Probably my favourite shop in Edinburgh to visit! Everything is laid out in a really well organised and very visually pleasing manner! They have a great selection of fabrics. The guy who works there is really kind and really knows his stuff. He was able to help me choose a few patterns of varying difficulty for different projects as I progress and suggest suitable fabrics for them. I would highly recommend!

What a treasure to find via their website. Order placed Saturday and I expected to pick it up at the shop using their click and collect on Monday. What a great surprise to have it hand delivered within 24 hours! Excellent quality fabric and excellent service so highly recommended.

A small independent shop with a carefully considered range of furnishing fabrics but for me more importantly dress fabric. I saw exactly what I wanted the moment I walked into the shop. I even had a choice which I wasn't expecting. Expert staff know what they are talking about. As it's such a long journey for me I bought much more than I went in for. A wonderful ecperience

I have done one of the courses here and Kevin was helpful and welcoming. I have now made a quilt! The shop is great with an interesting array of fabrics that is a bit different. There is a good selection for most needs plus quilt-making equipment and swatches of fabric. You can get cottons and sewing equipment also. All of the people who work here that I have met are very helpful. I give it a high recommendation.

I love this shop! The fabrics are attractively displayed and there is an impressive stock to choose from. I asked for advice on material for curtains and wallpaper for a bedroom and was very impressed with the service/advice I recieved. The staff had to source the wallpaper from France! The staff helped me towards creating a bedroom of my dreams. I would highly recommend this shop on all levels for display, choice, service, and advice.

Fantastic selection of fabrics, some beautiful and unusual prints. Cotton, needles and accessories and really friendly, helpful staff. Upstairs is all dress making fabrics and downstairs is upholstery and curtains, they will make curtains to order or you can just get the fabric here. Under new ownership and a really fantastic treasure trove!

(Translated) Very friendly seller. Large selection and moderate prices (sometimes I only paid half the price than on the internet). There is still time for a little chat here. A great shopping experience. Too bad that in Germany such shops are almost extinct, at least in our area. I would even just go to Edinburgh to buy stuffs. (Original) Sehr freundlicher Verkäufer. Große Auswahl und moderate Preise (teilweise habe ich nur die Hälfte bezahlt als im Internet) . Hier hat man noch Zeit für einen kleinen Plausch. Ein tolles Einkaufserlebnis. Schade, dass in Deutschland solche Läden fast ausgestorben sind, zumindest in unserer Gegend. Ich würde sogar nur um Stoffe zu kaufen, Edinburgh besuchen.
