great fridge packed with frozen prawns and scollops etc) We purchased a dozen oysters , the service was with a smile and the oysters were beautiful with bacon. Lesson learned... if you want quality fresh seafood and good service just call at Durham market .

M. E.Very good range of fish and excellent quality. A little more pricey than supermarkets as to be expected, but 100% worth it for the freshness and range of produce. Whole fish are filleted in front of you if you wish.
