K. F. (.Fantastic idea, and they have most tools to get most jobs done. Great for when you need random tools that aren't worth buying and having to store. They even have gardening tools, so it's fabulous.
O. S.A great community resource that everyone in Glasgow should know about. You can create an account on their website and get a one-year membership on a pay-what-you-can basis with a recommended donation of £20. After this, you're able to borrow tools from their wide selection all year for free, with a loan time of one week plus the possibility of a one-week renewal. Staff are super knowledgeable and friendly and it makes me glad that the organisation is doing such great work in Glasgow. Definitely recommend if you need a specific tool for a project or are just looking to try out a new skill or craft: I borrowed a knitting machine and it works brilliantly, a device I never would have had the chance to use if it hadn't been available through GTL.
