Not an arty person how attended for the frodrick exhibition! Good hall for the exhibition, plenty of good work on display & plenty of space to move about. While not much attention was paid to the store itself it seemed well stocked & had a bit of everything! The staff were pleasent & had a bit of a banter! Store itself had a fair few folk in having a look around! 🐴

Arrogant staff that look you up and down, which I guess a lot of people do, not actually knowing how to explain in depth the various properties of products, difference in paints, solvents etc, but I guess that their wage only covers the ability to stock merchandise and operate the till. Good prices when you find stuff on sale. Always cheaper on their online store though.

This shop is AMAZING! Fantastic service by Lauren at Cass Art Glasgow. Lauren guided me through beginning oil painting, giving her advice on materials and methods, advising what I require now and what's good later on, whilst listening to and respecting my limits, financial or other, and answering my questions easily. Cass art is a really nice art shop the people that work there are really nice and helpful. It is also really good if you need to buy singular marker pens and pencils you can also test out markers, pencils and fine liners. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks and paper for different media and materials and media.

Today I went to the till to purchase some items and told the member of staff what they were for, and that I had no idea what I was doing :) he immediately told me the problems I would encounter with the mix of materials I had chosen and spent a good five minutes showing me different items that would give a better end product. I’m 3/4 of the way through my project and it looks amazing, this guy knew what he was talking about! Absolutely buzzin to finish it - so can confirm free endorphins with purchase :)

A great art supply store with a wide selection of products. Their stock ranges from budget options to higher-end/professional lines and caters to many types of hobbies. Service was really good as well, as once I bought something and left the store, only to return a few minutes later to exchange it for something else. No fuss at all. They also have a great range of high quality spray paints (which I was looking for). Would definitely recommend for someone looking for art supplies in the city centre.

Good selection of art supplies. It is a bright shop that is inviting to look around. It has a modest stock however does not stock all ranges. The staff are pleasant and always happy to help. It is in a good location at the centre of the city centre. The prices are about average. They often have reductions on certain things. It is best to check online because sometimes there can be differences in prices. They will price match for you.

The man was so helpful, my asd child who never speaks chatted away for a good 15 mins about paint brushes.. he was very knowledgeable. Went out of his way to find exactly what it was she was looking for and even offered further advice on techniques. I would highly recommend this shop. The staff are very polite and friendly. Very nice place! Staff are lovely and the prices are really good for what they’re selling. Good with competitive pricing! The student discount is a big help too. Would be 5 stars if they had a bigger selection of things for other kinds of crafts, such as duct tape, EVA foam and acetate. (I’m a cosplayer so I need such materials)

Fantastic little art store, it's has lots of different things on offer for many many different mediums. They have everything from paper stock to screen printing supplies on offer and at a very fair price too. They also offer student discount and a loyalty rewards scheme. The staff are always friendly and helpful when you don't know where to find something. There is also craft protection for kids too.

A nice airy well laid out store, with a large selection of artist materials. The only draw back I could see is because they carry such a large selection, there is little choice within the materials you are wanting. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest to be found, but certainly not the most expensive. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Quality products in large variety. I come here every time I’m in Glasgow, sometimes just to browse. It has a clean and neat interior and very helpful nice staff that are open to answer any questions and assist if necessary. The products can be slightly pricy but the cost is on par with the quality of the products. Cass Art has saved me plenty times in my art emergencies. Student discount is a big plus!

Helpful and interested staff, who are always keen to hear about your art project. Good range of materials. I've bought three types of paper for screen printing today. I'll be interested to see which produces the best results...... And the answer is definitely Bristol board! Not cheap, but well worth it.

Handy for art materials. I buy oil paints from there and the prices are reasonable for those. However basic stuff is overpriced, a decent sized putty rubber is 4 Quid!! And masking tape is about 4 quid too....Also feel that their stock is limited choice wise...like they only have one brand of cartridge paper...no cheaper options.

Amazing store - the architecture is wonderful inside, it has everything specific for artists/artisan architects and is so lovely! The staff are extremely friendly - the lady in there still remembered me after a few months! It has almost everything displayed on their website, and cool gadgets and small gifts with purchases. Also right next to St. Enoch. The only downside is it's quite expensive - but I do recommend it if you need to buy specialist equipment as they have branded products. If you don't like the price, which I don't, go to the Works (which has all of the regular stuff) or Poundworld, not POUNDLAND, as Poundland has cheap quality products!

However lacks the breadth of range in the old Miller's art store on Aryle st for us fossils who still like to mix our own paints . Another consequence of the internet but I do miss the smells and feel of real paints and thinners in an impossibly varied pallet . Check it out and make sure we Don't lose another art store ...:)

Cass art is a great little shop selling everything art wise even a small craft section. I was saddened with the city artstore shut their doors but cass art has certainly softened the blow. I would ask everyone to think about buying your art material from here or Miller's i know we can buy online sometimes cheaper but if we keep buying online we will lose these wonderful shops and helpful staff forever.

I wanted swann morton blades for my swann morton no.4 handle. I asked the girl at the counter if the no.10 ones she offered me were compatible with all swann handles. She gave no response. I assumed that she didn't know, and bought them. When I got home, the blades wouldn't fit on my handle. I did a little online research and found that my blade required blades in the range 18-36. I took the blades back and got a refund. Cass need a little more knowledge re these blades.
